This fic is dead. I know that some of you might be angry or disappointed and trust me I am disappointed too but I don't think I was doing justice to what I was trying to write. Yeah, the magic was cool and well built just like the world but there were no true stakes OR risk on the part of Nathan. What I was writing felt more like a bland, very slow summary rather than a fic about an exciting and horrifying wolrd of magic.
If you liked this one though please check out my new fic.
A Tale of Two Brothers is also a self-insert into the Wizarding World but this time the story won't be info dumping the system. I will slowly build upon the canon magic system while also trying to make this fic not about magic solving all problems for the mc.
This time the story will lean in these directions more— An overpowered mc that can't solve all his problem with magic. Ideologies. Social change. The nature of war and the mc's willingness to participate in it. Relationships. Stakes that have consequences beyond Voldemort and will impact Magical Britain's foundations.
