"Powers and talents now this sound's fascinating. Please explain these powers and talents. Said Merlin. Not wasting any time, To which Void started explaining, "First, we will go through the talent portion as it is the most simple." With a snap of her fingers, a blue screen appeared with one word, Talent. Each talent will affect different attributes. I'm sure you can figure out what they do." Void said to Merlin, who nodded his head, "Yes, well, it doesn't seem too difficult."
"You be surprised." Void chuckled. "Well, that doesn't matter; you get three points to use in talents, so choose wisely now go ahead and look over them... One more thing to save time, I removed all talents that have no use in your new world like faster cultivation or the better lover talent, ugh, such a stupid talent. I mean, if you need this talent, you don't deserve love!." Merlin "Um, you okay there sound a little mad?" Void "Ehem, sorry as I was looking for a suitable world for you, I saw some idiotic things." Merlin "Well, I would love to hear that story later, but for now, let's check these talents out. Hmm, mental skills, let's see—math, history, science, some basic things I don't need. Ah, here we go, magical theory, herbology, quick and easy languages, charms, alchemy care for magical beast, my goodness there are so many new things I don't understand. For the first time in almost 11 years, Merlin was flummoxed. Not even the space generator did this.
"You look like your having trouble." Void chuckled, being highly amused. "I believe you said this was the most simple part." Merlin rebutted, "But no matter, I'll figure this out. First ill take occlumency because I faintly remember there are mind readers, right." "They prefer the term Legilimens but yes, mind-readers. I must say that is an excellent first choice, but remember, just because you chose occlumency does not mean you'll be a master at it immediately. You'll be born with it, but it'll be at the novice level skipping the beginner level; that's all the talent does it doesn't make it easier; you must still consistently practice it, and unfortunately, this talent is one of the few that doesn't affect both attributes, you understand?" Said Void. Merlin "I see. I quite like that make's it more fun."

Seeing how quickly Merlin agreed, she couldn't help but ask, "More fun. Why's that?". Merlin thought for a second before answering. "Hmm, the best example I can give is imagine being born, and yet you already know everything there is to know in the world. You know every answer to every question. To me, that would be a boring life because the unknown is what gives me a purpose to move forward." Merlin's words made Void realize how right her choice was in choosing him.
As she was in thought, Merlin went back to the talent board. As he was reading through, he stopped on the talent charms. He started to read through it, but when he finished, he noticed something interesting. "Void this charms talent; what effects does it do. Do I chose which one I want it to affect"?. Coming out of her thoughts, Void had already predicted Merlin would ask this question, so she was quick to answer. "No, it affects your mental attributes, but unlike Legilimency, you won't start as a novice. You'll be like everyone else, a beginner. This talent makes creating and using charms easier." Merlin "So it's the opposite of my first talent. Well, from the description, charms are a major focus, so ill skip this talent. Now let's see what other talents there are."
'Hm, I thought he would choose charms. But it looks like he saw through it. Yes, it helps charms become easier, but that's all it does; even without this talent, charms will be easy for him. As it's one of the main subjects at Hogwarts.' These were Void's thoughts so far on Merlin's choices
After a few minutes of reading, Merlin finally found a talent that will be very useful, and just like Void said, it affects both attributes. Transfiguration one of the most dangerous magic art taught at Hogwarts. "From one of the easiest to one of the hardest, I dig it. As for what this talent does, it allows easier focus, and it will also be harder to break your focus, " Void commented. 'Though it doesn't sound impressive, focus can be the deciding factor in a fight.' These were Merlin's thought's on this talent. So he didn't waste any time. "I'll take it." Said Merlin making his second choice. "Don't men of science have good focus? So why this talent?" Even though Void could guess why she'd rather ask him. "I have great focus when it comes to staring at a screen. But this world isn't staring at screens. I mean, who knows if my focus is good enough in a magical fight." Merlin's answer was quite simple; I'd rather be over-prepared than not be.
Satisfied with his answer, Void said nothing and let Merlin continue. 'This is my final talent. Let's make this a more practical one.' With these thoughts in mind, Merlin immediately started to flow through talents one by one. Herbology, History of magic, Animagus, DADA, Dark arts, Merlin went through at least a hundred before he finally landed on one.
"all language," Merlin whispered. For some reason, this talent caught his eye. "Void, can you please explain this talent in more detail.". Merlin couldn't help but ask. "All language can be considered more of a passive skill. It allows you to perceive and learn any language that is spoken or written. Even the most ancient and lost languages are yours to learn. For example, when a magical beast speaks, it sounds like roars, but for you, it will be words." Void answered. "Amazing, truly amazing. This is the one I chose as my final talent." Merlin had no idea why but he felt like this talent surpassed every other choice he had. "Are you sure these are what you want? There is no respect; all choices are final." Void said seriously. "I'm positive these are what I want." Merlin said confidently. "So shall we move on, Miss Void?" Asked Merlin, not wanting to waste time on it.
"If you're ready, then yes, let's move on to choosing your magic powers." With another snap of her fingers, the screen of talents was replaced with a list of magic powers. This time there was both a description and a short video of each power. "Oh man, there's quite a lot of different magic. So how does this work?" Merlin asked. "Don't worry; you only have to choose two this time, one main power and one secondary power." Void said with a smile. "What's the difference?" Merlin asked in a questioning voice after seeing the smile on Void's face. "I'm glad you asked first main power. This is mandatory. The secondary is an optional choice." Explained Void. "That doesn't make sense. Why even have a second choice if it's optional?" This time Merlin asked in a confused tone. "Of course, there is a reason. This is a test. Do you believe you can master both powers and the powers of your new world without throwing one away? Or will you fail? The choice is yours, Merlin." Said Void
"I see quite the sneaky bait. But I'm not so easy to trick. I would be a fool to bite off more than I can chew." Replied Merlin.
"I see that's quite disa..."But" Merlin cut her off. "I wouldn't be a scientist if I backed out of hard work," Merlin said with a laid-back tone. "Your such a meanie." Void said with a pouty face. But still asked, " Tell me, why did you change your mind?".
"So that nobody can say I didn't try my hardest." Merlin paused. "Nah, who am I kidding? I never back down from a challenge." Merlin spoke with a sharp gaze. "hehe, I'm glad it worked. To be honest, this is my first time doing this type of reincarnation." Void spoke with her hands up, shaking her head.
" Looks like a story for another time. Now let's see what magic's I'll get to explore. Necromancy, Elemental magic, Explosion magic, Light magic, Dark magic." Merlin started to list off dozens of different magic types. After about thirty different kinds, "Spirit magic, Food magic, Kido spells. Hmm, why is this one called Kido spells instead of magic? Void". Merlin asked again.
"You know there's a description of what it is right. And a video." Void said with a tired voice. "Ah, that is true." Merlin chuckled well, reading the description of Kido. "I see now this is an exciting path of magic. It has a perfect balance of attack and defense spells. This will be my main magic but tell me, Void, I won't suddenly get spirit power, will I because that would be funny." Merlin said jokingly. "Of course not. That would be stupid. Now hurry up and chose your next power.
10 minutes later
After searching through the list Merlin, Ended up choosing Trap magic. He believed it was an acceptable supporting magic. "Ugh, you finally finished. Has anyone ever told you take forever?" Void complained. "Yes, quite often." Said Merlin. "Well then, off you go." With no explanation, Void clapped her hands, and a black hole started to pull Merlin in.
"Wait, wait, that's it, no explanation of when or where ill go!." Merlin yelled, well, trying to run away from the black hole. "March 23rd, 1979 United Kingdom of Great Britain some random orphanage. That's for having a family. Now have fun." Void chirped well, waving. "THIS IS BULLSHIT!!...T!..TT.T...." Merlin's voice slowly faded until silence once again filled Void's home.
"Do forgive me, my little scientist, but your life will be very harsh from now on, so prepare yourself, and I look forward to seeing you again." Said Void with a sad voice while hugging herself. "Ha, this is always the toughest part letting my children go."
