Chapter 16

(Sorry for the delay in the chapter release, I was busy and needed a break. You might find this chapter slightly boring, but it will try to make it better.)

"What?! Half a ton!!!! Are you crazy? If you wear those on your hands, they might even tear your arms off." He shouted and went on about how I must be crazy and insane.

I waited for him to calm down and I didn't worry about anyone hearing our conversation, as the shop is very much hidden between many blacksmith's shops and there are many forges with the sound of hammering everywhere.

They would have to enter the forgery to hear our conversation, which they didn't do, as it is difficult to hide in such a small forgery. There is hardly place for a person to stand.

So, I didn't have any worries and said to the blacksmith "I know what I am asking and have thought it through. Just make sure you don't tell anyone that I have such heavy weights, I don't want to ignored by the village again. Also, can you make them as compact as possible?" I asked in the end.

He sighed as I wouldn't listen to him. He thought for a while and said "There is a metal that is very dense and fits the category, but I don't have it and don't have enough money to buy it."

"Then, where can we find it?" I asked and he said "It is mined from an ore that takes 1 week to travel from the village. If you get me the raw metal, I will take care of the rest."

"Ok then, It might take me two weeks to get the mineral. I want you to start making them as soon as I deliver them." I said and left the store.

I know what the shopkeeper is thinking right now 'This brat obviously didn't think it through. Even though he managed to move with those weights without getting hurt, he would weigh more than two tons. He can't sleep with them, he can't sit on a chair with them. The only thing he can do is, sit and sleep on the ground.'

I already knew this and I am aware of the problems, but I can't rest easy when I am still under threat.

With that out of the way, I didn't have much to do. All the genin teams have regular missions, as they get petty missions, which arrive in bulk. The only team that was free, was Hinata's team, as they worked everyday and their teacher Kurenai, decided to give them a day off.

So, with nothing else to do, I thought of visiting Hinata. Although I know that there will be a lot of family drama and shit, I don't have anything else to do.

The Saitama training had reached a level where it wouldn't make a difference even if I did it all day. So, training is out. I might be able to train with Hinata or others in the Hyuga household if I am brave enough to cause trouble.

I made my way to the Hyuga household and the wooden door was closed. I didn't even get to knock on the door, as a man opened it and asked "What do you want?"

"I would like to meet Hinata." I said and it looked like he knew me, or remembered me. He said "Lady Hinata is busy and doesn't want anyone to disturb her. So, Leave."

I sighed and said "I know she is training. Just tell her that I am also here to train. It would help more of she trained with me, than weaklings like you."

"What did you say, you brat?" he said in rage and raised his palm, thrusting it at me. I could easily follow it's movements and dodge it.

He wanted to go again, but he heard a voice from behind say "Enough, let him pass." which made him stop and turn back.

He looked at the person who told that and walked up to him. They both discussed something, which I didn't bother listening, as I was focused on the ninjas following me.

I always had two ninjas following me. I think one ninja is sent by Hokage and the other is a root ninja, sent by Danzo. I did show off a little now, but I don't think that's enough to make Danzo consider me a threat, as the ninja wasn't even serious when he attacked me.

After the two Hyuga ninjas were done discussing, they took me to Hinata, who was practicing, by hitting her palms against some tree trunk with something tied around it.

I called out for her and Hinata turned back immediately. She looked at me and asked "Hatsuo, why are you here?"

The two ninjas left us and went back to their work. I said to her "Well, I was bored and I thought we both can train together."

She smiled, before becoming gloomy and looking at the ground. She said "Hatsuo, I am weak. I am just holding my teammates back. Even Sakura, who isn't from a famous clan, learnt genjutsu in the academy and is helping her teammates, while I can't even defeat a bandit."

I looked at her and said "Hinata, don't worry. I will help you train." she looked up at me, but she was still sad and didn't have much hopes.

I said to her "Just trust me while we train. So, do you have any closed room to train?" I asked and she nodded, taking me to some huge room with tatami mats and there was the smell of sweat that hit my nose when she opened the door.

"This is where we train" Hinata said and closed the door after I entered. I looked around and found a single window, which I didn't close. Closing the window would only make the ninjas suspicious of my actions and would want to know what I am doing.

Leaving it open while we train far away from it, will not make them too suspicious. So, I stood before Hinata near the wall where the window was. We were close to the wall and away from the window, making it a blind spot for anyone observing from the window.

I then said to Hinata "Hinata, come at me with everything you got. Don't worry about hurting me, I can dodge them. Trust me and just give it your all."

I could tell that she didn't believe me, so she ce at me, but not with her strength. She was doing that just so that I don't feel bad. *sigh* that's the problem with Hinata. She is just too kind to be a ninja.

She thrust her palm at me and I could easily dodge it. I didn't even have to use my observation haki or Nature energy. She didn't even want to attack me.

Seeing me dodge it easily, she increased her strength, but would slow down everytime her palms got closer. I atleast got to see the gentle fiat at action. I could feel chakra emanate from her palms, although it was far from the perfect one.

She kept thrusting her palms, but I could see no resolve in her eyes. I sighed and that's when I noticed the door was not completely closed. I used my sensing ability to see if anyone is nearby, and found a girl peeping through the gap.

I smiled at her and I had an idea. I moved back from Hinata and said "If you are not going to take it seriously, I will just have to make you fight me seriously." and looked at the slightly open door and the girl visible through it.

Hinata also turned towards the door and noticed Hanabi standing outside. I rushed towards the door with decent speed and slid open the door, holding my fist up, aiming it at Hanabi.

Hanabi looked at me and was shocked, so she couldn't move. Hinata shouted "NO" and came running to me.

I obviously stopped my punch mid air, which Hanabi seems to have noticed, but Hinata didn't. She rushed to me and palmed me at my stomach and pushed me to the wall, hitting it.

She had her byakugan activated and she said with a serious look "Hatsuo, I will not let you harm my sister."

I smiled at her and said "Don't forget that feeling Hinata. That is the resolve you need to fight." and she was confused as to why I was blabbering all that shit.

Then her sister walked to Hinata and said "Sister, he wasn't going to hit me. He stopped mid air. I think he did that to teach you." and seeing the victim take my side, she finally calmed down and said "Hatsuo, don't play such pranks on me again."

That's when I felt my body become a little weak and I fell to the floor. I didn't loose conscious, but it hurt a lot. Seeing my pained expression, Hinata and Hanabi came to me and Hinata asked "Are you ok?"

I replied "Kind of. Now I got to know that gentle fist works on me. I guess, although very little, chakra does flow through my chakra paths."

"I am sorry Hatsuo." Hinata said in a disappointed tone. She helped me get up and I sat on the hallway kind of thing, which was facing the ground.

I looked at the tree and calmed down. Seeing me fine, she sat down beside me and said "It should heal in a few hours. Hatsuo. I am sorr..." but I stopped her by placing a finger on her lips and said "Didn't I tell I will help you train. Also, I discovered something about myself."

Hinata blushed as she looked at me. Hanabi looked at us from behind and said "Are you flirting with my sister right in front of me?" pushing me away from Hinata.

That's when I clearly saw her. She also cut her hair short and had a bang between her eyes.The weird thing I noticed was that, she looked older than she is supposed to be. In the show, she was five years younger than Hinata, but she looked like she was just 2-3 years younger. I do believe in butterfly effect, but I don't think my presence had anything to do with her father, Hiashi Hyuga's libido.

I smiled at her and said "So what if I am flirting with your sister. She looks beautiful and is kind. A man would be weird if he didn't." while ruffling her hair.

Hanabi pushed my hand from her head and looked at her blushing sister. She then turned to me and said "Remember, me and my sister are born with our destiny already decided and the clan on our shoulders. There is no way you can be with her."

I sighed at this shit. I then turned to Hinata, who also turned sad after she heard her sister speak of reality. I then brought Hanabi to my side by pulling her by her waist.

Her cheeks were red and she shouted " Let go of me you pervert."

I immediately let her go and ignoring her complaints, I said "Look here Hanabi, I not that good with wise words or enlightenment. Just know that the concept of destiny and fate is something only lazy and incompetent bastards made up.

While there are a few things that are beyond our control, there are a few things we can control, but refuse to change them, just because it is very difficult and the consequences are severe."

Obviously Hanabi looked at me like some sort of madman while Hinata seriously thought about what I said. Then I heard a voice from behind say "I would suggest you refrain from teaching them false things."

I turned back and saw a woman with shoulder length green hair and the usual byakugan eyes. She wore a black kimono and an apron. She was behind me and sat down as she handed me and the two, tea.

I took the cup and turned back as I looked at the tree. Hanabi also said "I also think you are just blabbering nonsense. There is no way anyone can change their destiny."

"I don't think you understand properly. I meant, you can choose what you do, instead of blindly following your destiny." I said and she still didn't believe me.

"Let me show you." I said and threw the cup I had in the hallway. I said to Hanabi "I guess my hand slipped. Can you ask your maid to clean it up for me."

I could tell by her face that although she was itching to beat me up or kill me, she didn't want to harm Hinata and Hanabi's guest. She suppressed her anger and went to clean it up.

Hanabi looked at me, demanding an explanation. I said "I know what you are thinking. Now, your maid here could have refused to clean it up and beaten me up but she was scared of the punishment she would receive for refusing to do her work.

She instead decided to clean it up to avoid any further trouble. This is the thing I want to tell. There are things you can control, which you should try and control at any cost, to live a life how you want. As for the other things, that's where the concept of destiny and fate comes in."
