4.Golden Child

A loud noise in dorm room number thirteen made Professor Pilius and some of the other children stride towards the room. However, how surprised they were when they saw Yuri and Lolita having a big fight.

"Yuri! Lolita! Stop what you're doing!" The voice interrupting Lolita and Yuri to stop made the two children who were arguing immediately fell silent, they glanced at Professor Pilius who looked very annoyed.

"He started it first, Professor. If you want to be angry, be angry with Yuri, I'm not at fault," said Lolita casually while pointing at Yuri making the boy emotional again.

"How could I be wrong? You came into this room and said that this was your dorm room, I was the first to enter!" Yuri said in a high tone.

Room number thirteen is indeed very nice in terms of the view outside the room, because of that Lolita wanted room number thirteen to be her dorm room even though Yuri occupied it first. Professor Pilius who overheard the small debate felt a little disgusted with the two children who seemed to be making Professor Pilius' days even more chaotic.

"Lolita, come out. Get ready quickly, he's the one who gets the room, choose another room with no less interesting views than room number thirteen," said Professor Pilius making Yuri laugh triumphantly.

Professor Pilius finally sided with Yuri and since then Yuri felt that he was a special child as well as the twenty children who said that Yuri was Professor Pilius' golden child. Alby feels a little jealous even though Yuri is his best friend, but at least Alby wants to be like Yuri who is considered a golden child by Professor Pilius.

"B—But, I want this room as mine, Professor. I will study very hard if this room becomes my room, I have wanted a good room like room number thirteen for a long time, but I am only a child from the lower classes and can't feel a room as good as this," said Lolita with a disappointed face after hearing Professor Pilius ordered him out.

Yuri glanced at Lolita guiltily, she wanted to apologize. However, a sense of prestige enveloped Yuri's heart. Professor Pilius looked at Yuri as if waiting for the boy's reaction.

"R—Really? If you really want this room, I'll give it to you. Sorry for having to argue like this," Yuri said with a guilty face. Lolita looked at Yuri with a sparkling gaze.

"You're going to give it to me? Can I come here?" asked Lolita with a happy face. Yuri nodded quickly, pity made Yuri weak hearing Lolita's sad story.

All the children in the dormitory breathed a sigh of relief when Yuri and Lolita finally found a way out of the problem. Yuri as a boy really looks manly in everyone's eyes because he gave his room to Lolita who is the only girl in the Hankey Pankey Academy dormitory.

After everything was done, Professor Pilius invited his students to choose a dormitory room on the second floor. On the second floor will be dorm rooms and on the other side there are several classes. Professor Pilius actually wanted to separate the dormitory building and the hostel staff building.

However, due to the limited land available, Professor Pilius divided the second floor into two parts. On the east side there are classrooms and on the west side of the second floor is a dorm room that will be a place for children to live while studying at the magic academy he founded.

"Yuri, can you come with me?" asked Professor Pilius saying that to Yuri who seemed still regretting his decision to give room number thirteen to Lolita. This view will never be found in any dorm room, the room is quite special because there is a module for learning magic and the materials are complete.

Yuri nodded then followed Professor Pilius from behind. Yuri didn't know what Professor Pilius was going to talk to him about, while Alby seemed to be still choosing the room he was in and was confused. Alby is not as agile as Yuri and doesn't adapt easily, so he always relies on Yuri. When Professor Pilius arrived at the principal's office, he looked at Yuri who looked sad. Professor Pilius knew how much Yuri wanted in special room number thirteen.

"Why did you give Lolita room number thirteen? I feel that you shouldn't trust a friend especially since he doesn't like you from the start," said Professor Pilius making Yuri tilt her head.

"What do you mean? Shouldn't I have succumbed to Lolita? I believe that he has never experienced such a special room, I gave him that room for only one semester," said Yuri who still hoped that the room would be his.

Professor Pilius laughed at Yuri's very innocent words. Yuri is the image of a child who has not been contaminated with disappointment, Professor Pilius believes that if Yuri was older he would immediately feel disappointed because friendship would be much more painful than enmity with people.

"Being a magician isn't easy, you can't trust the people around you. This is a world of magic, a world of deception, if you just trust people without proving it, I feel sure that you won't be a real wizard," said Professor Pilius making Yuri speechless looking into Professor Pilius' eyes as if he wanted to understand what Professor Pilius was saying Pilius.

"What do you mean this is related to Lolita? Was Lolita tricking me?" Yuri asked with his face reddened with emotion. He wasn't sure if Lolita was telling the truth. Professor Pilius nodded in approval, apart from using magic as a tool to facilitate activities, Professor Pilius could also predict people's hearts even though he couldn't read other people's minds.

"I don't know what Lolita is thinking, but you have to be careful with that little girl because she really doesn't like you," said Professor Pilius earnestly.

"Is that true? Do you know why he doesn't like me? I never wronged him, but he always looked at me with a sour face that made me feel uncomfortable." Yuri said that with an annoyed face considering that it had only been a day since Lolita had become a problem for him. "In this world there are some people who hate for no reason. Maybe Lolita is one of those people who hates for no reason," said Professor Pilius giving Yuri advice so that the boy could see the world from a different perspective. Yuri was silent hearing the Professor's words which made him realize that he had always seen from his own point of view.

"Even if I didn't do anything wrong?"

"Yes, even if you did nothing wrong," said Professor Pilius with a serious face.
