"Petrificus Totalous"

Hermione sat beside edward to see what ron can do? But what she did was totally neglecting edward and harry presence. She showed a bossy attitude towards them, she didn't even ask whether she can sit beside him or not.

Edward is actually not angry with her, but this attitude of hers is going to cause so many problems for them in the future. So, he just wants to teach her some manners.

In his previous life edward also used to be a huge fan of hermione and he also one of the die hard fans, who was not satisfied with hermione marrying ron in the final. In this life, he want to change her destiny. Even if she doesn't marry him, he will atleast want to make sure hermione to not marry ron weasly.

Because of hermione's nature for carving knowledge and using spells properly, Edward just want to plant a seed in her heart. So, that he can pursue her in the future.

"Look girl, don't be rude to others, because you want to show off infront of others. It will not only make you arrogant in the eyes of others, but also no one going to be your friends. They will see you as plague, that always want people to run away from you."

After saying that, he looked at the harry and ron, who are still in a shocked state.

"Don't worry, i din't use much magic energy in that spell. It will worn off after 30 seconds and she will be free."

Seeing hermione, who was totally immobilized, Harry and Ron got scared a little towards edward. After 30 seconds, the spells effect got worn out and hermione was able to move and talk again.

"Is that spell.... that totally makes one unable to move or talk? I thought it can only be teaches in higher classes. Let me guess, you are from a magician's family right?"

Instead of getting angry, hermione started to blabber with her tiny mouth making edward amused by her. Of course, he expected this much craziness from hermione.

"I already told you don't assume things with your messy attitude right? First of all let me introduce myself, I am edward kimsely and these two are my friends that i just made. This is harry potter and this one is ron weasly... don't bother with him much. Finally, i am not from a magician family, i am actually from a pure muggle family."

Hearing this, hermione was first surprised by hearing all the names, then she got clear headed and introduced herself.

"I am Hermione granger, i am also from a pure muggle family. Ha.... let me ask you, are you the harry potter that is famous right now? can you show me your mark on your forehead?"

Seeing this 180 degrees turn of attitude, harry didn't get angry by her asking him to show the scar. He simply lifted some hair that are covering his scar and showed her with a smile.

"How can you learn spells like 'petrificus totalous', if you are a muggle like me. We actually can only access to that spell in second year of our course right?"

She asked edward doubting his claim as a pure muggle like her. Seeing this, edward couldn't help but look at ron who was still a little bit scared of him. Ron understood what edwards wants and started explaining to hermione.

"Its like this..."

Ron explained about edward's family to hermione, making her looks like she started to develop a little bit of worship towards edward family.

"C-can you T-teach me that spell?"

Looking at edward, she asked with stuttering, as this is her first time to lower her bossy attitude and ask someone else for help. Harry and ron also looked at him, with almost puppy eyes, making him laugh out loud, especially because of ron's interest in learning that spell

"It's not a big deal, I will teach you guy's once we start the course in our first year begins and we settle down in our classes."

"Observato"

After saying that, he used observato charm on himself and checked harry, ron and hermione's magical cores. He was actually surprised by their cores color, not because they have indigo or above colors. Because, three of them have same violet colored cores, but....

"Harry's and Hermiones are medium violet in color, they are neither light violet nor deep violet. But ron's is actually in deep violet color. From what i observed, amy and jamey have light colored cores, as they just activated their magical cores. Harry and hermiones are in medium grade in color, as they lived in muggle world, they shouldn't have practiced any magic and their cores should have matured naturally. As for ron, he should have been forced to practice magic spells in his house, making his core growth get stimulated by the magic usage constantly."

Seeing that edward was contemplating something, they didn't disturb him and started chatting among themselves.

"I have seen aunt diana's core, her's is actually deep blue in color and have a hint of green mix in it. So, deep color and a mix of next color is the last stage of that colored core, where magicians core will naturally transform to next color. From all the observation, that i had done since i invented obsevato charm, i can finally conclude and also can set a system to this worlds magicians."

At this point, he took out a note book from his luggage and started writing all the important details in his book,

FROM WHAT I OBSERVED USING OBSERVATO CHARM, A MAGICIAN CORE IS ACTUALLY COLORED IN DIFFERENT COLORS. EACH COLORED CORE CAN REPRESENT THE QUALITY AND QUANTITY OF A MAGICIAN. THEY ARE DIVIDE INTO 5 LEVELS FOR NOW,

1. VIOLET CORED MAGICIAN

2. INDIGO CORED MAGICIAN

3. BLUE CORED MAGICIAN

4. GREEN CORED MAGICIAN

5.YELLOW CORED MAGICIAN

Even though i know, the next one should be orange core magician from what i observed in the natures magical energy, i have yet to see a magician with orange core. So, i will only add this upto that yellow cored magician.

As i observed, i had also find out, each magician who are in the same colored core can also have different levels. They are,

1. Light colored core - level 1

2. Medium colored core - level 2

3. Dark colored core - level 3

4. Mixed colored core - level 4

So, a colored core magician needs to go through four levels to transform his core from one color to another. If there are any anomalies in this system, i will amend them in the future.

For example: harry an hermione can be called as ' level 2 violet cored magicians '

Ron can be called as ' level 3 violet cored magician '

I myself can be called as ' level 1 indigo cored magician '

Aunt diana can be called as ' level 4 blue cored magician '

After writing upto that point ,he looked at this three new friends, who at first tried their best to see what edward was writing got shooed away and later they simply immersed themselves in their own chat.

"If i were to apply this new system for magicians in this world, i can definitely become a legend known as 'you-know-who-invented' right?"

Thinking upto that point he was a bit excited. After calming down and placing his notes inside the luggage, he also chimed in the trio's conversation and they chatted happily until they heard a voice,

Someone opened compartment doors and three boy came inside, looking at harry, the platinum haired boy, who looks like their boss asked,

"Is it true?" he said. "They're saying all down the train that Harry Potter's in this compartment. So it's you, is it?"

"Yes," said Harry. He was looking at the other boys. Both of them were thickset and looked extremely mean. Standing on either side of the pale boy, they looked like bodyguards.

"Oh, this is Crabbe and this is Goyle," said the pale boy carelessly, noticing where Harry was looking. "And my name's Malfoy, Draco Malfoy. "

Ron gave a slight cough, which might have been hiding a snigger. Draco Malfoy looked at him.

"Think my name's funny, do you? No need to ask who you are. My father told me all the Weasleys have red hair, freckles, and more children than they can afford. "

He turned back to Harry saying,

"You'll soon find out some wizarding families are much better than others, Potter. You don't want to go making friends with the wrong sort. I can help you there. "

He held out his hand to shake Harry's, but Harry didn't take it. Suddenly someone in the compartment snorted before saying,

"Hmph!! what thing are you? i am harry's friend now, doesn't that meant i am a wrong sort of person here."

When harry is about to say something, he heard edwards snort, followed by his voice. He swallowed whatever words that came to his mouth, he simply stared at malfoy with pity in his eyes. He knew malfoy is going to suffer for real, because hermione just showed her attitude in front of him, he made her bind for 30 seconds and at the same time he warned her. Now, malfoy actually called him wrong sort of people, harry didn't want to think about it. Harry knew that malfoy brought himself a calamity.

While harry pitied, ron was actually overjoyed by the malfoy's bad luck. He was waiting to see, malfoy on the floor. Hermione, simply stood up and indicated malfoy to not cause trouble with edward with her eyes, she thought malfoy was just a bit arrogant and doesn't need for edward to teach him a lesson. She has seen edwards decisiveness and wants to help malfoy.

Seeing all this, malfoy actually didn't go back and took out his wand pointing at edward saying,

"Say it again and i will make sure you will kneel on the floor."

Malfoy said viciously, edward who has expected this from the movement he opened his mouth, has already prepared his wand.

"What the thing are you? i have said it what can you do about it."

Suddenly the tension inside the compartment is increased by a lot, hermione's hands and feet started to flush with sweat, while harry also don't know what to do and ron is the only one who is happy about this development.

"Levicorpus"

Suddenly, they heard malfoy saying levicorpus spell, but before the spell hits edward they heard another spell by edwards mouth.

"Protego"

Edward simply casted a barrier of protection using protego spell, the levicorpus spell got negated even before it reached edward. Malfoy was shocked and was about to use another spell but was interjected by edward.

"Expelliarmus"

The wand in malfoy got knocked out and landed infront of ron, ron simply kicked it under the compartment seats. When edward was about to use another spell, he was stopped by hermione who tugged his sleeves and said,

"You can't use your magic to hurt someone in hogwarts edward or else you will be expelled from here."

Hearing this, edward nodded indicating that he understood. He gave his wand to hermione to safe keep and rolled his sleeves upwards and moved towards terror stricken, dumb trio.

After three minutes, two of the three were rolling on the floor, while one was barely standing. As an external martial artist, who practiced from age four... you can expect what happened.

"Now, i didn't break any rules right?"

He looked at hermione and asked. Harry , hermione and especially ron now confirmed, no matter what they couldn't go the bad side of edward. Not only hermione, even harry and ron nodded their heads.

As they were wearing their robes, they heard a vice in the train,

"We will be reaching Hogwarts in five minutes' time. Please leave your luggage on the train, it will be taken to the school separately. "

The train slowed right down and finally stopped. People pushed their way toward the door and out on to a tiny, dark platform. Then a lamp came bobbing over the heads of the students, and Harry heard a familiar voice: "Firs' years! Firs' years over here! All right there, Harry?"

Hagrid's big hairy face beamed over the sea of heads.

"C'mon, follow me -- any more firs' years? Mind yer step, now! Firs' years follow me!"

Slipping and stumbling, they followed Hagrid down what seemed to be a steep, narrow path. It was so dark on either side of them that Harry thought there must be thick trees there. Nobody spoke much. Neville, the boy who kept losing his toad, sniffed once or twice.

Edward also slowly followed after the group, but what's the interesting thing is harry, ron and hermione slowly followed edward at the back of the group. Edward looked like a leader of the mob, and the three members looked like mobsters following him.

Seeing this scene, hagrid got dumbfounded by the situation. It took a while for him to recover from his stupor and he was quite interested in knowing who that fellow, that even famous harry potter is following as his lackey. He got amused by this scene and continued to say,

"Yeh'll get yer firs' sight o' Hogwarts in a sec," Hagrid called over his shoulder, "jus' round this bend here. "

There was a loud "Oooooh!"
