Scarlet's POV ...

While l am fixing my things from my two luggage, someone knocked, that is why stopped what I am doing.

I walked many steps to the door because the door is a little bit far away from my walk-in cabinet.

"Hello, Scarlet!"

It was Tyler. Well, I was not expecting someone else to knock and come for this hour. He said to me that he will go here a while ago and I forgot about it.

"How are you? Is your new room okay for you or do you want to go to another room?" He concernedly asked me.

"What? No! This room is very elegant and big for me, and I really love it. I just do not know why this is the room you gave to me. It is like I am the queen of this mansion, and l am not used to it. I think my room should be less luxurious. I mean I am just new here and I am just a half-werewolf and half-human. I think I do not deserve this for now," I humbly said to him.

What l am saying is true. To be honest, I enjoy this room, but I feel a little guilty. After all, I feel like I should not be enjoying it because I am just me.

He laughed because of what I said to him.

"Scarlet, you are a queen here."

"?"

I do not know what to do! My heartbeat is beating really fast and strong and I know that Tyler feels and hears it.

He went away from me and then he smiled. I fixed myself.

"You're so cute."

I just did not mind what he said to me.

"And you know what, I was thinking of putting us in the same room together," He winked.

"Don't you dare think about it."

"Be thankful because I didn't. Of course, I know, and I still want to respect you and your privacy."

I turned my back on him because I can't stop myself from smiling because of him. My gosh Scarlet!

"Why are you still here? I mean I think you checked on me already. I really need to take some rest, and you too." I faced him again.

"Are you making me leave?"

"Of course not, I was just asking you," I sarcastically said.

"I still need to talk to you about certain things." He started talking seriously.

"Like what?"

"Further details about us. Like why we are going to live in this mansion, explaining to you what your role and my role is, what we need to face, and what is our purpose because you don't know a single detail yet and I can see it on your face that you need to be familiarized with it. Especially since you did not understand much about what your dad told you on the night of your birthday about your destiny."
