Preparations

The following days after coming back, the Dursley slowly tried to return to their previous attitude with Harry, something that irritated him a lot.

While had had gotten better in the game world, and could probably use wandless magic, it wouldn't help him. Using magic outside of school would be forbidden until he graduated. While he wanted to punish his relatives, there wasn't much he could without getting in trouble either way. The bluff about his magical business could only last so long.

He was already missing the time he spent in the game world. He especially missed the girls, and it was weird for him. They were game characters, fictional people. Yet, for him only, they could be as real as his relatives, his friends, and anyone else. Even the items he had turned into reality.

He wondered if time continued to flow for them when he left. After all, when you're not playing a game, nothing happens in the game. It would be even more difficult for him to consider them as real people, if time stopped in their little world because of his absence.

And thinking about them made him very horny. He vividly remembered the intimate moments he had with them in their little home. He, who had never played with himself before, found the need to relieve himself everyday. Had he been in a home of his own, it would be every morning and every night. Just knowing that the Dursley were in the same house cut his arousal by half.

Still, he had some time to think and prepare. He could feel the power of his world travelling ability slowly accumulate. Soon, he would be able to travel once again. He was in the game world for 7 days, and 7 hours passed in the real world, so 1 day in the game world for 1 hour in real time. He would need to leave for several hours without his abscence being noticed, thus deemed suspicious.

That meant leaving at night, from 11pm to 6am, a time period when his relative never bothered him. He could leave from his room and be back there without disturbing anyone. But he wasn't going to go back without anything. At first, he had though of taking his wand and cloak with him, but he didn't want to risk them being lost or destroyed on the other side.

'I need to go to Diagon Alley, get some money from my vault and buy supplies... A trunk specially for my jump travel, 1 or 2 second hand wands, some potions... What else? New combat spells, of course! So, some book about DADA and dueling.'

He decided to go the next day, and when thinking about how to actually reach the Leaky Cauldron, he remembered he couldn't ask Vernon to take him. He would need to take the bus, and for that he needed muggle currency.

'Right, I'll have to 'borrow' money from my relatives' he though sarcasticly. 'I better exchange some galleons for pounds. A lot of pounds to last me until the end of the holidays... I better learn how much money I have exactly.'

The next day, he left early in the afternoon, having finished his chores early. He had been made to clean the whole house enough (save for the adults bedroom) to have discovered where they stashed some of their emergency money. Once he reached the Cauldron, he only spared a greeting with the owner before continuing to the Alley. He went straight to the bank and waited for his turn.

"Next" said the teller, and Harry stepped forward.

"Good day sir. I'd like to know my account balance first, then withdraw both wizarding and muggle money. Here is my key."

The goblin quickly took the offered key and entered it into a magical device.

"You currently have 47146 galleons in your vault. How much muggle currency do you wish to withdraw?"

"Eh! Hmm" he stumbled, surprised by the amount. "What is the exchange rate?"

"8 pounds for 1 galleon."

'That's nearly 400000 pounds!' "I wish to withdraw 200 galleons and 1000 pounds" he said, presenting his moleskin pouch. "And another moleskin pouch for the muggle money" he added. 'That should be enough... I knew I had a lot of money, but I didn't know it was that much...'

After receiving his money, he left the bank.

He first went to the trunk shop, and got a 3 compartiments trunk that could be shrunk. At first, he wanted a simple one, but he remembered there was a lot of selections, and he intended to do a lot of things with that trunk. After all, he was going to travel to differents game worlds in the future, and try to bring a lot of things. The 1st compartment would be used to store consummable supplies, the 2nd for clothes, hygien and sleeping items, and the 3rd for general items.

Then, he stopped at Madam Malkin's to get himself some proper adventuring clothes. He wanted something stronger than what the game village had to offer. The closest equivalent that the shop had was wilderness travel clothes. For additional protection, there was quidditch equipment: helmet and chest gear for the keeper, gloves, arm guards and shin guards for all players. He had only though about it when he passed the quidditch store on the way to the bank.

Living Madam Malkin's he went to the apothecary and bought a fair amount of medical supplies. After that, he went to a second hand store and got himself his 2 back-up wands. Then, he went to the quidditch store. On top of the quidditch equipment, he also got himself 2 broomsticks good enough for travel.

Finally, he stopped at Flourish and Blotts. He not only got himself books about dueling and defense, he also got some books about dangerous magical creatures and healing. All in, he spent nearly half of his galleons on this little shopping trip.

When he left Diagon Alley, he didn't directly go back to the Dursley. He stayed in London for a little while, and got himself a few proper muggle clothes, as well as a several days worth of food and drinks. For several people. Some would be used in the game world, the rest to make up for the limited amount of food he got from the Dursley.

He was back to Surrey before nightfall, all of his purchases safely stored in the shrunken trunk in his pocket. After taking care of dinner, washing the dishes afterward, and using the bathroom, he secluded himself in his room. The following day was going to be IT.
