The arrival of the assertive girl disrupted the tranquil night in the courtyard where Alex and Lina had been basking in the aftermath of Lina's enchanting performance. The newcomer, whose presence felt like a sudden dissonance in the melody of the evening, approached them with a purposeful stride.

Alex: Who is she? And why does her arrival feel like a discordant note in the melody of this evening?

Assertive Girl: (*Annoyed*) "Lina, you were supposed to meet me hours ago. I've been looking for you everywhere."

Lina: (*Apologetic*) "I'm sorry, Mia. I got caught up in something unexpected."

Mia, her stern expression slowly softening, finally noticed Alex and Leo.

Mia: (*Curious*) "And who are these two?"

Lina: (*Introducing*) "This is Alex and Leo, my friends from school. Guys, meet Mia."

The next day at school, Alex couldn't stop thinking about the encounter with Mia. He decided to confide in Leo during his lunch break.

Alex: (*Worried*) "Leo, did you notice the tension between Lina and Mia last night? I'm worried something's not right."

Leo: (*Concerned*) "Yeah, I felt it too. Maybe we should talk to Lina and find out what's going on."

After school, Alex and Leo approached Lina in the courtyard.

Lina hesitated, her gaze fixed on the ground.

Lina: (*Reluctant*) "Mia and I...we used to be close. But lately, we've grown apart. She's changed, and I don't know how to bridge the gap."

Leo: (*Supportive*) "Friends have their ups and downs, Lina. Maybe it's just a rough patch. But if you need help or someone to talk to, we're here for you."

Lina's eyes glistened with gratitude as she looked up at them.

As the days passed, Alex, Leo, and Lina spent more time together, both in and out of the music room. They supported Lina through her uncertainties with Mia and discovered that their bonds were growing stronger.
