Chapter 7

I sighed to myself and thought about the situation. If I left her here, she would die of starvation and of I took her with me, I would have to either take her to the Land of Demons, or help her get there.

Both are something which I don't want, but I had to make a choice. Between letting a girl same age as myself die or bring her with me, I obviously chose the second option.

I asked her "Where is the entrance to this thing?" and she replied "There is a cave 10 metres from here, that's the entrance to this dungeon. It is also a huge labrynith with many tunnels. The Uchiha memebers can navigate through it with their sharingan."

I had a better option. I looked at the thickness of the wall and it was completely made of soil, so it is way easier to dig through it, rather than getting lost in a huge underground cave.

I took out two old kunai, which were already pretty damaged from the training and started digging. With my strength, it only took me 20 minutes to dig a hole large enough to fit her.

I brought her out and she looked at me. She asked "Now what?"

"You are asking me? You should tell what you are going to do from here." I said and she requested "Please take me to the Land of Demons. I will get you anything you want."

"Then, I want you to marry me in the future." I said and she immediately replied "Ok"

Is she mad? I said "I was just joking, but you should refuse anyone who requests something like this at these situations. You shouldn't agree, as people who request these kind of things have bad intentions for helping."

"You sound just like a father Insaw back in my land." she said as she chuckled. I sighed and caught her hand. I said "Ok, we don't have time for this. We need to leave this village as soon as possible." and started running, but she couldn't keep up with me.

I looked back and she was struggling to even run. I asked "What happened?" and she replied "They didn't feed me anything for two days. I don't have the strength to even walk."

"Argh....you are already making me regret saving you." I said and picked up in a princess carry, but the situation was anything but romantic. I started running as I carried her and it greatly slowed me down.

When we were far away from the Uchiha clan and I could see the watchtower set up near the house hold, but it was empty at that time.

I was amazed to know that the tower was completely abandoned. I do know that this tower was being manager by the Uchiha clan, but I thought either that old man Sarutobi or that sly fox Danzo would send someone here.

But I guess Danzo is more focused on the eyes he was going to harvest after the massacre and Sarutobi is crying as to how he didn't have a choice in wiping out the whole Uchiha clan.

I hid behind a tree when I heard some footsteps above me and I heard someone shout "Come quickly, Itachi went crazy and he is going around killing everyone."

I then heard three men run towards the Uchiha clan, hoping from one branch to another. They were least bothered about us.

This let us easily pass through the border of Konoha, but I was still worried about the sensory ninjas who would have already sensed is through the barrier around the village.

So, I had to take the long route out, going through many trade routes to Konoha to cover my tracks and blend them with the merchants', as I still didn't know how to erase tracks and all.

It was already morning and I was carrying the priestess of the Land of Demons, Shion, who is sleeping peacefully as I carry her in my arms while also carrying my bag.

I was completely exhausted and I searched for a river. After searching for a few minutes, I found one. I placed her on the banks of the river and walked to the river to wash my face.

My body was completely tired and without sleep, I was struggling to keep my eyes open. And to add more to this shit are the bruises from the training with the Anbu ninja, Yugao.

So, I was in a pretty bad state. I washed my face and sat down near the river, with my feet in the water when I heard Shion wake up and squeaked as she stretched herself and let out a yawn at the end. It was enough to piss me off.

I then asked her, "Do you know how to get to the Land of the Demons?" and she shook her head. She replied "I wasn't even allowed to leave my house. I don't know where it is, but I remember my mom talking to someone about the Land of Rivers, so I guess it is near it."

(I don't know where the Land of the Demons is and I am not in a mood to search. It won't be useful anyways.)

"We will just have to ask around then. I am in no condition to move. We might have to stay here and leave tomorrow." I said and we rested there the whole day and at night, I was pretty healed up and ready to go. The reason I decided to leave at night is because, I didn't want any other Konoha ninjas finding me during their patrol, as they usually patrol quite a distance from the border.

So, after we both were ready, I started walking but I couldn't hear Shion's steps. I turned back to look at her and asked "What happened?" and she said "I still feel weak and I can't walk."

She was obviously lying, as she muched down on five fishes. I wasn't in a mood to argue with her and decided to carry her. Although it is quite taxing on my body, it is way faster than her her running along with me.

I picked her up and started running towards the closest town, which is approximately 4 hours of travel. Shion closed her eyes and I assume that she was already sleeping peacefully while I offered her a ride home.

She then suddenly opened her eyes and screamed "No" as she breathed heavily. I looked at her and asked "Hey, what happened? Are you ok? I think you just had a bad dream."

She then looked at me and said "No, it wasn't just a bad dream, it is the future. You should just leave me here and run away, I don't want you to get harmed."

"What? Who would harm me? And besides, what do you mean by 'the future'?" I asked and she was silent for a while before saying "I sometimes receive visions of the future. I don't have any control over them and they have always proven to be true.

That's how I knew you would pass by my cell and that's how I knew that you are a good boy. Or else, I would never escape with a random stranger. You really need to leave me and run." she said as she pushed me with her arms. She was trying to get down from my hold.

That's when I heard the bushes rattling and could hear footsteps of people.They were around me and before I could do anything, a stick on fire came flying at me. I thought that it was a normal stick at first, but it was actually some weird plant that started releasing some weird gas.

With Shion in my arms, I couldn't cover my mouth on time and I dropped Shion as I slowly felt my strength fading. I closed my mouth and nose with one had. Shion had long lost consciousness and was lying on the ground.

Then a group of people wearing masks, who didn't Look like they were ninjas, walked out of the bushes and one man ran towards Shion while the rest pointed their swords at me. That's when I got a good look at their dress, which looked similar to the ones Shion was wearing.

The man near Shion said "The priestess is safe" and I tried to tell "I wasn't going to harm her" and they shouted back, "Nonsense, I saw how the priestess was struggling to escape your arms and scream 'No'. Don't try to lie your way out of this."

I understood that they would believe me and let me go. So, I gave them what they wanted, a fight. I took out my kunai and seeing me take out my weapon, they rushed at me with their swords raised.

There were more than 10 members and it was something I can't handle in my weakened state. The first person in the group swung his sword at me, which I blocked it with my kunai.

The training with Yugao helped me a lot. As I blocked the swing of one person, another tried to attack me from my left. I pushed back the first person and blocked the other.

They took complete advantage of my weakened state and their numbers. I kept blocking their thrusts and swings at me, but I couldn't block all of them. I still made sure that the ones I couldn't block, don't injure me severely.

I had multiple stab wounds and cuts on my body and I was starting to loose strength as time passed. So, I gave up the stupid idea of fighting and tried running away. They chased me a few metres before returning to Shion to take her home. They had to prioritise her safety, which helped me escape.

"Argh....shit...shit..... shit....shit....fuck you all.....is there no good person in this world?...." I said while I cried out in pain. It is a lot more painful than my muscle tears from my training. I was just lucky that the wounds weren't too deep or else, I would have bled to death.

With my vision getting blurry and my legs wobbly, I just wandered off in some random direction, without knowing where I was going. As I wandered off in some random direction, I found a cave. I thanked God for this and as soon as I stepped inside, I lost consciousness and fell to the floor.

I slowly gained consciousness after an unknown period of time and I slowly opened my eyes, but it was still dark. I tried getting up, but I felt something heavy on me and something wrapped around me.

I tried moving my body and I still couldn't move, but I could still the pain from my wounds. I would have assumed that I was locked up in some room and strapped to some table, expecting some mad doctor to visit me, but although weird, I felt that the thing above me and around me is soft and warm.

I suspected that it was something living. To test out this theory, I used my wrist and moved it around until I felt something and grabbed it. Feeling the softness, I could conclude that it was some living thing, and could also be a human, but it's skin was weird.

I think, whoever was above me, felt that and I could feel them moving as I felt the thing wrapping me get tighter. Slowly the person above me got up and I heard a sweet voice that said "Look, he woke up" and slowly I felt the constraints around my body leave and I could get up.

I got up and first looked at my naked body that was lying in some sort of bed. I then looked around to find the owner of the sweet voice and turned to my side and found a white tail that looked like that of a snake.

I slowly looked up and saw that the upper half looked more like a woman, with pale skin, brown hair tied to a bun and she was also naked.

I turned to the other side and there was another woman with her lower half a snake and her human half had black hair which were messy and free. She was also naked.

My brain went blank. I asked while trembling "Please tell me both happened. Tell me that nothing I am thinking has happened."

The woman with black hair then said "Ara...Ara...how can you say that, after all the things you have done to us." and this was a shock I don't think I can recover in my life. Atleast I don't have to worry about babies, as I am still 10 and even in this world, no testicles start producing sperms before the age of 13.

Seeing me literally petrified, the other woman also laughed out loud. Then there was a weak voice that said "Tagori, Tagitsu, you shouldn't scare him that much." and immediately when they heard that voice, they stopped laughing and got up. They handed me clothes and said "Dress up. The Snake sage would like to have a word with you."

I dressed up and walked into a huge shrine with the walls as the walls of the cave and a huge throne like chair at the centre. Sitting on it was a huge white snake with a cigarette in her mouth.

Seeing the huge snake was a little intimidating and knowing what it can do, from the show, I was evenmkore scared. Seeing me scared, it changed its appearance into that of an old woman and said "Does this make you feel better. So, Hatsuo, welcome to the Ryuchi Cave."
