Chapter 49: Curtana

First I take out Roxanne's new Hard leather Jacket and give it to her. A normal Leather Equipment is just brown but Hard leather gives off almost a black colour.

As she wore the Jacket I took out the new Hard leather Shoes, Hard Leather Gloves and gave them to her. Then I take the Steel Forehead protector and tie it on her head. I pat her head and Roxanne gives me a lovely smile in return.

"Thank you Master for buying all the new Equipments as well as the new clothes for us today" Roxanne speaks with a smile.

"Yes, Thank you Master" Sherry also concurs happily.

"You both have already thanked me when we were at the store"

Next I take out the Steel Chainmail for Sherry. Then the Steel gauntlets and Steel Boots for her. Lastly I take out the Steel Helmet and cover her head with it.

Sherry's Purple Hair is very thick, or should I say dense? As I move the Helmet her whole hair shakes. The Helmet looks more like a lone boat shaking in the sea.

I could see that there is still a considerable distance between the helmet and her scalp. Even without the Helmet, her hair alone would absorb the impact.

"Your Hair is Amazing, Sherry" I said while shaking the Helmet a bit more.

"It's because Dwarves have a lot of hair. Dwarven men gets beards and Dwarven females get a large amount of hair on their head"

"I see"

"I cut it regularly but it grows right back" Sherry says annoyingly.

"Anyways I like it"

"Thank you"

I take out my own Steel plate Armour, Steel Boots, Steel Gauntlet and Steel Helmet. I should buy a mirror so I can see how cool I look with an armour on. When I was a kid I always wanted to wear a Knight's armour.

Still it does feel a little stuffy in this armour. The leather ones felt like I was just wearing a thin shirt but this is like a very heavy sweater. If my Strength hadn't increased because of rewards then I wouldn't just be feeling stuffy.

I picked up the Steel Club which Sherry kept on the side. It was freaking heavy! I could barely lift it with a single hand. WTF! How is Sherry swinging this thing around?

I look at the Club and Sherry's thin arms which had zero muscles. Isekai logic for the win I guess.

Before leaving I explained what the Discount price off and the Purchase Price off skill is to Sherry.

"That makes zero sense!" Sherry said while looking at me with an annoyed expression

'My Bloodline Powers are just that strong I guess' I use my Telepathy party link skill

"How are you speaking in my mind!!" Sherry seems to be losing it.

I calmed her down and explained what the Telepathy Party link is.

"So we can talk to each other as long as we are in a party?"

"Well I don't know it's limitations. You know what let's check it right now."

Instead of starting small I went big.

"You two stay here and I will do another experiment"

I used Warp to the 2nd floor of the Vale's Labyrinth.

'Can you hear me Roxanne? Sherry?'

I am in Vale City right now, that too inside a labyrinth, so this Experiment can check if the range can cover another city and if this works from inside the labyrinth to outside.

'Yes Master'

'Y-yes'

So both of them can hear me. Great! This is like a Phone call but just better.

'Roxanne I am going to swap places with you. Don't panic'

'Swap?'

I activated the skill 'Location Swap'. Before I knew it, I was staring at Sherry and I was inside the small dining room.

"Did you swap positions with Roxanne-san? Is this a Space based Magic?" Sherry asked, looking at me with curiosity.

"Yes, lets go to Roxanne she must be worried"

I used Warp and we went to the 2nd Floor of Vale Labyrinth.

"Master!"

As soon as I came out I saw a relieved Roxanne.

I had to explain to both of them my new skill and its limitations.

"Master can use this Skill whenever he is in danger and change positions with Roxanne" Roxanne told me with a happy smile.

"You know I wouldn't do that. Don't worry I have many more powerful things which I can use to get out of danger" I said while patting her smooth hair.

Now that she is wearing a forehead protector, I can pat her head anytime and even her Dog ears aren't hidden away.

"Still this alone is a very Powerful Skill" Sherry said with a finger on her chin.

"Master, how can you use skills without a chant? I wanted to ask this before when you used Party Formation and Warp" Sherry asks me with curious eyes.

"I can use a Part of my Power to activate a skill called Incantation Shortening and by using a bit more of my Power I can advance that skill to Incantation Omission" I explain it to her concisely.

"I see"

I use my Party Job Setting and change Sherry's Job.

I checked out Roxanne's Status too.

At Least her Beast Warrior went up by a Level due to today's Morning Labyrinth run.

Then I adjust my own points.

As this run is about Sherry gaining 2 levels and reaching Villager Level 5, I adjusted the Exp skills. Roxanne and Sherry would be getting 40x Exp while I will be getting 800x Exp.

I had 119 BP this time. So I reduced one of my Jobs and now I have 5 Jobs active. Because Sherry may get hurt as she is very low leveled right now, I am using Alchemist for its Plating and Monk for its Healing Skills. I used the last extra points in Agility as I was still not used to this Steel Armor.

"Roxanne today try searching for demons who are moving in groups"

"Okay Master"

"I have heard about Wolfkin being able to find demons with their smell, does Roxanne-san have that ability too?" Sherry asked Roxanne in wonder.

"Yes"

"That's amazing"

I also took out my new Steel Rod from the Backpack.

"Sherry I know that you must have explored higher into Labyrinth but now I have changed your Job to a Villager, so even if this only a 2nd Floor you have to be careful"

Sherry seriously nods at my words.

As we followed Roxanne I told both of them about Heal and Plating skill so they could be more at ease.

"It really is Multiple Jobs" Sherry mumbles in thought.

"I want to see your fighting styles in action, so for this first battle I will be in the back using Magic and you two would take the front" I said while looking at Sherry.

"Okay, Master" Roxanne nods at my words.

"I had my doubts when I saw you buying the Magic Rod but it's still surprising that Master has Wizard as a Job too" Sherry said while looking at the Rod I am holding.

"We're here" Roxanne declared as we found 2 Needle Woods in front of us.

"Ah- we really did find them quickly, incredible …" Sherry exclaims quietly.

I point my new Steel Rod at the demons and use 'Firestorm'. Sherry and Roxanne dashed towards them.

The Firestorm died down as they reached the demons. Roxanne slashed her Steel Rapier at the right Needle Wood and Sherry smashed the left one with her Steel Club.

Even from here I can feel the power in Sherry's tremendous blow. Even the Needle Wood got pushed back two steps because of her blow.

I used another Firestorm. Even if they were burning Sherry and Roxanne didn't stop their attacks. Roxanne was dancing gracefully as always, but I could see that Sherry wasn't that used to using a Hammer. She was just waving that piece of metal around but due to her high strength it was still doing considerable damage.

They died when I used a third Firestorm. As my levels are increasing, my Magic Attack Power also seems to be increasing.

"You can really use Attack Magic!" Sherry approached me with sparkly eyes.

"Yes Master is very Powerful"

I just smile at their complements and pick up the drops.

"Sherry, the way you are holding your Club, it would be better to swing it from the right side" I take her Club from her and swing it from the right as if I am hitting a home run.

"If you would like to swing it from the left then you should change your grip like this." I put my left hand above my right hand and showed her a left swing.

The Club still feels heavy but if I use two hands, I am able to manage. I gave back her Club so she could try it out.

"Yes Master, you are correct this does feel much smoother" Sherry says while swinging the club from the right side.

"Alright from next battle we will all be on the front lines. You are still Villager Level 3, and you need to reach Villager Level 5. I have used a part of my Power so that you both can Level up 40 times faster"

"Thank you Master"

We go towards the next demons. This time there was one Green Caterpillar and one Needle Wood.

'I will handle the Green Caterpillar'

I dash towards the Caterpillar with that message. As I neared the Caterpillar I had a weird feeling as if it was gonna jump at me. So mid dash I slashed my Curtana in front of me.

Miraculously the Caterpillar jumped straight into my sword's path and I slashed it in half easily. Was that my skill 'Initial Movement'? This skill is really OP.

Ignoring the drop, I moved towards the Needle Wood. Roxanne and Sherry had surrounded the last demon. Roxanne was dodging and slashing masterfully, while Sherry was hitting it with her Club.

As the Needle wood got unbalanced because of Sherry's blow, I dashed from the side and slashed through its body.

"That was Amazing!"

I looked back and Sherry was looking at Roxanne with stars in her eyes.

"Roxanne-san, how did you dodge all the attacks so easily?"

"It's easy. You just have to look at the monster carefully. After it moves with a 'Fuu', you draw back with a 'Haa'!" Roxanne waved her hands and moved back and forth as if she was dodging the invisible enemy.

"Eh?" Sherry looked blankly at Roxanne's movements and turned mechanically towards me.

'Don't look at me, I am just as lost as you are' I mentally reply to her confused face.

I can even chat privately with any of my Party members.

'It must have been hard for you Master' Sherry gives me a sympathetic look.

I just shrug and pick up the drops.

"Master, are you able to kill the demons with one blow because of your sword?" Sherry asks, looking at the sword.

"Yes this sword Curtana has two skills, 'Attack Power x5' and 'Incantation Interruption'" I showed her my Sword.

"I have read about such Powerful Swords before. 'Incantation Interruption' can be applied by fusing Kobold and Rabbit Skill crystal together, but if I am not wrong then '5x Attack' can be applied only with a high-ranked Cyclops Skill Crystal" Sherry looked at Curtana in awe.

"Now that you are able to use a Hammer properly let me tell you the second condition you have to fulfill for Master Smith's Job"
