Chapter 20 - Surprise - Smart Boy

As Felix read through the books, he couldn't help but compare himself to the experienced wizards he had seen in the movies and read about in the books. He knew that his knowledge was limited, and he needed practical experience to truly become a strong force in the wizarding world.

He realized that reading about spells and hexes was one thing, but being able to effectively use them in a real-life situation was another. Felix knew that he had a long way to go before he could be considered a skilled wizard.

However, he was determined to learn as much as he could and practice every chance he got. He made a mental note to seek out practical dueling experience and other opportunities to gain more experience and knowledge. Felix knew that with hard work and dedication, he could become a powerful wizard in his own right.

Dumbledore sat in his armchair, his long fingers steepled under his chin. Professor McGonagall stood by the fireplace, her arms folded across her chest.

"I have to admit," Dumbledore said, his eyes twinkling, "Felix is quite the surprise." "He may not look like much, but he's quite intelligent."

McGonagall raised an eyebrow. "What is he doing now?"

"He's in the library, reading," Dumbledore replied.

"The library?" McGonagall repeated, surprised. "What is he reading?"

"Transfiguration, Charms, and Hexes," Dumbledore said, his lips curling into a small smile.

McGonagall looked impressed. "Those are advanced subjects for someone his age."

"Yes, I agree," Dumbledore said, nodding slowly. "He's much smarter than he looks."

McGonagall uncrossed her arms and looked at Dumbledore with concern. "But what about his magical source? We still don't know what it is."

Dumbledore sighed. "I've been thinking about that. It's possible that it's a new, undiscovered source of magic. We'll have to keep an eye on him and see if he displays any other unusual magical abilities."

McGonagall nodded in agreement. "I'll keep a close watch on him."

Dumbledore smiled. "I have no doubt about that, Minerva."

Dumbledore could not help but think.

"He knows that there is a chance that he may be watched and tries to practice without making too much sound."

"He is such a mystery. I can only hope that he will be on the good side and not on the dark side."

Felix, after reading about the three books, spent his time learning about simple magic theories and diagrams. Right now, he wanted to increase his knowledge of magic and spells in general.

It would only make sense to read these things, as every type of knowledge increases his wisdom, which in turn increases his magical power in general. So, in the end, these kind of things are only natural.

Felix read about the magical theories as long as he could, and he felt that he was getting hungry, having spent more than five hours in the library already.

"I feel hungry and tired at the same time."

"But my soul is as happy as it can be because of all the things I learned and read."

"This is a surprise for me as I was never a hardworking student back on earth."
