Detention

Holidays ended and students arrived. And it was soon Quidditch. But because of the last match, Asshlynn didn't bother to go. She stayed inside her room studying. But when she heard that the Gryffindors had won, she really hoped that she had cursed Harry's broom.

Weeks passed and everything was ordinary. Just like it was before. Ashlynn was alone and was laughed at. But she didn't care like always. She just found it interesting to hear that Harry now slept hugging his wand and watching him checking his food now and then. (Not that he will know if the poison is there.) But one day, something happened. Ashlynn was quietly reading in the common room. It was very late and all the others had gone to bed when Draco Malfoy came into the dorms. When he saw Ashlynn, he flinched.

"It's none of your business…" He hissed.

"Umm… I don't think I asked you anything…"

"Well, if your so curious, your brother and his stupid friends have a Dragon!!!"

"um… Okay…. I hope they get um.. expelled…?"

"You are coming with me to tell them off soon."

"Um…. Why should I do that??"

"Caz… You're good with magic. I mean… I'm better. But I'm not using my precious magic on those rascals…"

"Um.. Okay fine…."

Draco Malfoy had always hated Harry. Ashlynn didn't know what he felt about her though. He never did anything.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------A few days later, Ashlynn was once more reading in the common room. WHen Malfoy came to her.

"It's tonight. I got the blood traiter's note that said it."

"Uh… Good job…?"

Ashlynn didn't know how to treat Malfoy. He wasn't her friend nor her enemy. However, she stood up to follow Draco out.

Once outside, they went towards the tower. Ashlynn had cast the disillusionment charm on herself and Draco. Draco was fascinated but Ashlynn ignored him. She had no idea why she was here. But since she was already out, she hoped to get the Golden Trio in trouble.

Draco and Ashlynn were passing a window when Draco looked at it. He screamed.

"What now?!" Ashlynn said.

"Can't see myself in the window! I'm GONE!!!"

Was he being serious? He was so dumb!

"YOU ARE INVISIBLE!!! did your brain stop working down there?!"

"Oh. Right. Wait what?? How there you! My father is going to hear about this!!!"

"Oh shut up."

But Draco didn't shut up. He kept rambling and rambling until they were caught.

Professor Mcgonagall found them and took them to her office. Ashlynn thought she heard laughing but ignored it. The only words she could think was

'Great… Just great…."

<Draco POV>

Few moments passed as Draco tried to tell her the story. But he could utter a word! How could he tell her that there was a dragon!? Suddenly Ashlynn spoke up.

"I'm so sorry professor. I was feeling very sick. Because I had a terrible nightmare. And I couldn't sleep so I was about to go to the infirmary to get some calming drought when Draco here told me he would help me go there. After that, we got a bit lost in the dark and Draco saw something in the window, probably his reflection and got scared and screamed."

That girl! He Screamed?! Come On!!! But he had to admit. SHe was very good at acting. Even he would have believed her if he didn't know the real story. He didn't like the part about him screaming but since it looked like it was working, he just nodded.

Professor Mcgonagall looked concerned.

"Are you akay, Ms.Potter?"

"Yes. Thank you professor. I guess a walk did all the trick. "

Mcgonagall sighed.

"I understand you Ms. Potter. You did have a good reason so you won't lose house points. However, you and Mr. Malfoy will serve detention with Hagrid."

With that… that Big Guy?!? He was mental!! NO. Everyone was!!

Suddenly the door opened and Potter, Granger and Longbottom came in. They were caught!!! HAHA!!!

<Ashlynn POV>

It was detention. That night, Ashlynn and Draco went out to their detention. It was a bit cold but it was fine.

Draco was arguing with Hagrid that he did not want to go. WHen he realized that this won't work, he looked to Ashlynne for help.

"You Don't want to go too right??" Draco looked at Ashlynn.

"Well… It is DETENTION. And I will go. However, if I die or get hurt, it's your fault Hagrid."

"Wait… We might DIE??"

Hagrid ignored Draco and led them into the forest. Hagrid was splitting the group into two. After Draco had tricked Nevile, Draco said that he would have the dog.

And somehow Ashlynn got into the group with Harry and Draco. Yay….

They walked through the dark. Ashlynn glared at Harry as Harry did the same. Suddenly, there was a dead unicorn in view. A hooded figure was drinking it's blood!!! Who was that guy….

Wait…. Wasn't that professor Quril? She had seen the turban under the hood.

"AAAAAAA HHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!" Draco and Fang ran away. It wasn't really surprising. And since the figure who was probably professor Quirel was coming towards them,Ashlynn turned and started walking while casting the disillusionment charm on herself. Harry tried to follow her but when he could see her, he screamed and ran towards Draco who was running in a distance. Those boys were so strange. Two cowards if you ask me… When Ashlynn turned back, the figure was gone. Ashlynn went closer to the unicorn. The beautiful white creature she had read about in books was gone and there was only a lifeless shell of it. for once Ashlynn felt sorry for the poor unicorn. But when she heard Hagrid shouting her name, she walked away towards his voice.
