Chapter 35: Transaction

Professor McGonagall didn't stay for long and quickly returned to her office.

As soon as she stepped out of the Great Hall, the Hufflepuff badgers began to let themselves go, and the originally quiet dining table suddenly turned into a bustling market.

"Kyle Chopper."

Kyle mocked the "uneducated" Cedric in his heart, but there was no change on his face.

"There's no need to pay." Kyle took out the map and handed it to Cho, "After all, you have helped Ryan and Mikel before. They are my roommates, so consider this a thank-you gift."

"So they were your roommates."

Kyle blushed and did not dare to continue the topic. He pointed at the map and said: "The routes here are all related to the Hufflepuff common room, and they may not be that useful to Ravenclaw."

"Then you'll have to hurry." Cho reminded: "For Ravenclaw, this map is only valuable for one week after the start of school. The longer it drags, the lower the price will get. If it's tomorrow, it will probably be worth nine Sickles."

"That's enough." Kyle smiled and then extended his hand to Cho: "Are you interested in participating? I will be responsible for providing the map, and you will be in charge of advertising and the specific transactions. As for the profit... we split it equally."

Cho was a little surprised, but she reacted quickly, held Kyle's hand, and said, "Of course, I'm very interested."

Cho did a simple calculation. There were 16 new students in Ravenclaw, 15 excluding herself. Even if only one-third of them bought the map the map, she would still be able to get 25 Sickles.

For a first-year student like her, this was a huge sum of money, and she certainly didn't want to miss out on it.

Besides, for her, it was just a matter of running errands and saying a few words, which couldn't get any easier.

Kyle nodded and said: "Then it's settled, I'll leave Ravenclaw to you."
