he searched for every room for a silver haired toddler and finally found him. he decided to cast a death curse and return . when he saw the kid his face resembles that of Lily potter and looked cute his silver hair . voldemort pitied this kid and cast the killing curse but he didn't expect it to be rebound and hit him immediately he lost his life but due to the horcruxes he didn't leave the world and went to find a body for him while cursing this kid and his mother.

Alex who sensed something woke up to find a dead Tom riddle on the ground . he screamed saw that and sensed a part of soul trying to enter him. at this moment the system sounded.

Alex told them a story that this man suddenly jumped into his room and dropped he is confused at first then he get near to find him dead and screamed. as he told them this the nuns explained it to the police who heard the same when inquired Alex and decided to close the case as a mysterious one. but they didn't know that this incident caused an uproar in the wizarding world and the aurors fiercely captured death eaters and put them on trial when they read that voldemort is found dead at first they thought it is false but the ministry conformed this by bringing his dead body and captured most of voldemort's army some escaped saying the cause as imperius curse and some revealed others identities and pardoned.

the potter's who watched the news becomes happy and excited to bring Alex home and shocked to find voldemort found dead in Alex room itself. so they waited until the muggle affairs calm down and goes to bring him back home

the nuns first against it but listened to the false story of potter's about poverty and pitied them , the potter's donated some money which is nothing to them to the orphanage and convinced the nuns to give them Alex.

when Alex came to know this he is also happy but he decided to act like child and trouble his parents for sometime. when Alex came to his parents his mother Lily rushed and hugged him then continued to shed tears while watching him. this made Alex to let go of his tantrum and hugged his mother and he also cried since it is his first time having a mother's affection. James also came forward and took Alex to his arms , hug him and said,

" sorry son , because of us you have live like an orphan" . but Alex said nothing and hugged his father back.

they soon came to Godric hollow and introduced Alex to Harry who has a surprised look on his face at a sudden brother, Alex came forward and hugged harry saying ," hello brother , I hope we can get along from now on". Harry also nodded James and Lily told Alex to stay in same room as Harry and goes to do some business with the traitor in their circle Peter pettigrew.
