10 'Experimenting'

"Sorry for the disturbance, please continue with your works."

Realizing that he had done, edward quickly apologized to all the dorm members.

Hermione, ron and harry stopped their practice, as they knew that without proper reason edward never behave like that. They wanted to know, what made edward so excited, that he shouted with joy.

"Tell me edward, what made you so excited?" Asked a voice with a bossy attitude.

Still, hermione is the one that asked without thinking much about her base voice. But suddenly, she realized her mistake and took a step back unconsciously while covering her butt with both hands.

This move of her made Edwards's heart flutter and he smiled towards hermione indicating that he won't spank.

"Was she going to torture me, if I were to marry her in the future?"

Thinking that he shivered a little bit before calming down.

"I have made great progress towards the spell that I wanted to create. You guys already heard me in the morning right?"

He asked with certainty, as this was related to his dignity.

"You mean! after we lost our way to the class, you claimed that you are going to create a spell, that will help us find the routes to class easily right?"

Asked ron with a bit of uncertainty in his voice, as to why edward bringing that now.

"Yup! that's the one, I have made a breakthrough and I am one more step closer towards creating that spell."

Said edward with a proud face on his face.

"Impossible," Said two voices at the same time, making Edwards's mouth twitch with dissatisfaction. Those two voices were Ron and Hermione's. While Harry said nothing and looked confused.

"Oh! why do you guys say that?" Asked edward.

"Even though we can learn spells easily if we have abundant magical energy. Creating a spell meant, creating different patterns in different formations, at the same time we need matching chant. All created spells until now are created with hard work of thousands of years. One at least needs one year to create the worst spell possible, but you just said that you already....."

After saying that, ron looked at edward with a complicated look. Because edward didn't say he completed the spell, but he has enlightenment. That's why he stopped his sentence in midway.

"Even though! the worst spell only needed one year to develop. It isn't something a student like us can be completed. So, you claiming to create a spell is not possible with tiny knowledge you have. No matter what, I won't believe it until you create the spell completely."

Hermione was completely against edward this time, as she gained much knowledge about Hogwarts and magic history! she was completely confident in her knowledge.

"HoHoHo!!!! then let me broaden your knowledge hermione. You walk ten meters away from here and stand while facing your back. No matter what happens, you can't see backward."

Hermione nodded her head and walked ten meters straight and stood there with her back facing Edwards.

"What's this dumb edward thinking, does he really think he can create spells? I thought he was a sensible fellow, why was he behaving like this?"

She started thinking while standing, Harry and ron also want to see what edward is going to do.

"Tracelessio"

After taking his wand, edward pointed his wand to his legs and said a spell, that they have never heard. Then edward started walking normally for the first five meters.

Seeing this harry and ron confused what's edward is doing and what's the weird spell's usage.

But suddenly, they both got dumbfounded by they have seen.

Edward is started thudding his legs for some time and jumped for some time, even when he is just a meter away from hermione, he thudded his leg with as much power as possible.

Later he simply went backside of hermione and place his hand on her butt.

Feeling that a hand was on her butt, hermione suddenly jumped with fright and turned to look back after creating a distance of 1 meter between that hand and her butt.

Seeing that edward was looking at her and smiling. Hermione has the urge to cry, but tears didn't come.

"H-how C-can you be at my back? why can't I hear any sound when you reach me?"

Hermione asked with somewhat stuttering on her voice.

"Edward, is that spell was created by you? I have never heard a spell-like from my parents and siblings. If you created that spell, then I will become your loyal follower. That's not some worst spell you know?"

Ron said with a rumbling voice, as he was overexcited by his friend's talent.

"D-did you say that he created a spell and used just now?"

Hermione asked with horror on her face. She even looked at harry to confirm her suspicions.

"I don't know much about creating spells, but from what you said creating spells is like legend right? Then from Ron's words, I can say that he never heard that spell 'Tracelessio' or something. If that's true, we are already standing with a legend and learning spells from him."

At the start, harry said normally, but as he contemplates and said in detail, he was excited by his friend's achievement. Finally, there was a surprise written all over Hermione's face, making her look like potato thief in "ATTACK ON TITAN'.

Finally, seeing that look on hermione Edward's ego got satisfied. He looked at his three friends and said,

"I am not any legend and you can't reveal this spell to others without my permission, understand?"

All three nodded their heads, knowing that it may create a lot of attention towards edward.

" That spell is called 'Tracelessio', I have only taken two months to create it. This spell not only helps you with silent steps, but also no traces can be found even if you want to create a footprint forcefully."

The three of them looked around for Edward's footprints, as he almost danced on the floor. But they couldn't find any at all, making them dumbfounded.

"I-if y-you can create a medium grade spell like this in two months, then....then you have already got enlightenment for the new spell, that means it won't take a lot of time right?"

Hermione first thought, it is only a low-grade spell at first, but after hearing its other use, she placed it on medium grade spells. Harry and ron also agreed with Hermione's placing that spell in medium grade.

"I think a week is all I need to create this one. So, don't bother about this, for this one week I will appoint hermione as route leader.....but after I create this spell, I will take the lead again. Now.....just remember that to not reveal this to anyone and I will teach you guys with my created spells after you finish learning the current spells. Go sleep early on now.... we have classes from tomorrow onward's"

After saying that he pushed the dumbfounded hermione out of boy's dormitory and rushed harry and ron to go sleep.

The next day early in the morning, they did their exercises. Later hermione led them to their first class of professor mcgonagall.

Professor McGonagall was again different. Harry had been quite right to think she wasn't a teacher to cross. Strict and clever, she gave them a talking-to the moment they sat down in her first class.

"Transfiguration is some of the most complex and dangerous magic you will learn at Hogwarts," she said. "Anyone messing around in my class will leave and not come back. You have been warned. "

Then she changed her desk into a pig and back again. They were all very impressed and couldn't wait to get started, but soon realized they weren't going to be changing the furniture into animals for a long time.

After taking a lot of complicated notes, they were each given a match and started trying to turn it into a needle. By the end of the lesson, only Hermione Granger and edward had made any difference to their match; Professor McGonagall took hermione match and showed the class how it had gone all silver and pointy and gave Hermione a rare smile. Later she checked Edwards and looked at it with a profound expression, as the edward match completely turned into the needle.

"Mr. Kimsely, can you explain how you have turned this match into needle perfectly? Have you Practiced transfiguration before?" She asked with much hope in her eyes.

"No! I didn't practice any transfiguration magic before, but as you said, professor, this magic is really dangerous. But turning a match to the needle is not much difficult, as there are only little patterns that connected to form different formations... After connecting them, all I have to do is pour magical energy into that formation. After that, magical energy will convert wood particles or elements to elements required for the needle. While it's converting, we can manipulate the newly formed elements to the shape of the needle with our magical energy."

Saying that he looked at mcgonagall with doubt as to why she asked such a simple question to him.

"Excellent! Marvelous!! Mr. edward, I have never seen a student who can understand patterns of transfiguration magic in their first class, much less!! you also understood pattern links to form formations. Not only that, but you also understood the entire essence of the process."

After saying up to that, she forced herself to calm down and looked at edward with a bright smile on her face.

"30 points to Gryffindor"

The whole classroom was surprised by the edward and professor McGonagall's interaction.

Completing his transfiguration magic, edward used all his power to push the pin under the desk, where it completely submerged into the wood, leaving only the tip of it to outwards. He poured some of his magical energy into a silver needle and finally turned that tip back to wood.

After the class is done he went to different classes on that day and placed his magic energy on different objects in each class. Of all the classes they have in this term, only dark arts defense and potions class will start next week.

After completing all the classes for that day, all four of them came to the dining hall with great fatigue all over their faces. They don't have much endurance for continuous classes, that will happen at the start of term.
