Back home and projects for the holidays.

When the train stopped at the station. The students ran to their families, who were waiting for them.

Adam said goodbye to Terry and Anthony, who had shared a compartment with him on the journey. And he started walking around the place, looking for someone.

He didn't have to walk far before he saw an older man, wearing a dark blue suit, smiling at him.

''Uncle George'' Adam spoke before running over and hugging the man.

I had missed George during that year at Hogwarts. Something that was very understanding, after all George was sort of the only 'relative' he had. And as much as they didn't have the same blood, Adam considered him his family.

''Looks like you haven't forgotten this old man in that time,'' joked George with wet eyes.

''Don't joke, Uncle.'' Adam chuckled. ''As interesting as Hogwarts was, nothing compares to our trip.''

George chuckled and ruffled the young man's hair.'' Really? And how about that confrontation you had with a Troll? ''

Adam pretended not to care much and fixed his hair, ''It was nothing, just a chance encounter.''

George messed up the hair Adam had just done again.'' You think I believe it? '' Snorted. ''If you hadn't asked me several times in the letter not to go to school, I would have kicked Dumbledore out of there and into the Ministry myself. Is this the so-called safest school?''

Adam burst out laughing at the language George had used.'' I'd like to see that scene. But it really wasn't a big deal. '' He made a playful look and continued. ''Nothing compared to the end of the year''

George sighed upon hearing this.'' I don't know what happened there, but I've heard some rumors in the ministry that the Auror of House Black has spent the last week mumbling about school security.''

Adam raised an eyebrow at that. '' Serious?''

''Yes'' George nodded and placed a hand on Adam's shoulder. ''We'll talk more after we get back to the mansion. I still want to know more about the event with the troll''

Adam sighed and knew he would have a long debriefing session after he got back.

''Ready?'' he asked, and only after Adam nodded did he Apparate.

Arriving at the mansion, Adam first took a shower and dressed in something more comfortable. Afterward he joined George in the main room for tea, biscuits and conversation.

Adam didn't hide much from the old man, he concealed the true level of danger that really circulated around Hogwarts a little, he didn't talk about Merlin and ancient magic, and of course, he left the name Voldemort well out of the conversation.

Adam didn't know if Voldemort's name would be associated with the attack on Hogwarts this year. He didn't know if Dumbledore would inform the ministry, in fact he doubted he would.

'If the rumors of Voldemort's return started now, it wouldn't be in three years that the quarrel between Dumbledore and Fudge, the current Minister of Magic, would happen, but at this very moment. '

'Dumbledore and everyone who knows about it should keep their mouths shut for now. If the Ministry found out about Voldemort being alive, the Death Eaters and corrupt wizards found out too, and that would be terrible at that point.'

On the one hand you would have the Ministry trying to deny this information, and on the other possibly Death Eaters looking to help Voldemort, of course, it was all guesswork, and it was hard to predict what would actually happen.

All the light faction wants right now is for the dark faction to remain inactive, not knowing about their leader.

''Uncle George. How is our current relationship with the ministry? '' asked Adam, as he cooled the tea.

The old butler was not surprised by Adam's question, he had known since last year that the young master of the house, Davies, had shown some interest in the current political situation.

''Although we don't support anyone in there, it's as good as it gets.'' George sneered as he continued. ''We have money and they want it. Bunch of worthless vultures. Especially this new Minister, Fudge, nothing but a fool with strong pure-blood tendencies.''

Adam understood well that that was how it worked, money was what really mattered for political power, if there wasn't enough influence, money would do the trick.

''They want us? '' asked Adam, even though he knew the answer.

''How not? '' Said George.'' Since we arrived they try to contact us, of course, they know I'm just a butler, and they try to contact the young master. But I prevented that from happening.''

George did not want Adam to have contact with these blood extremists, as much as he trusted the decisions that Adam showed, he would avoid as much as possible.

''Do they think that because our family is pure-blood, we're going to ally with them? '' Adam chuckled.

He knew his family history, it was made up of purebreds. And even though it followed some ridiculous customs like having only one child per generation. They had lost any prejudice against Muggles and Muggle-borns.

Maybe it wasn't always like this, and just maybe, his family, while not directly supporting, sympathized with Gellert Grindelwald's ideologies.

But since Adam's Grandfather was the leader of the family, those customs were already disappearing, and now with Adam being the new leader, it was indeed over.

'I think it's time to even the scales a little' He thought, remembering a certain name in the ministry, that the corrupt and death eaters feared.

''Uncle George, do me a favor.'' He paused to take another sip of tea and continued. ''Make some donations to the ministry. More specifically, the Department of Magical Law Enforcement.''

George frowned a little, preferring to avoid being associated with the ministry. Although, when he remembered the name in charge of the department that Adam had suggested, he couldn't help but laugh.

''Are you sure you want to choose a side so soon? '' asked the old man.

Adam crossed his legs and rested his face in his hand, thinking. He knew he could choose a side or stay neutral. Neutrality sounded good for those who just wanted to profit financially, and were afraid of the unknown. The logic was simple, if you remain neutral, you win regardless of who was victorious in the end.

But Adam knew what the end was, the dark faction will crumble, because Voldemort's ultimate downfall is imminent. If it weren't for Harry's hands, it would be his.

''Yes, I'm sure,'' he said, making his decision." But make it clear that our support is Madam Bones, make sure the money goes to the right Department, improve conditions for the Aurors.''

George nodded back. ''Understood, be sure I'll do it.'' He said, looking at Adam with a slightly surprised look.

Adam had a slightly different aura now, as if he had matured a lot in the last year. And the fact that the young Wizard was looking at something outside of magic and books showed that. Mainly your choice of whom to support.

In George's opinion, Adam made the best choice. Something that was not possible, without having studied the current powers well.

The Old Butler sighed, whenever he saw how much Adam was maturing, he regretted not having his old friends by his side, seeing his son's growth.

'The future of the house, Davies, looks brighter every day' He thought happily.

Adam and George continued there for a while longer, catching up, making jokes and drinking their tea. At no time did it look like one of them was eleven. For dinner that night, George requested that a feast be prepared.

After returning to the mansion, Adam took about three days of rest, before putting some projects into practice.

Adam was in an empty room in the mansion. The room was reinforced with a few spells to prevent sound from entering or leaving. In addition to increasing the durability of the place, there would be Adam's training environment and experiments during this vacation.

At that moment, the boy was sitting in the middle of the room, dozens of parchments and some wooden cubes arranged in front of him. Beside him, there were some types of ink, and other liquids in small closed vials.

Adam dipped the quill's tip in one of the inks, and with fluid, precise strokes, he drew a peculiar symbol on one of the parchments.

Although the symbol seemed peculiar to anyone other than Adam, to him, it was something 'ordinary'. In fact, the symbol was a rune.

One of the runes he managed to create, using what he learned from Merlin's runic language. If the rune was broken into many pieces, it would be possible to see traces of the many runes he had already studied, traces of Merlin's runes, and some details that he adjusted himself.

Some traits could be removed, and the rune would still work. But Adam preferred it that way, that way it could be something close to his creation.

On the parchment that Adam had just drawn the rune on, a light flickered, and the parchment caught fire.

''Thirteenth kind of, parchment. Fifth type of liquid mixture. Result, Failure'' He muttered, and that information was stored in his mind.

After storing that information, he took out a new scroll and repeated the process. Continuing like this for two full days, stopping only to sleep.

On the third day, he was in the same place, now he had a wooden cube in one hand and a silver dagger in the other. Adam injected magic into the dagger and carved a rune into the cube's surface. When he finished, the rune glowed a light blue light and darkened.

His gaze remained fixed on the cube for a while longer before a wide smile spread across his face.

''That's it, yet another functional combination.'' He said, smiling, and placed the cube beside it, where there were five other cubes engraved with runes.

Satisfied, he went over what he had learned from the tests over the past few days.

''First, ordinary scrolls don't support most runes.

Second, woods, which are commonly used to create wands, are excellent conductors and stores of magical energy. Making them perfect for runes.

Third, the blood of magical beings or beasts are excellent conductors of magical energy. ''

Adam, had arrived at these results after many tests. The Woods were easy to come by, and were all the material needed, plus of course, Adam's pure magic when carving the runes.

Each rune required a level of magical energy of its own. Generally depending on the expected effect.

Adam had already gotten a good effect on the runes in Madeira, it seemed to be the more, 'simple' part.

To draw runes using ink, it was necessary to mix it with a good liquid conductor of magic, the materials he used was blood. His own blood entered the tests and passed.

Adam still wanted to do tests on other materials such as gold, silver and other miners. But first he would put into practice something that had come to his mind when he thought about how few excellent games that exercised the brain of young wizards existed.

''What should I start with.'' He wondered, letting his body fall back where a cushion transfigured. ''My runes are still very simple, and my magic circuits are nothing more than tricks. So nothing too advanced…"

''A board game sounds like the way…'' he murmured, closing his eyes.

Adam separated his memories into different levels, that way, even if his mind was invaded, it would be necessary to go through several levels before reaching the ones he considered most important.

The secrets of runes and ancient magic lay in a deep part of his mind. But even more hidden were his past life memories. That was, by far, your biggest secret.

''Let's see where I can get plagiarism-, cough, cough. Inspiration''

In this way, Adam immersed himself in the memories that linked him to some game he played. He went through table games, video games, RPGs and MOBAs.

Although he wanted to create a board game, visiting other games would bring him ideas. Adam was in no hurry, and allowed himself to travel through the memories of a life now lost.

A few days later, Adam already had some basis for what he wanted to create, but the search for inspiration was not over yet, in fact, after experiencing these memories more vividly, he extended which memories he would visit.

Thus, not only game-related memories made the list. His mind wandered through the books he'd read, movies he'd watched, and stories he'd heard.

There was a story about a Hobbit and a ring, there was magic in that world, and amazing things were possible.

One about demigods, and a lightning thief.

There was one where the boy called the name of the wind.

The worlds he 'visited' had their own magic, and fantastic beings. There were so many of them, and the magic showed differently in each one of them.

Now that Adam had been a wizard for years, he looked at each of these worlds differently. And what was a quest for inspiration for a game had become an endless source of inspiration for his magic.

So were Adam's days for the next two weeks, he sought a quiet place and lay down, traveling through many worlds. His state was close to sleep, and the dream worlds, a unique state of inspiration.

When Adam finally decided to stop visiting these memories, he had gained a lot. Far beyond what I could earn in years of study in books. Plus many other ideas for your spells.

''These worlds…'' He murmured, looking out the window at the dark night sky and the many stars in its darkness. ''Do they exist somewhere far away?''

That was a question that floated through his mind. I had never stopped to think about it. But his very existence in the world of Harry Potter could be the answer.

Adam closed his eyes for a moment and returned his mind to its usual calm. There was no need for daydreaming now.

Running through the many ideas he had in his mind, he smiled.

''Time to create.''
