Chapter 2

Well, I had fun with Choji and how even though he was timid at first, his personality would change when he got angry. I guess, all you need is a friend to bring out the true self in you.

We had fun teasing him. We kept it low as to not personally hurt him while also having fun. Choji also looked cool with it, although he hated being called fat.

After everyone left to their homes, it was just me sitting near the tree, still waiting for the pain to decrease. When I looked at the kids going home with their parents, I remembered my parents from my previous life, who died in an accident two years prior to my death.

I then noticed a kid with blonde hair looking at the kids with a gloomy face. I didn't recognise the kid from the anime and thought he was some minor character.

"Hey" I shouted to him while I waved my hand. It manaeged to get his attention. He looked at me confused and looked around to see if I was talking to someone else.

With no one around him, he pointed towards himself, trying to confirm if I was talking to him. I nodded and signalled him to come here.

He was confused as to what was happening, but still walked towards me. When he got close, he asked "What do you want with me?"

"Nothing, you looked like you were alone. So I called you here hoping you would give me company. You are free right?" I said and he replied "No way am I staying with a stranger after sunset." and paused for a little before saying "but I can stay here for a while." and sat down beside me.

He said "You really are a strange kid. Why are you still here? Why didn't you go with your parents?" he asked in a playful tone.

"I came alone. I don't have parents, but we don't need to go there. So, what's your name?" I asked in return, trying to divert the topic from me.

"Oh sorry. Well, I am Uzumaki Naruto. I am going to be the hokage." he announced as he got his chest with a proud and confident mind.

I was shocked when he introduced himself. He looked different from the show. He didn't have those whiskers like they drew in the show. Except those, he looked the same. I already met the main character of the show.

"Sure you will" I said and he shouted "Are you trying to mock me? Just wait, I will become the greatest hokage and get everyone to recognise me."

"Yes yes. I believe you. So Naruto, where were you going?" I asked and he replied "I was going to the store to stack up on my cup ramen."

I then heard Naruto's stomach growl and I said "Well then Naruto. It was nice meeting you. I won't hold you here longer."

"What's with you? You really are weird. You talk like elders when you are the same age as me. What are you going to do here? Won't you go home?" Naruto asked and I replied "I will, but I can't move now. I will sit here till I gain strength to move."

Naruto got up and stretched out his hand to me and said "Well, I guess I will help you walk this time, weakling."

It was winter and the snow had begun, with the park getting too chilly to stay at night times.

I smiled and caught his hand and got up. He surprisingly managed to pull me up and support my weight. That just explains how his body had already started developing with the help of the nine-tail's chakra.

"You are surprisingly light" he said and started walking, with my arm around his shoulder. He then asked "Where is you home..... wait, I don't even know your name."

"I am Hatsuo and my home is near the Uchiha clan." I said. My house is outside the Uchiha clan and my family had already been kicked out from the Uchiha clan. I only had their name. Without chakra, I don't think I can awaken my sharingan.

"The Uchiha clan. That must mean you are quite close to them." he asked and I said "We don't need to talk about them. What about you? Where do you live?"

He mentioned some building name and said he also lived alone. He then asked in a low voice "Hatsuo, can we be friends?" with a face prepared for any reply.

He had been shunned by the whole village and they looked at him like a freak and a monster. He has experienced loneliness more than me. I guess I can help with that. So I replied "Aren't we already friends?" and he teared up, but immediately rubbed them off his sleeves and said "Alright Hatsuo, since you also didn't eat your lunch, we will have dinner together. I will let you taste the ultimate Naruto special cup ramen." and took me to his house after buying cup ramen in the store. I paid for both of us because he barely had enough money for one cup ramen.

He took me to his house, which was a small cramped one, stinking from all the thrash fallen around. As I held my nose, he said "Yeah, it is pretty disgusting. Let me clean up real quickly." he said and pushed all of the garbage under his bed.

He then boiled water in a kettle and brought it to the table. He then brought out some other condiments and said "Alright, prepare to get blown away by my Ultimate Naruto special cup ramen." and sat on the chair while I dragged myself to the other chair in the house.

He opened the cup and started pouring water from the kettle when his hands shook and he spilt little on his hand. He immediately withdrew his hand and dropped the kettle, which was about to drop and spill all over him.

I caught the kettle and balanced it on the table, burning myself too. We both ran to the tap and ran cold water over our hands. When that didn't work, we ran to the refrigerator and used the ice in it.

We both had ice in our hands as we returned back to the table and looked at each other. Naruto had a gloomy and guilty face, as he messed up. I looked at him and started laughing.

"Crazy, how can you mess up pouring water? pfhahaha..." I said and he was shocked to see I wasn'tad at him. He smiled and said "Thankyou" in a low tone before he also joined me and laughed. He said "You don't even know how to catch a kettle." and we laughed as we both prepared cup ramen and enjoyed the night.

I slept in his room and he had an extra mattress, which was weird. He slept down and offered me the bed. He lay on the mattress and asked "So Hatsuo, how was it like having parents?"

"Well, I only lived with them for two years, but it was good. My dad was quite arrogant around others but he would become timid around mom. As for my mom, she was kind to everyone except my father and her sister.

My aunt was a gambling addict and would loose money everywhere and my mom was forced to clear her debts. As for my grandparents, I never met them. Whenever I asked about them, I would always get ignored." I said, not going into too much details.

Talking too much about family in front of Naruto is like waving a bone in front of a chained dog. You are just torturing it by tempting it.

"What a funny family." he laughed and this is where the fatigue from before kicked in and I went to sleep. I didn't know what happened next as I slept till noon the next day.

I woke up to the warm sunlight falling on me from the window. Since the building was a little tilted, it fell directly into the house.

I covered my eyes to protect them from the sudden light falling on my eyes and let them adjust to the brightness. I got up and looked around, but Naruto was missing. I then walked into the bathroom to wash my face and get ready.

I dressed up and left the house as I walked through the streets, looking at the shops and stalls set up, selling different things from fruits, vegetables and clothes to weapons and explosive tags.

As I walked through the streets and heard someone shout "Get away from my shop you monster."

I went there and found some middle aged man shout at Naruto "Don't come near my store." and Naruto said in a low voice "I was just looking at it"

He grabbed a fox mask and threw it at Naruto. He said "Take this and go away." with the others around him also looking at Naruto with unpleasant eyes.

I walk up to Naruto and helped him up. I said "Don't think too much about these thrash. All they know is blame things on someone. Come on, let's leave." and it looks like the middle aged man wasn't happy with my statement.

He shouted "What did you say, brat?"

I wasn't going to take this shit like Naruto. I picked up a rock and threw it at his balls. I said "Don't treat me like a kid. Just because you are weak in front of a demon fox, don't find other people to take out your frustration." and left the place with Naruto while the shopkeeper was crying in pain with his eggs smashed.

Naruto was sad about what happened. I patted his back and said "You don't have to remember that and think about it all day. You know how when we find thrash along the road, we just move away and close our nose. It is just like that. Come lets play. I will introduce you to some of my friends." and dragged him towards the park.

On the way to the park, I heard some kid shout "Hey freak, where are your eyes." Another kid shouted "No, keep them closed. They are scary."

We followed the voice and arrived at a scene that was from the anime again. I sighed at the sheer stupidity of these characters.

Both Naruto and Hinata had enough power to wipe the floor with them. Ignorance really is a bliss. I sighed and walked up to them and said "Don't you guys have any other work to do other than this."

"Who is this pretty boy? Trying to be a hero?" one kid said and I was again amazed by how they are coming up with these lines.

"Don't try to act tough." one kid said and tried to hit me. A foolish move I would say.

With the help of my training, I was easily as strong as an average adult. I guess this body still has some qualities of a ninja.

I just blocked his punch and returned a punch to his face. He fell down and started crying. Seeing their friend on the ground, the other two decided to gang up on me and we'll, it didn't work out.

A kick and a punch to them was enough to send all three of them crying home. "Mommy..." they cried as they ran.

Their paret can't do anything though. They can't go against the Uchiha clan, nor the Hyuga clan, as it would lead to their instant death.

I then turned to the girl with black hair crying on the ground. I bent down and asked "Are you ok?" and she slowly lifted her head to look at me. She got a glimpse and immediately closed her eyes.

I sighed at the way things were going. I was getting involved in the story without any power to keep myself alive. I then said "If you think you are creepy, they will also keep bullying you that. Just believe what you want and do what you want." I said and this got her to slowly lift her eyelids and although those eyes surprised me at first, they still looked amazing with her cute face.

My statement from before also helped Naruto to get back his confidence. He also got back his mood. I helped the girl get up and Naruto said "Aren't you the girl I met that night." and she just nodded.

I asked "What is your name?" and she was silent for a while before replying "H...h..Hinata.. Hyuga.." in a low voice, barely audible to me. "Huh, what was that? I didn't hear anything." Naruto said in his usual tone.

"Hinata huh, nice name. Do you want to play with us?" I asked, intending to get more friends. As I told you, I was a loner in the village and I won't refuse if I get a chance to get another friend.

She was silent for a while. She then looked down and "Mmm..." in a low voice as she nodded. "Great. Follow me." I said and took both of these half depressed characters to the park.
