I hope you all are satisfied with the story's direction and my attempts at world building.
From here on onward the story will have a sub-plot away from canon that will deal with the fall of the USSR and how the magical world played a role that lead to the fall in 1991.
I am doing this because it would allow for more setups on my part when it comes to why the international community as a whole did not try to avert Voldemort's second rise post 1995 when Dumbledore's warning was proven right.
It would also allow me to depict how the larger world operates outside of magical Britain.
