Chapter 5

[POV MC]

"Hello folks !" I had said , waving my hand .

The kids here were looking at me . I wondered for a moment about these little kids' lives .

Afterall how did they come here ? What kind of lives did they have , little kids being away from their families at this age ?

"Welcome ," said one of the kids . He was a skinny guy "I'm called 'beaver' ... Just because I took a bite from that old guy . " he said with a little smirk on his face . He had brown hair and hazel eyes a pretty common look around here , his skin was slightly tanned .His face looked sunken ."I'm twelve this year ."

"Hello , known as snake from now on, I suppose ."

Another kid , a girl this time . A pair of blue eyes and a wavy blonde long hair that goes down her back .

"Hello new kid ,call me 'My Lady ' okay ? I don't like your looks so no you can't be one of my boyfriends . Not that I like any ugly boys from this place . "

"One of boyfriends ?" I said not really bothered by her childish rant , she IS a child afterall .

"Yes , Ağperi [=Web Fairy] said that there was no problem with having a few guys for myself ,so I plan to have a male harem . " She then shivered and murmured "Mom would kill me though ."

Does she even know what a harem is ?

Duhhhh , I said no one was normal here . Damn , I'm always right .

"No comments ," I said .

Ağperi though , was surely a shaman name , female probably .

"Who is Ağperi by the way ?" I asked .

"Hmph , why should I answer an ugly guy such as yourself . "

'Annoying brat...' I thought to myself , an invisible vein popping on my head . 'A punch to face puts the bitch in its place .' I repeated it in my head like some Buddhist mantra . 'Patience' I relaxed finally . 'A kid she is , patience is the answer young one . 'I said inwardly with a Yoda voice in my head.

Another girl came she had rather noticable Asian features . Straight black hair that was coming down to her shoulders . Rather dark brown eyes .

"Ağperi is the one who found us . We were in the same neighbourhood . "

"Oh , I saw her . She was an angel , beautiful ." A boy said from a bit back that was one of the many that didn't come to greet me directly . He was leaning on his bed with his head out looking towards us . "When I say beautiful it's an understatement , " "You really mus... ha.. seen her and ..." "her skin.." "...and her hands too ..."

He was going on . I had to tune him out for my sanity that was quickly vanishing , some milf hunter was born in front of my eyes . I will pray for all the faithful mothers , divines protect them from this monster.

"Say , where did you come from ?"

"How old are you ?"

"Who did you gave the name snake and why ?"

"Who did you came with ?"

"Can you use magic well ?"

Many questions came at me flying but I answered them swiftly, "I'm from the capital ." "Eleven ." "The diviner ." "You saw her bringing me here ." "Yes, probably ."

A few lies there , though no one would notice. I'm not eleven nor from the capital .

Some eyes looked at my side when I said I was good at magic .

And like every other child gathering there were ones that didn't want you . Thinking they are the alpha of some pack , someone that overly attached to this new place that they have just found themselves in.

I was able to feel the rising tension at the coming of five boys . Despite its narrow corridors and strange connection to other parts this place was big enough to accomadete about a hundred children. There wasn't that much kid here but it could probably take that much , not sure about the other parts though . By the way it was probably stupid to leave this much kid without a supervisor .Maybe they were watching the place somehow , there were totems carved into walls afterall .

Now these alphas were facing me while my other new chit-chat friends had scattered around me , creating a little space for move .

These goons , like any other group of child gang had a guy that was too long for his age and the pack leader that was a contrast to him . Three others were betas or something , they would get away as fast as a deer that saw a lion when they were feeling like they were losing .

The problem was the contrast duo . These kind of duo would always support eachother no matter what . I wonder if they had said no homo to eachother before .

The short one started talking in front of me . I thought for a moment before he has just spoken, should I kill right here right now ? Nahh, let's listen first and torture next . I wasn't going to tolerate every annoying kid . Monke be nice , monke treated nice . Monke be bad , monke eat the fist .

"Hello , little newbie "

You don't look any older .

"I overheard that you know a little about magic . But don't play strong here okay . I don't like snakes. Everyone here has a meaning to their nicknames oke , little cunt ?" "They call me jackal , do you know why ? 'Cause I know how to survive out there ." "Will you slither like a snake when you start taking the lessons ." said the short boy .

"I guess it's better for you to learn your lessons starting now, right away ." said the tall boy .

The betas were laughing like hyenas too.

The tall one was raising his hand . His hand that was raised was having a change , it was becoming a bit glossy ? It was having a magical reaction , I had developed some 'Force Sense' afterall .

"Hey guys , let's not do this okay ? " said the reverse harem protagonist . It was surprising she was the first one to have a meaningful reaction besides me . She was darting her eyes between other boys .

"Shut up , bitch . Go whore around somewhere else ." said the tall fool .

"Yeah , go away and fu** your stinky dad . Stinky p***y . " said the short fool .

These boys were pretty foul-mouthed.

"Don't bring him up !!!!! " she said and tried to throw a side kick , but took a magic-powered punch from the tall kid and staggered backwards . She slowly fell and didn't get up .

"No way , she didn't die right ? " questioned one of the betas .

"Nah ,she probably fainted ." said another of the betas .

I immediately turned and checked her breathing , thankfully she got punched in her stomach . Her breathing was rough but she looked fine. Kids were brutal .

"Well , it would be good if she dies . One less whore ." said the short , soon to be dead guy .

"Haha," laughed the soon to be dead tall guy .

Sometimes you shouldn't tolerate someone just because they are young . Sometimes you should just pull the weed out .Sometimes you shouldn't wait for someones' redemption arc and just kill them . Sometimes it's not that hard to see the people that won't change .

I got up , thinking ,

'Hmm , how would it be more painful I wonder . Too bad I'm not that educated in magic . Gotta go the Force style .'

"Oh , look snake is coming to die too. " tall bug talked .

I felt rage gathering , ways of painful deaths finding their ways to my mind . Complex tortures . Then the whispers of madness spiraling towards the deeper parts of my mind . Whispers from my suppressed and not much used side . A darker me speaking in my head .

"Bugs don't make me afraid , they disgust me." I said . Raising my hand with an open palm slowly, pointed upwards ; seeing the bugs slowly seperating from their footholds called ground but still desperately trying to stick back to it .

"W-what,"

"I-ı 'll kill ,"

and some other buzzings .

"Bugs are the best when they are crushed ." remembering that sensation when you go after some annoying bug that was in the room for all the day . Remembering that snapping point when you finally go after it with only one hand and try to hunt it like you were trying to catch a slippery fish . The disgusting smell it leaves on your palm , it doesn't go away even if you wash too if the bug is a bit big .

"Get crushed bugs ." I said , starting to close my palm slowly. Seeing them choke and struggle , it was delicious and I had a big smile . The satisfaction of killing the annoying bugs bit by bit coming to me .

Then I was hit by something , I had felt it . While losing consciousness I had heard two distinct voices . One male other is from a female . Female one was familiar .

[POV 3rd Person]

"Good ..." said the male one , he had a gruff voice . He sounded rather satisfied . He was actually smiling mouth to ears . He had a haunting smile . On his face , there was a mask like Külgöz's but with antlers instead of horns . His clothes was rather strange . It was like an armor made by sewing bones together . His face was painted to full white like a ghost .

"No it's not ." said the female one . It was Yıldızsar . "He was almost killing them ."

"They deserved , if it was me at that age I would later sneak poison to their food though .Kid is clever , made a raw magic power system at this age . His soul looks a bit older , but whatever ." "By the way why the distrust for the kid , frog ?"

"Don't call me frog ! How do I even look like a frog !?"

"Do I look like a Tiger ?"

"Huh , no ?"

"I sometimes wonder how you lived even this long ."

"Ugh, shaddap old bones ," she said then added "About the child ," "He feels like he is hiding something and big sister Külgöz is acting all mysterious too . So it's better to act suspicious with him . "

"Well , they don't call you frog for nothing . Your intuition is strong ."

"Huh , frog means intuition ?"

"Huh ?" "You didn't know ? Really ? 'U could have asked someone else. " again he said "I sometimes wonder how you lived even this long ."

"Shaddap , so what is the secret about him anyway ? Soul thingy ? "

"Nothing too important really ." "I'm sure he would tell you if you can befriend him ."

"All you old folks know something but don't say anything ." she said , annoyed .

She started talking again "Don't you even think he might be one of them , secretly ?" "He left pretty peacefully , didn't make a big fuss , solved the thing pretty fast , didn't break hearts and satisfied everyone ."

"No ," ... "if anything he is the opposite , he hates them. He might even solve the two milenniums old problem ."

"A snake won't go out to sunlight . I at least know that much , everyone knows what a snake is ."

"You are too young ," "a snake paralyzes" "the other one chokes" "but sometimes their strong point is slithering to the prey and gulping it down head to toe and slowly digesting it .In one big gulp ."

"I see , I sometimes forget you are not just straight up evil . But known as dark wise too."

"You make me sad ." "Take the girl and the boy, I will take the troublesome ones . "

And they left the place with other kids around looking all dazed .
