Harry Potter and The Androgynous Lover's Seduction

Two boys study at Hogwarts, grow powerful beyond the realms of a Light Lord, a Dark Lord or a Grey Lord. They wage war - against others at the expense of each other. They play the games of intrigue and politics. They learn about their true place in the grand scheme of things. Get torn apart and are still brought together at the whims of Death, Fate and Love.  The cycle continues again and again. After all, who said Horcruxes were the only way to live forever? The whole debacle started with a wand. A wand with a brother - shared twin wand cores from an Immortal Phoenix. The Holly represented luck, prosperity and protection whereas the Yew represented power over life and death.  The two people who wielded the respective wands were destined to cross paths due to a prophecy and one of them was supposed to perish the other or die trying. However, one of them made the other a container of his soul for close to two decades. When you mix brother wands, a Prophecy, a Horcrux and a see of otherworldly entities - muddle-headed Morpheus, giddy Love, fickle Fate and a morbid Death - is it really such a surprise that the boys ended up entwined even in death and another timeline? ********* Disclaimer - This is a work of fan fiction using characters from the Harry Potter world, which is trademarked by J. The Wizengamot

Septimus Lucien Malfoy was Lord of The Ancient and Noble House of Malfoy.

He was known in the upper echelons of the wizarding world for his uncanny predatory political instincts.

He talked to every member of The Wizengamot—whether polite remarks to his allies or scathing retorts to his opponent.

He maintained some sort of a talking relationship with all the important members who were the cornerstones of Magical Britannia's government.

Lord Malfoy had decided to use this web of connections to avenge a wrong committed against his son.

He smirked to himself and then stepped through the fireplace to floo to The Black Manor to see and talk to his friend and ally, Lord Pollus Marius Black.

Lord Black greeted him with the standard bow between equals.

"Well met, Lord Malfoy."

After the pleasantries were out of the way, Lord Black ushered him into his study and signalled for him to begin.

Both of them already knew about what had happened in Hogwarts a few days ago.

They had already talked about their approach in regards to this matter.

Lord Malfoy could have allowed Lord Lestrange to come to him at Malfoy Manor and talk about restitutions etc.

But no amount of monetary compensation or deal could in any way mitigate the harm Lord Lestrange's son had made his grandson go through.

He even shuddered thinking about his sweet Abraxas having his blood forced out of him.

Even though he wouldn't do anything to the young Heir Lestrange, he would make sure that he had the elder one pay for the actions of his child.

After all, as they say, education begins at home.

Meanwhile, Lord Black could be seen almost jumping in glee—if rising on the footfall's of his feet every few seconds could be considered as jumping.

Oh!

He had always been more inclined towards political machinations than learning about magic.

He hadn't been the most gifted in his generation in regards to magic but then not many could go toe to toe with him in The Wizengamot Chambers.

It wasn't as if he was happy about what young Abraxas had suffered.

He was appalled and not only for young Abraxas, but he would also have been equally disheartened to know if that spell had struck that muggle-born child.

No child should be subjected to such cruelty.

It seemed that the infighting for the hierarchy inside Slytherin House had turned even more vicious than he remembered from his own time.

No!

It was just that he knew his friend.

Septimus would reign hell in today's session and he was looking forward to it and helping his friend vent some anger on Heir Malfoy's part.

The Wizengamot was truly a place of beauty and magic.

The magnificent domed circular ceiling, upheld by towering pillars so thick that two arms couldn't encircle it. The very air of the chambers pulsed with magic.

It had four tiers of rows upon rows of chairs.

The uppermost tier was distributed into two sections.

The left section was for the general public.

Meanwhile, the right section was reserved for the press corps who sometimes were allowed inside the chambers to view the proceedings.

The third tier was for the Minor Houses of Magical Britannia and the recipients of Order of Merlin—the First Class and the Second Class of which there were far and few.

The second tier had twenty-eight chairs depicting the seats for the lords of the Sacred Twenty-Eight of The British Isles.

Meanwhile, the first tier only had a single chair which was to be presided over by the Chief Warlock of The Wizengamot or in his absence, to be chaired by the longest-serving Lord of Ancient and Noble House in the chambers.

The ground floor had provisions to provide five chairs if a criminal case was being discussed or three chairs if it was a civil case, along with chairs for the scribe who would take the minutes of the session.

Lord Black and Lord Malfoy broke away from each other and took their respective seats in the second tier and waited for the proceedings to start.

Soon enough, the loud thud of the doors was heard and a hush fell over everyone present.

The Wizengamot Session for November had commenced.

--------Line Break--------

All the first-tier and second-tier seats glowed Red for a minute; to show the commencement of the session by Lady Magic and the chairs had their respective sigils of their corresponding Lords glow in colour.

A faint Silver to show who was present and Green for those who were absent.

The first order of business for today's meeting was the ministry's review of the yearly budget.

Some elements of the upper echelons seemed to be hellbent upon culling the monetary aid given to The Department of Mysteries.

Their reason being that since the DoM didn't help in the day to day functioning of the government and didn't help with maintaining the peace and order in peace times, they didn't have an urgent or express need for such large amounts of funds allocated to them by the ministry every quarter.

At those words, Algie Saul Croaker— the Head of Department of Mysteries, got to his feet.

He gave an impassioned speech about the contributions of his Unspeakables.

He waxed lyrical about how they were vital for the continued search and seizure procedures conducted at the borders of their country.

All in all, Lord Malfoy felt that Croaker had played everyone present like a finely tuned harp that didn't need much coaxing.

The 'mysterious, hush hush' aura Croaker's subordinates gave off at all times proved as an asset whenever the high lords and ladies discussed cutting off their funding to DoM.

Ha!

After that, it was the usual chaos regarding different legislative laws or amendments.

Today there were three topics that fell under this category,

The blood donation treaties signed with the Scandinavian Vampires.

The amendment that any magical objects that had a hint of dark magic to them should be handed over to the ministry for inspection.

The Aurors and Hit Wizards wouldn't prosecute the people who brought those objects for clearance.

The Neutrals and The Darks opposed the amendment on principle alone.

Who wanted to hand over their heirlooms to the ministry and open themselves for attacks from others?

Even some of the Light Declared Lords didn't seem to be inclined in favour of the amendment.

After a vote was conducted over the issue and it failed to pass, the bill was sent back.

The person who had presented the bill could either make the necessary changes to the bill before presenting it to this exalted body again or could drop the matter.

Lord Malfoy saw that it was Lord Weasley was the one who had proposed the bill.

So Abraxas was more than seventy per cent sure that barring any unexpected circumstances, Weasley would again present this harbinger of chaos to the floor during the next Wizengamot meeting in December.

Heya Folks

I wanted to explore the Wizengamot a bit. Hopefully, you all didn't find it mind-numbing or boring.

What do you think Septimus Malfoy will do to Lord Lestrange?

On a related note, don't forget to vote and review for the story.

The story is currently at position 4, let's see if we can regain our original third position <3
