Escape from Nurmenguard and The Future Apprentice

Gellert Grindelwald sat in his cell in Nurmengard carrying out his sentence for the crimes he had committed. For many years he sat in his cell biding his time to escape. Yes, he knew Nurmenguard was inescapable but he built the damn place so obviously, he could have escaped at any time but he did not instead he sat on the cold stone floor waiting.

For you see Grindelwald was no ordinary wizard he had many magical gifts one being divination the ability to see or predict the future indeed he saw many things his fall from greatness by the hands of his former lover he had of course thought that was it his destiny was to fail in his task for the greater good.

However, he received one final vision one in which he was training a boy with a lightning scar, deep green emerald eyes, and messy hair the very spinning image of Charlus Potter a man who had defeated many of his high ranking officers he tried to make him join but he strongly refused such a shame really but now he knew his time was coming if he could not reach his goals of the greater good then he would have his apprentice do it.

Gellert opened his eyes from his meditation now was the time to find his future apprentice for he had heard the tales of the boy who lived from one of the guards just as he had foreseen in his visions. He stood up and walked close to a certain part of his cell and if one paid attention they would see a bright glowing stone this was a particular hidden ward that would allow Gellert to expel the people who were keeping him in his own prison.

He charged his magic inside the stone and watched as the castle threw every single auror out of his castle, into the bottomless seas, their wands left on the floors, and the gates of his fellow supporters opened they shouted and cheered for they knew their lord would not fail them.

Gellert watched all of this with keen eyes and all watched as their lord began to physically change for the magic stored in the wards of Nurmengard where absorbed restoring Grindelwald's mighty power and of course, no longer did he look like an old man now he looked the same age as he was when he first started his reign for the greater good.

He looked at his supporters with a small smile ¨My fellow brothers and sisters we are finally free and now is our time to return towards our goal of the greater of the good¨ the crowd cheered loudly one, in particular, being Queenie Goldstein but Gellert stopped their cheers

¨But I have realized I cannot do this alone I need an equal an heir to be by my side so I want all of you to regroup at our base in Drumstring while I retrieve my heir¨ many murmurs were passed along and one by one they consented to apparate back to their original place the start of where his campaign had first begun but only two stayed behind his two commanders Queenie Goldstein and Aurelius Dumbledore formerly known as Credence but he had long since foregone that name

Grindelwald looked at his most trusted servants his eyes flickered between brown and silver he gestured for both to come and join him the two nodded and touched Grindelwald's arms and from there they apparated and reappeared in front of a neighborhood that had a number of houses lined up the two moved their hands off Grindelwald's shoulder who looks at the two of them ¨let us make haste there is without a doubt that Dumbledore might catch us in our act¨ Queenie nods and says ¨Of course my lord but if I may be so bold to ask as to what we are doing here¨ although Aurelius didn´t show he to wanted to know as well Gellert's eyes looked at the two with some sort of amusement

sometimes they could never tell what the man was ever thinking about however the unanswered question was soon answered when Grindelwald let loose a wandless bombarda towards a door on one of the houses that held the number 4 shrieks were heard from the people inside the door Grindelwald walked through the house his black trench coat glided behind him as Aurelius and Queenie followed behind him there they saw three people one was a fat muggle the size of a pig, women with a horse like neck, and small mini fat muggle child Grindelwald calmly spoke

¨Greetings there seems to have been a mishap and we are to here to take the child that was given to you back if you would please tell us where he his¨ the fat man spoke first spluttering ¨now listen here you freakshow how dare you barge into our house you sir are breaking an entry¨ Grindelwald's patience was starting to thin clearly these fifthly muggles were trying to stop him.

He tried on sensing the boy he was looking for and there he was inside a cupboard of all places he narrowed his eyes and banished the cabinet door and his ever-shifting eyes fell upon a small scrawny boy with bruises on his body, he had shaggy hair, green eyes that seemed to stare into your soul, black shorts, and a blue shirt, and there he stood his future apprentice who was now looking at him with fear, nervousness, and something akin to hope

he silently growled the poor child was miserable here these filthy inferior beings how dare they do this to one of his kin he bent down and gave the child a hug while Queenie and Aurelius gasped softly at the sight of the boy's appearance Grindelwald continued hugging the child whispering ¨there there child no longer will you have to stay here I am here to help you tell me, child, what is your name¨ the child spoke ¨M-my name is H-Harry¨ Grindelwald did not approve of such a name a name that was similar to that of muggle so he continued doing the one thing he was best at manipulation ¨No Harry that is not your name your real name is Harrison

Harry´s eye widen at that as he continued ¨You see some would consider me a bad man but trust me when I say this everything bad thing I've done has been for the greater good people like them¨ he points at the shaking muggle family ¨are the cause as to why our world is hidden the world of magic¨ he took out the wand he stole from an auror and made a grim made of darkness before it vanished Harry stood silent waiting for the man to continue although he was beginning to believe the man about magic even if he was a bad guy as he claimed to be and Grindelwald continued

¨You see young Harrison these no magi think that they are above us but I say it's time we magi take over to rebuild the world into our image so what say you Harrison join me and together we can change this world one of true peace and equality or you can stay here at this muggle house suffering neglect, anger, sadness, and abuse" he pointed as the Dursley's who looked like they were about to piss their pants finally Harry came to a decision

"alright Mr I'll go with you but please don't kill them" Grindelwald frowned a bit at that last part "My dear boy look at these people more clearly they are pure evil look at them if they continued living it would be more harm you think that they will change by simply sparring them if they harmed you to this extent imagine what they could do your fellow magi kin"

Harry or as he now went by Harrison was confused now he didn't know what the man wanted him to do so he asked "then what would you ask me to do sir" Grindelwald let a sly smile come on to face one that both Queenie and Aurelius knew but they stood silently watching as Grindelwald gave the stolen wand to the child he grasped Harry's hand pointing it towards the family of three Grindelwald whispered a couple of words that would change Harry's life forever.

Later on, the news department and ministry of magic would report a burning house made of blue fire being destroyed, a family of three being found dead within the house, and that all the neighbors saw were several flashes of green light before the strange fire ignited in the house meanwhile at Hogwarts a certain headmaster let out a gasp of horror muttering "No it c-cannot be" for there he saw on a piece of paper with the top being labeled 'Grindelwald Escapes'.

Meanwhile, Grindelwald smiles as his soon to be apprentice asks with a whisper "why did you make me do that" and Grindelwald only says "For The Greater Good" his eye's twinkling between brown and white
