He smiled and laughed as the blood in his veins once more boiled with excitement. the smack he made upon landing mase a gory mess that made the old man of earth enter a eternal sleep and woke up in a new world. Chapter 16 Heavenly Demon Cult.

Chapter 16 The Divine cult.

Though there were still no words spoken between them, the invisible veil was torn and the three others who were with them were moving more politely in front of Ryusen.

They knew themselves that even if they belong in the same main stream of the family there is still a level of difference between them.

Although the three of them held feisty attitudes due to their extraordinary strength they still knew when to show respect to those stronger than them.

Authors Note:

(it has been a long time since I've read Chronicles of the Heavenly Demon so please excuse me if some things are wrong.

Unexpectedly though it seems that the travel they had to do was only one month which is a lot to say considering the distance between Mt. Baekdu and Xinjiang.

On the border of Xinjiang, a bunch of people awaited them, all of them were arranged in a neat manner and we were standing with extreme discipline.

Behind them was a flag that had a figure of a dragon with three heads and three tails representing the symbol of the Heavenly Demon which signifies that the Heavenly Demon is the God of Destruction.

When they reached the group of people, they all dismounted to give their thanks for receiving them.

"Visitors from Hanma it is our great honor to be of your acquaintance." The man in lead said, he was a middle-age man with a thin beard and braided hair. He was one of the thirty Demonic Kings of the cult and as sign of respect to the Hanma he was tasked to receive them.

"The honor is ours." in the lead of the Hanma envoys was a Hanma clan member with a scholarly look, but don't let his scholarly look fool you, he may look weak but in actuality, he is at least at the level of Demonic King.

Scholars and other professionals still exist within the Clan even though Hanma Clan is strength focused.

Hanma Clan is not a clan that disgraces Clan Members who have no talent in martial arts at all, instead, they sometimes nurture them.

Unlike those backward savages clan or sects who disowned valuable manpower due to the petty reason of not being talented enough the Hanma Clan is the opposite, they nurture those who don't have talent in martial arts and let them handle affairs that don't involve martial arts such as foreign affairs, trades, and management. Though the decision still lies at the top they are still extremely useful.

Though it may seem like that, the most untalented hanma you could find is those who are at the master level. Even their servants are master level so you could say that they are not untalented at all the Hanma just have high standards.

But even if that was that, a disappointment is still impossible to be removed since Hanma has undergone selective breeding, so only the most powerful and the most skilled bloodline remains but nonetheless they are not disgraced.

"I am Po Bidao, many call me the Demonic King of Silver Sword and I am one of the thirty Demonic Kings of our Cult and we have been tasked personally by the Heavenly Demon to escort you."

"Oh for such person to personally escort us, it is truly an honor."

"It is nothing."

"Please, guest let us guide you to our humble territory." He said.

"Then I must bother you then." the scholarly Hanma said.

"Haha, such a thing is not a bother." then he turned his head around and looked at the six young adolescents that just dismounted the carriage.

"All of you must be the rising stars of Hanma, it is an honor." He said in a polite manner while cupping his hand.

The rest nodded their heads at the man's words.

"Well then, we should depart now the Divine Flame Festival will start in a week." He gestures at them.

"Men! We move!" with a shout he ordered his subordinate to move.

"Hup!" and so with the Demonic Practitioners in lead they resumes their journey.

After a day of travelling they arrived at a impressively large village, in fact could you even call it a village if it was this large.

"This is the Dandong Village under the territory of the Cult, we would stay here temporarily till tomorrow." With the Demonic King Demon Practitioner escorting them, the whole village held the entire envoy with great importance.

They were given an entire inn to settle in for the night and were also assigned more than thirty servants to serve them.

"I hope this much is enough."

"Haha enough is an understatement my friend, you have overdone it."

After a lengthy night, morning came and so they once again resumes their travel.

On their way, there was none who stopped them, in fact when they saw the flag of the three-headed dragons all of them would kneel and would prostrate in reverence.

So with no obstacles hindering them, it was a smooth journey.

While on the way, Ryusen got curious and asked the Demonic King.

"Can I asked what's happening right now within the Heavenly Demon Cult?"

"Pardon me, young master?"

"I'm just curious, it's my first time going outside. So I'm quite ignorant about what's happening outside the Clan."

"Hmmm." he pondered before answering.

"Nothing much is going on within the cult except for the daily skirmishes we had against the central plain." he said but suddenly he remembered something.

"Oh! I forgot there was one thing that may interest you Young master."

"What is it?"

"I'm sure you haven't heard the new rising star of our cult, he was a newly graduated Demonic Practitioner from the Cave of Latent Demon." then as Po Bidao spoke Fitz got interested and also joined the conversation.

"If I'm correct then it must be the new unit leader of the Charred Dragon Unit yes?"

"That's right Young master." Ryusen looked at his brother in curiosity and knowing what the latter wants he followed.

"When I was on Jianghu, many compared me with the Unit Leader of the Charred Dragon Unit as the new leaders of our generation. So it comes to me that he is the one that he is talking about." Fitz said as he remembered the times he got annoyed because many compared him to the Leader of the Charred Dragon Unit.

"Yes Young Master Fitz is right, that young did a fairly impressive feat recently. He destroyed an entire branch of Murim Alliance in Sichuan and even defeated the First Apprentice of Qingcheng."

"Very impressive for a young man who just recently graduated but quite bold too, I heard he requested the Heavenly Demon to let him train in the Valley of Thousand Spirit."
