Zoo

Hailey went up the stairs and got dressed while Jeremy waited for her downstairs. She came downstairs in a T-shirt and Jean pant. She also wore a black face cap.

"Shall we go now Hailey? I ain't got all day." He said to her looking at wristwatch on his left wrist.

"Let's go Jeremy." The duo walked out of the house and entered the car.

Jeremy started the car and drove off.

On the way, he kept wondering why she had chosen the zoo. She was matured but to him, she kept acting like a child. This was why he called her little kid. Hailey disrupted his thoughts with her voice.

"Jeremy, let's go to Central zoo!"

"Fine!" He muttered. He drifted to another road.

There were two zoos in their city. Central zoo was the biggest and it was located in the heart of the city while the other was located close to the city's outskirts. The journey to the zoo was a little bit far.

"F**k!" He cursed within himself. He gritted his teeth. He was about to enter the next lane but he was stopped by the traffic light.

"Come on! Come on!!" He bursted out loudly.

"Patience Jeremy! We'll get there soon. I'm not in a hurry." She told him on seeing his frustrated outburst.

The lights turned green and he continued the drive. Five minutes later, they were in front of Central zoo. He parked his car and they both got down from the car. The zoo was a very big one.

Jeremy got two tickets for them and they entered the zoo. There were so many animals in the zoo.

"Look!" Hailey tapped him and pointed at a little boy and his parents feeding a monkey.

"Wow!!" He pretended to be fascinated by it. The day was getting more annoying for him.

"Let's feed a monkey together Jeremy!"

What the f**k! This girl was unbelievable. How could she say that! No! He couldn't and he wouldn't do it. He wanted to say No to her request but before he could say it, she dragged him along. They got to the monkey's cage.

Hailey brought out a bunch of bananas which she had bought from a fruit store nearby. She gave him a banana which he nonchalantly peeled and gave it back to her.

"No Jeremy! You're gonna help me feed the monkey!"

Could this day get any worse? Jeremy fro we need at her statement but she didn't care. She gave the monkey a banana. The monkey ate it up and looked at her expecting another one.

"It wants another one. You try Jeremy. It's easy!" She didn't want to let him go.

Unable to resist her request. Jeremy did it and the monkey ate it. The duo fedd the monkey until the bananas were exhausted. They left the monkey.

"You were nice to that monkey!"

"Because of you. I'm not so friendly with animals!"

"Thank you!" She said and gave him a peck on his cheek. He flashed a smirk and looked at her.

"You're welcome Hailey!”
