12 Gringrotts! (Part-1)

[The Forsaken Magic: An Introduction To The Dark Arts- A book with various spells and techniques on how to master Dark spells without falling into the allure of power.

Min. Requirements- INT 25, Mana pool >50]

'Damn this Observe is useful, I need to see that my INT is sufficient though because this was just the introduction to the Dark arts, I wonder what the requirements to Ritual magic would be.'

I felt something behind me so I turned to see Sirius entering the Library, "You ready for a good day's work?" Sirius asked.

"Yeah! what exactly do you want help with here, and how's your head?" I asked, my head has been throbbing a little since I woke up.

"Of course, I forgot to give you the potion-" he exclaimed, "-It is a simple potion that you take before sleeping and during the night it dispels any alcohol in your body, it's quite good," he exclaimed.

"You and I aren't friends anymore..." I groaned rubbing my head while looking at the next book and casting observe.

[A Mental Mastery: Intricacies of The Mind- A rare book that is deemed illegal in Britain. Has a complete guide to Occlumenncy up to tier 7.

Min. Requirements- INT 15, Mana pool >10]

'Wow, this Library is kind of good, every book here is valuable and almost damn near impossible to buy. Blaise had to wait for 4 months for Daphne to find and smuggle one back into the country.'

"Here give this to Alex" I slid the book towards him, "It will keep her out of the library plus it is one of the good books in here, have you read this one actually?" I asked in the end, 'Maybe he was forced to by his mother when he was younger, he does have some rudimentary Occlumency shields...'

"Oh yeah, I remember this one," his face turned dark, "bitch had me spend a couple of hours a day just sitting there and practicing emptying my mind for months you know, it was so difficult not to curse her looking at her ugly mug..." He was about to start ranting when Alex came into the Library.

"Hey, Blaise!" she replied shyly looking at me and then around the library, "What are you guys doing!" her eyes narrowed suspiciously.

"Hey sleepyhead, is the first thing you do in the morning is to run towards the library?" I walked towards her looking at her messed up hair as she suddenly realized she hasn't looked at the mirror.

"Nah it's fine, you look cute!" I said as I picked up the book from Sirius's hand and extended it to her.

"Just don't spend all your time in the Library and go fly with Evans or Neville okay, here," I handed her the book, "now, do you want to know how to do this..." I concentrated and the book started floating out of her hands, I showed that I wasn't using a wand and Sirius showed that he wasn't either.

"Can you tell what spell this is?" I asked her as her eyes were fixed on the floating book.

"The Levitation spell," She said with an awed look.

"Correct, 5 points to Slytherin, now you see I could cast a first-year spell without a wand, with no wand movement or incantation, do you wanna know how?" I asked as she nodded reverently.

"By sharpening the most important tools that wizards have," I tapped her forehead and then the book, "...If you have the willpower, and necessary concentration then you could cast almost any magic wandlessly, you just need a sharp will, which I know you already have..." I pointed to her heart, "...and a sharp mind that you can work towards, you still have time."

"Plus you have me!" I exclaimed grinning, "The most awesome tutor in the world!" she grinned.

"Now your father and I were rearranging the library, you know your father is such a Gryffindor," I ignored the affronted "Hey!" as if I didn't hear it causing her to giggle, "and he sometimes says things he doesn't mean, we aren't getting rid of any books, cause all magic is precious, it's our heritage which we need to pass on. There is no such thing as Dark or Light magic, but there are dangerous spells in this library," I motioned around us, "They could be dangerous to cast or dangerous to the environment or to your family. I'm just gonna rearrange the library into different sections with increasing order of difficulty, so from tomorrow..." I pointed towards the first bookshelf, "you can start reading from there till in the end you have read the whole Library one by one and you'll be awesome like me!" I stopped casting the spell and the book flopped into her hands.

"Now how about later today we have a little trip of our own and leave this smelly old man of yours and your beautiful mother some alone time. Plus Rose is coming in a few hours and all three of us can have to make a day out of it..." I leaned in and whispered, "I'll even buy you the big Ice cream from Florean Fortescue's..."

"Yeah, we should go, when is Rose coming, forget it, I'm gonna go meet her and we'll wear matching dresses..." she said as she turned away and left with the book hugged to her chest.

"You're good with them, Rose and Alex I mean" Sirius had a soft smile on his face as he stared at Alex bouncing away, "I haven't seen her this happy in a long time!" he said and gave me a grin.

"Now come on you stinky old man we need to go through this, Why don't you and Marlene go with us today, spend a night out, she seemed a little stressed too she could use a night out, plus you could help me keep an eye out on the two of them from far away!" I said moving back to the bookshelf and picking out another book.

[The Celtic rune cluster- A dictionary on all the Celtic runes and known runes schemes.

Min. Requirements- INT 35, Mana pool >20]

"Hmm, this is a good one, I'll look into it later" I placed the book back, remembering its location before moving on.

"How are we doing this anyway?" Sirius asked.

"You go and empty the first two shelves, that would be the first year level material and we need to arrange that first, we can start with the Hogwarts curriculum which I could buy today, then add all the reference books related to it in that section, and then all the books that are appropriate to a first year's mana pool and knowledge would round out the first section." I thought about it as I started explaining.

"Hmm, I have a few good books in mind too that would help Alex understand her theory and Potions better and they should be here somewhere. Seriously, Sirius, your family was so unorganized, there is a dueling handbook here wedged between two books with the darkest curses I have ever seen..." I shook my head and Sirius gave me a helpless look.

'I need to go back through my memories and read all the magical theory books again, so I can figure out loopholes in spells and stuff. Spells I can do instinctively maybe the gamer system is helping me cast spells cause I just need to think and my mana would be used and the spell would be cast, but I need to familiarize myself with theory again so that I can learn more spells. Without needing to call up my memories again and again...'

{28th June 1993}

{Gringotts Wizarding Bank, Diagon alley, London}

{1:00 PM}

"So Rose what do you want for your birthday? I would be in Hogwarts then so I need to prepare your gift in advance..." I said to the little redhead who was walking with me her hand in mine.

"You're supposed to know what to give me that's what Mommy says-" she pouted, "-No cheating!"

I chuckled as I walked into the bank and turned towards a free goblin teller, the whole bank was covered in golden walls, with gold plated floor and columns, in sharp contrast to the white asymmetrical building.

"I would like to talk to Bloodfang," I said directly as Rose stepped behind me afraid of the sharp pointed teeth of the goblins.

"Certainly Mr. Selwyn, " He shouted something in Gobbledegook, and a younger-looking goblin appeared from under his desk and indicated us to follow him.

'Wtf?'

I looked closely not knowing if that goblin was male or female.

'What is this NSFW behavior, what was that goblin doing under his desk? Have the goblins discovered quid pro quo?'

I snickered at my line of thought realizing that I need to unwind soon.

'Hmm, maybe some forays into muggle clubbing are in order, wait were there even clubs in 1993?'

I kept thinking about my trip to muggle London as we arrived in front of a large desk and a goblin sat behind in an elevated chair.

'The goblins have certainly taken a liking to muggle suits, do they have an R&D department too?'

"What can I do for you today Heir Selwyn." He asked.

"I need a ledger of all my current assets that I can move without alerting anyone, and I need a new vault set up, and a few other questions related to the current status of the wizarding economy," I said with a straight face as I indicated Alexandra to take Lily and sit down on the seats along the wall.

'Let's see what do have to work with here...'

AN: This chapter presents a little break from the serious stuff, I'm gonna try and paint an accurate picture of the Magical economy in the next chapter, I have a lot of plans for economic gains, because of Blaise's aptitude and System's help he could modify potions and runes, maybe just not making them taste like shit could be a big selling point!!
