Chapter 33: Entering the Dungeon

"Is that Via and Paul?" Celene said as she sees the flying carpet flew past them.

They are now heading to the Dungeon of Nightmares.

Although it was fast and high above the sky, Celene could clearly see them due to her Enhance Vision.

"That direction..." Rey pondered for a moment. 'It is the direction to the Dungeon of Truth.' Then he remembered how he saw Evelyn coming out from Via's room. If they are heading to the Dungeon of Truth, I could find more about them since they are like Jessica. They are people who don't belong to <Dead Fairytale>. But there is a risk that the things that I read from the novel will get discovered. There is also Argaux, in the Dungeon of Nightmares. If I don't help him this time, he might transmigrate to another timeline again. I can't risk that if I want to reach the ending of the story of the <Dead Fairytale>'

"Rey, should we follow them?" Celene asked with worry in her voice.

"No. We will proceed to the plan." In the end, Rey chooses to head through the Dungeon of Nightmares.

Via and Paul landed in front of the National Museum. As they walk through the large white halls and pause at a certain white door.

Via pushed the door. And as if like magic the whole dark place lights up.

'Too bad if I went here first, I might have a lot of antiques right now.' Via looks around and the whole place is really empty except for one that is located at the center of the museum.

A huge empty white canvas was displayed in the middle.

"I saw Frea, Dina, and the lizard entered here. Where could they be?" Paul said as he comes back after looking around.

"It says that this is the Dungeon of Truth, but all I could see is an empty hall," Paul added as he fixes his glass.

"They are here." I stared at the white canvas.

Via closed in to the white canvas.

Letters started to form from it. Paul removed his glasses and rub his eyes then wipe his glasses to check if what he is seeing is real.

"Why are you still surprise with this? With everything that happened so far, you should expect everybit of this things." I said as I look back in the canvas, a sentence in a black ink have already formed.

And it seems the one that the Bereau sent for me is an idiot. His thoughts are very loud like he is shouting already every bit of their plan to me. Well, not that I don't really know. Since I show myself at that tower to that man, I knew that the Bereau will set their eyes on me too.

"Do we need to really enter there?" Paul is sweating nervously.

"Yes, we have no choice. If you want to save those idiots. Don't worry, even if I discover some things about you, I will be open minded and understand everything." I said then I pat Paul's shoulder.

"Well, are you not afraid that some of your secrets might get revealed too?" Paul asked.

"I don't know." I shrugged off my shoulders.

"What do you mean you don't know?" Paul asked confused.

"Let me rephrase my words, I don't care actually about any truth about me." I said with a calm voice.

There is really nothing interesting with my life. After my mother died, father disappeared and my bestfriend died, nothing interest me anymore.

"Because we are friends..." Frea's annoying voice echoed from my ear.

*Sigh* "How did those three entered here in the first place?" I said to change the subject.

"It is Frea. As we came out of Rey's base, she suddenly brought out a magic carpet exclaiming that she saw Spongebob. Dina was able to jump and the lizard too in the carpet. But I wasn't able to. The lizard manage to throw his carpet to me before they rush in. The last thing I received is their text message saying that they are in the National Museum and going to enter the Dungeon of Truths"

"Wait, Wait. How did Frea have a magic carpet?" I asked confused.

"Did you forget, as soon as we arrive at Rey's place, you let her take a hold of your carpet." Paul exclaimed.

I check my inventory and indeed one of my carpet is not there. I smack my head. Why am I so careless? And why is that girl so stupid?

"I thought you say, you shouldn't be surprise with this unexpected things?" Paul said with a poker face. I don't know if his mocking or serious about his question.

"No. I'm not surprised but I am really wondering how that girl become our campus' Student Body President?" I released a deep breath.

"If you got to know her more, you will know that she has an unique way of handling things and charm."

"Yeah. Yeah. Charms." I rolled my eyes.

"You really doubting her, Via." Paul sigh.

"Yep. She already put my life in danger once and now twice. And only caused me trouble tsk. Enough chitchat. I'm going to enter now." I said as look back at the canvas.

"Oh...Then I'll,"

"I'm the only one who will enter here, Paul go to the tower of Bravery."

"Huh?"

"You have already that sword right, <sword of bravery>. There is an item there that could level up your sword."

Hearing the word level up, Paul's eyes gleam. As expected of a gamer. But Paul's eyes changes with worry.

"Don't worry of being alone there, there are other people who would also enter there."

"No, I'm not worried about that, I'm worried about you guys." Paul said as he scratched the back of his head.

"Nahh, we'll be fine. Don't forget to choose the grey lane. See yah later..."
