14 'Destiny'

By the time, edward and other house heads reached Dumbledore's office, they saw filch arranging seats with dumbledore. He also placed some food and water on the table, before taking his leave from dumbledores office.

When he was about to leave, he saw edward walking with other professors and smiled at him with a bit of warmth in his eyes. Edward was actually confused by the filch's actions, even though he knew filch is loyal to hogwarts and would help students in the war to escape! He didn't expect this type of behavior from filch.

From what he knows, filch always act strict to those who offend rules. The filch he know is the filch, that hated students and though students are always trouble makers.

"Observato"

Finding this interesting, edward used his most powerful spell on his arsenal to check on filch. The next moment, he observed filch, he was shocked silly.

According to the harry potter books in his previous life, Filch is actually a squib. A squib's parents are actually magicians, but their children who cannot activate magic are called squibs.

From what he absorb from filch, he actually have a core in him. But, it look like its in a dull state. Filch core is in the color of dull violet and from his observations, he can see that filch is unable to observe magic naturally.

Suddenly, he got an idea and decided to visit filch after this meeting. Thinking upto that point, edward along with other professors entered dumbledore's office.

Gryffindor's House, Inside dormitory.

Percy,ron,hermione,neville,fred,george,thomas,harry.... all of them formed into group and sat with grim faces.

"Do you guys think that professor dumbledore is going to expel edward from school. Its all my fault, i shouldn't have talked that much,dragging edward also into that."

Hermione said, with a bit of tears started falling from her eyes. Looking at this all the members of house don't know how to console hermione. Only ron and harry looked like they didn't affect at all.

"I don't think you had done anything wrong hermione. I think, it is what edward wants..." Saying upto that point ron sensed that all the members in the house, looking at him in weird manner. This make him stop whatever he was about to say.

"Don't misunderstand guys! What ron meant is not expel from school. He meant that, edward actually want hermione to say all those things to professor. From what we know, if edward thinks what hermione says wrong, he should have stopped her before completing. Even though, we have only known for 15 days, we can understand edward better than anyone. I think he definitely allowed hermione to say, to escalate things like he wanted."

Harry said with much confidence, they have been observing edward from the start. He won't do anything unnecessarily.

Hearing this ron nodded his head, indicating that is what he wanted to say with a sigh of relief. Hermione also knows edward character, but a bit muddled as the matter caused by her intervention. After hearing what harry said, she also understood this and started to get into better mood.

"I am definitely going to kill him, he dares to use me for reaching his purpose."

Hermione cursed loudly!! hearing this harry and ron laughed, as they know after seeing edward, she will definitely going to act like a docile animal. Seeing this, the tension in the room also subsided.

Dumbledore office,

"Before we start discussion, take your seats fellow professors and you also sit Mr. edward."

Saying that, he showed them seven to eight neatly arranged seats. Five of them, including edward sat on the seats as instructed by dumbledore.

"Hrm...Mr. edward, i do actually agree with what you say? There definitely is a need for the competition among students for their progress. But are there any ideas, how you can implement this scheme of yours. I want to hear your ideas on how you can actually do this, if you were in my place?"

Dumbledore actually asked for edwards opinion on how he can settle this matter and also quite interesting thing is he actually agree's with edward.

"Head master, i think we can't do this you know? Not only we are breaking rules, we are going to oppose ministry of magic if we do this."

Surprisingly, it is not snape who intervened, but professor mcgonagall.

"Not only that, we are already facing trouble with voldemort. If we were to oppose and gain one more enemy, ministry of magic, as powerful as voldemort. It will definitely be disastrous for hogwarts."

This time it was professor flitwick, who chimed in. Still professor sprout and snape stayed silent, while they were protesting.

"Professor snape and professor sprout, what about you? Do you agree to my proposal or support other two professors."

Dumbledore finally asked the snape and sprout, who are stayed silent and did not express any of their thoughts.

"I think, we should follow what Mr edward said. If we are going to be like this, Hogwarts will not only develop further, it will actually pummel downwards. In the past, there are four magicians as powerful as you professor dumbledore, but now only you can match them. Even voldemort is bit below them, from this we can observe how much magicians are pummeling downwards."

Hearing this all other professors surprised and at the same time ashamed of their inferiority.

"I too support, what Mr. edward said. As said, one can only stimulate their potential by constantly struggling and actively competeting. To say it bluntly, one can increase their potential by fighting with full spirit and can reach maximum potential by constantly fighting at near death experiences."

Hearing this all the professors in the room suddenly strucked by horror. Dumbledore also looked at snape with surprised eyes.

'CLAP CLAP'

"Bravo! Professor snape! I didn't expect this from you. But in this point, i will definitely agree to this point. As for professor mcgonagall and professor flitwick, your views are so wrong. Not only they are going to destroy hogwarts, they are also going to destroy entire magicians in this world."

Hearing this, all the professors including dumbledore frowned by what edward said. Looking at the frowns on their faces, edward sneered at their naivety.

"Professor dumbledore, i want to ask you a question? How long has it been that your magic started stagnating or to say growth is almost negligible?"

Hearing this question, all the people in the room startled. They don't know why they have a bad premonition, that edward will question them same question.

"Ha! Let me ask the same question for you guys too, How long has it been since your progress started climbing downwards?"

Edward didn't let dumbledore to answer and continued to ask the same question to all of them.

"Its been 20 years for me! I thought its the highest a human can actually absorb to their cores."

Dumbledore answered with uncertainty in his voice. He already sensed that edward knows something about his magic from the look on the quidditch field.

That is why, he has been feeling uncomfortable the entire time.

"Mine is still progressing, but a lot lesser than when i am younger. I-is there a solution to this?"

Snape asked with expectation in his voice. he was actually surprised by this boys tremondous knowledge. He actually knows something about their magic energy.

"Mine too"

"Mine also"

All the remaining professors also answered at the same time.

"Before i say anything! I want to ask another question to you guys. How long has it been that you have practiced spells, that are even harder for guys like you? How long has it been that you fought in duels or had near death experiences?"

Edward again continued his barrage of questions, making the professors who have been listening to him to form a cold sweat on their foreheads.

"I stopped daily practice of spells for nearly 40 years? Is practicing spells any use to magic increment?"

Dumbledore asked with certain doubt and at the same time a bit of enlightenment.

"We also stopped practicing spells and dueling a long time ago. As we are already in the school, to teach students, we don't have any near death fights recently."

Professor mcgonagall said with complex emotions on her eyes. Other three also nodded their heads.

"Let it be then!! i will discuss those details later. Then let me ask you guys, one more question! Have you ever believed that we are the only one in this vast universe?"

Hearing this question, all of them shuddered and their legs started shaking a bit.

"I-i-i d-don't think so!! But w-what does that have to do with us?"

Dumbledore asked with stutter in his voice. All of them also nodded their heads with white pale faces.

"Then let me tell you guys, that the day i have joined in hogwarts, My instincts are telling me that this world is going to get in catastrophe by a foreign force. But, i Can't really tell what is that force is actually. If you don't believe me, i can't do much about this. If you were to believe me, I will definitely help hogwarts survive this catastrophe."

Edward is actually telling the truth, that he have been feeling some uneasiness about this from the day he born in this world. He don't know what it is, it will definitely cause great damage to this world. That is also one of his reasons, that he want to get strong as soon as possible and letting harry, hermione and ron to become stronger. So, that they can help him.

Hearing this, all professors in the room fell into deep silence. They couldn't believe what this boy said, but this boy is actually so mysterious, making them unable to say anything.

"Fine boy! I will believe you with this one. Say it me dumb or naive whatever,I will follow my gut feeling that is screaming to listen that boy!! and I actually can't see anything except mystery and profoundness from you. Your eyes, even though they look like hell holes, i can sense trust from them. Tell us what we should do now? Are the enemies really powerful? I mean we also have powerful magicians on our side right?"

Hearing this question, edward sneered at naivety of dumbledore and all other professors were stunned by dumbledores declaration of his support
