Hall Of Fame System

The Hall Of Fame, also known as the HOF, is a title given to athletes who have had a major impact or influence on a sport in a particular era. Kein Jr, or more commonly known as Nicolas Kein, has the desire to follow in the footsteps of his father, Anthony Kein, as an athlete to hold the title. It's just that there was a slight difference when Nicolas Kein chose to become a professional basketball player. That did not make his father, a former footballer, angry or force his son to continue on his path. Nicolas Kein went his own way after witnessing the glamour of basketball. He idolised the greatest three-point shooter in history, Stephen Curry. Nicolas Kein's determination and desire was further fueled when his family died in a plane crash while visiting his home country. Much of his father's legacy has been instrumental in his life as an athlete. But his journey has been filled with obstacles that he never expected during his basketball career, in order to earn a Hall Of Fame title like his father. *** The knee injury meant that Kein had no chance of playing in the Finals event that would have seen his team fly to America for the world competition. As a result, frustration shattered his mind and mentality and after his team's losing match, Kein received news from the national hospital that his family had an accident and died. Kein was increasingly helpless in the face of the harsh realities of his life. Losing the match in the final could be reclaimed another time, but what about the lives of their family? As time passed, he realised that he had found a capsule on the table in his room and ate it without regard for his health. Unexpectedly, the capsule flowed into his body and brought up a screen with his identity. ‘What is this? Why is a hologram with my identity appearing in front of my eyes?’ That morning was Nicolas Kein's first foray into the Hall Of Fame as a power-obsessed athlete. Perseverance, rage, and revenge will be guided by the ‘System’ of the mysterious capsule.

Advice in The Early Step (2)

Sherla grimaced and scratched her face. She felt like Kein was putting so much pressure and asking so many questions that she didn't get a chance to speak up. Even so, it was still a patient human considering she refrained from slapping her mouth or leaving Kein after getting twice the profit without giving any input.

"Alright, alright, I roughly understand your situation. But I didn't say much because so far you've kept highlighting the same problems. Unfortunately, that little bit is so fatal that I can judge you as having no talent. Or rather, not suitable to play as a Point Guard.

"Firstly, try asking someone to teach you the basic stages of how to play as a Point Guard. If you're reluctant and have reservations, you can watch video tutorials via YouTube or other apps to analyse the play of someone you admire in person, around you. With that said, you must actually record the action and learn what he does and endeavour to understand his position as a Point Guard.

"Secondly, practice what you see and need to step it up. You should try it before the warm-up or at least Coach Marlon hasn't come to start the practice. Then, practice the moves during the match practice session. That way, you have an idea of the mindset you have cultivated and learnt over the years.

"And... that's probably it for now. For the initial step, you can do what I tell you to understand the basics as a Point Guard. It's never too late and there's no turning back if you want to be like Steph or Magic. They are both at different levels, so I have to force you not to have high expectations because you have a lot of flaws."

After she finished speaking, Sherla immediately sipped her second red velvet latte. Her face was much fresher than before.

"Basic technique training for point guards. I just found out that there's a drill like that." Kein showed his innocent face as if he had not really mastered all the techniques to become a basketball athlete.

"Of course there is. The training of the five positions must be differentiated. It's called special training. So that you can focus on your task when you stand on the court. Coach Marlon doesn't have detailed experience with position-specific training. But that doesn't matter, he has other expertise and you can find what you need out there. The more teachers you have, the wiser you will be in positioning yourself with your experience and knowledge."

Kein's face was still covered in confusion even though he understood everything his assistant said. He tried to digest it despite the short amount of time it took for Sherla to speak up again.

"Don't think about it now. You can keep what I said and try to resolve the matter at a later time. Don't be in a hurry, because it hinders your progress even more when you focus too much on the final result without caring about the process."

"Alright. I understand." Kein finally smiled after he had been confused, shocked, and received a lot of frustrating pressure.

"Sometimes I wonder. Why do you have such analytical skills?"

"It's my job and I'm quite good at it. Unlike those who are born with the stature and talent of athletes, I really didn't expect that because what I have now, it helps me a lot more."

"You can play basketball though, right?" Kein asked, curious.

Sherla's reply was a brief grimace and then looked the other way, trying not to stare and not hear his question.

"What? You can't..."

"Don't continue!" Sherla immediately cut off the conversation with her hand that almost flicked her mouth. "Even so, I still do other sports. I'm just not talented at doing 'ball' related sports. Or rather, I learnt it because I don't want everything in this world to be conquered," she said without any sarcasm.

Kein almost laughed though he managed to cover his mouth and hold his breath to not drop his confidence.

"That's a good decision. Sometimes you'll be a lot more bored if you're able to handle everything without asking the people closest to you for help."

"That's what I meant. For someone who has trouble understanding basic basketball techniques, I think you're pretty smart."

Kein smiled flatly, trying to contain his anger even though he was eager to finish the food in front of the girl.

"Go back to your place. I'll leave after finishing all this," Sherla said before feeding his mouth with a spoon.

"Thanks for your advice. I'll try to call you again if I'm in the same situation."

Sherla choked when she heard that remark. Although she was grateful for what she had received, hearing the same player's complaints over and over again was not something she liked. But aware of her current position, the girl tried to be professional in her duties and still helped them.

Kein left Sherla who was still staying there. His face was so mixed up that he didn't know what to do after this. He tried to clear his mind so that he could sleep peacefully after returning to his room.

During the walk, Kein talked to himself to figure out what he should do in the future even though he had been put off and it was very difficult. After receiving encouragement from Sherla, he wanted to maximise himself to not fall behind his peers. What's more, 40 players registered themselves as point guards in the national competition, about 10 of them.

The possibility of her passing the selection is quite difficult, considering that Gilbert as the captain and in the same position as her, has definitely got a bench to participate in the competition. So far, the coach has not determined how many players he will bring. What is clear is that the competition rules that have been set for a long time limit each team to bringing 20 players.

Even if a team insists on bringing more because the coach believes all his students have great potential when they are in the match, they will still be disqualified from the competition.

Next month MGS will start. Support this novel with power stones, coins, etc. It would increase my enthusiasm if you are interested in reading more about the HOF System. Big Thanks for you all
