409 Did you know the truth?

"Did you know Xin Mei was not your blood-related sister?" Su Yuchen asked Xin Yan whom he had caught eavesdropping their conversation.

"Are you asking me this question?" Xin Yan chuckled. "I was already twelve when I saw Mian for the first time, with my grandmothers. At that moment, I knew I had to protect her. I was not able to protect Xin Mei but I wanted to protect her. I wanted to make her my real sister." 

"I still remember the time which I had spent with my grandmothers and Xiao Mei when mother was in the coma. She was my power during those sad times. I wanted to make her my family." Xin Yan turned and looked at Su Yuchen with amusement in his eyes. 

"Why do you think she called mother, mother in the hospital after seeing her for the first time? I taught her that. She was not able to remember her real memories so I gave her the memories of Xin Mei. I was a kid and I thought what I was doing was right."
