Hanna was a step away from the stairs when her mind went off for a moment. (...?) She woke up again, with her index finger on the headless man's right hand. A red glow pulsed where her finger was touching. She frowned and tried to move her finger. She sighed and grabbed her wrist with her other hand. "What could possibly go wrong..."

She used all her might to push her finger from the lifeless hand. (How annoying.) Her body wasn't responding to her commands. It was as if she was watching someone else in control of her own body. (Fuuuck... Like, I don't care about this right now! Fuck off, will you?!)

After some time with her immovable, her finger contracted. Her nail perforated her skin, blood started dripping. (Really... Tsk.) Like a lumberjack preparing to cut a log in two, her arm raised to the sky. She did not even try to close her eyes. Her arm sliced down, and her finger pierced all the way through her hand.
