27 Golden Week Training Camp (2)
As the door to the gymnasium opened up, the group of players wear black jacket walked in as they shouted, "THANK YOU FOR HAVING US!"
"Oh? aren't you a bit early?....to taste my sexy no jutsu that is ...keuh keuh keuh" Nekomata came out and greet the newly arrived team with a smile
"We started our journey a bit early, but anyways, is the camp starting yet?" Ukai asked while ignoring the last part
"No, we're waiting for one more team to arrive before starting, and... oh? You brought your grandkid?" Nekomata asked as he looked at Keishin Ukai standing next to Takeda
"Yeah, he's here to help out, my damn age is catching up to me" Ukai said as he scratch the back of his head
"Ah Nekomata-sensei, do you happen to know where my Benchwarmer club bro is at? I heard he started coaching the players of Nekoma" Keishin suddenly asked
"Ah...oh you must be talking about Manabu, he's running some errands for me, he'll be here in a few hours or so" Nekomata answered
"Oya?~ so this is the new Karasuno team?" Kuroo spoke as he walked over to greet Karasuno along with Nekoma and Fukurodani
When Kyouko came in sight of the Karasuno team, Tanaka immediately shouted and ran towards the Nekoma team, "UWAh-" but then was suddenly stopped by Nishinoya who shuted him up and pulled him back to whisper something
"Oi Ryuu, I forgot to tell you something, she's taken, don't try anything with Nekoma's manager unless you want to be bodied by Shou-senpai..." Nishinoya quickly whispered
"O-oh... g-got it" Tanaka whispered back as he felt like he had dodged a bullet
"The name is Kuroo Tetsurou, captain of Nekoma, thanks for coming to our training camp" Kuroo said with a bright smile as he held his hand out for a handshake
"It's Sawamura Daichi, thanks for having us" Daichi said with a brighter smile as he took the handshake

"..."
'Ah... this guy is the crafty type...' they both thought as they maintain their smile
"HEY, HEY, HEY DON'T FORGET ABOUT ME!!" Bokuto shouted as he was about to jump in front of Kuroo and Daichi but was suddenly stopped by Kazuto who held him from behind
"Sorry about that, this guy is Bokuto Koutarou, he's our captain" Kazuto apologized as he introduced Bokuto
The team started introducing each other and in the middle of it
"U-Uh UWAAHHHHH A-A Beautiful ... g-girl.. m-manager" Yamamoto suddenly grasped his heart as Shimizu came into sight
"OI... Don't bother our manager shithead..." Tanaka suddenly said as he stood in front of Yamamoto
"Ha? You tryna pick a fight?" Yamamoto said as he glared at Tanaka
"Ha? You were the one pickin a fight, City Boy!"
"Tanaka, stop doing that, and what's with the 'City Boy'? You sound stupid" Sugawara spoke as he sighed
"Yamamoto, stop picking a fight, unless you want ass whooping, and you also sound and look stupid" Yaku sighed
The two immediately stopped the glare and stood there with a depressed look
"Haizz sorry about that" Yaku apologized as he scratched his head
"No no I should be the one being sorry, he's a bit too much" Sugawara also apologized
"AH YAKU-SAN! I haven't seen you in a long time!" Nishinoya said excitedly as he walked up to the duo
"Oh Noya! How have you been?" Yaku asked
"Pretty good! Why were you not at the gathering last time?"
"Oh I was busy helping my uncle"
"Nishinoya, you know him?" Sugawara suddenly asked
"Yeah Yaku-san here is a very good libero!"
"That's just a stretch, I can't be compared to Noya or Kazuto" Yaku spoke while scratching his head
"HEY HEY YOU GUYS DO YOU WANNA JOIN US IN SOME PRACTICE!?!" Bokuto shouted
"Bokuto-san they haven't put their belonging down yet, please calm down" Akaashi spoke calmly
"YEAH!! I WANNA JOIN!!" Hinata shouted back as he dropped his belonging and ran towards Bokuto
"THAT'S THE SPIRIT, WHAT'S YOUR NAME CHIBI-CHAN?!"
"IT'S HINATA SHOYOU!"
"ALRIGHT LET'S GO HINATA, THIS BOKUTO IS GOING TRAIN YOU!"
"YEAH!!!"
They both shouted as they ran to the court
"This dumbass..."Shou sighed as he took a volleyball and spiked it, the flew at high speed towards Bokuto's head and knocked him out
"UWAHHH!!! BOKUTO-SAN!!" Hinata shouted as he watch Bokuto get knocked out
"HINATA YOU DUMBASS DON'T JUST LEAVE YOUR BAGS HERE!" Kageyama shouted as he threw Hinata bag at Hinata's face
"OUCH! What was that for?!?"
"Hey! Stop that Hinata! Kageyama!" Daichi shouted
"Hmm a little warm up should be fine, you guys wanna join?" Kuroo suggested
"Hmm sure.." Daichi then turn to the rest of his team and spoke, "There's still some time till the other teams arrive, after putting down your belongings and you can either rest or join them if you want!"
"Yes! Captain!"
After the that the coaches went out to talk, while Karasuno put down their belongings and Hinata, Kageyama, and Nishinoya decided to join them in their 'warm up'
"Hmmm there's 8 of us, let's do some 4v4 match" Kuroo suggested
"Oi Bokuto! You Join the Karasuno's team" Kazuto said as he took Bokuto and walked over to the Karasuno team and put him down before going back
"Oi oi! hold on let me be the ref!" A voice sounded and the players turned their head towards that direction
And immediately Kageyama's eyes widen as he thought, 'Isn't that Kirigawa Katsuki, the crazy versatile rookie??'
"Sure, now... Noya-chan you guys can serve first" Kuroo said as he threw the ball at Nishinoya
"Kageyama, you serve" Nishinoya said as he threw the ball to Kageyama
"Ah... Yes" Kageyama said as he took the ball and walked to the service line
Kageyama threw the ball up, did his approach, and kicked off the ground
When the ball is in the perfect position, he slammed his hand into the ball causing the fly at high speed towards Kazuto
"Heh?... not bad.." Kazuto muttered with a smile, "but, still too weak..."
Kazuto calmly lowered himself and stretched out his arms, the ball flew and made contact with his arm before flying back into the air losing all of its spin, a perfect receive
"Shou-san!" Akaashi shouted as he jumped up and set a high and close ball for Shou
"Hey hey Hinata! Get ready!" Bokuto shouted as he got ready to block with Hinata
"Ahhh Hai!" Hinata shouted with a hint of nervousness in his voice
Shou ran and did his approach, then kicked off the ground with thunderous boom and met with a two man block consist of Bokuto and Hinata
"Geh!!" Hinata unconsciously shouted as he watch Shou ascend above the blocks
Shou then slammed his hand into the ball causing it to immediately vanish and appeared directly in front of Nishinoya
"GRR" Nishinoya clenched his teeth as he swiftly stretched his platform out, the ball made contact with his arms before flying high up towards the back of the court
"Shit! Sorry!" Nishinoya appologized
'He even purposefully spike the ball direct at Nishinoya, but Nishinoya even struggles to receive it..' Daichi thought as he felt chills ran down his spine
Kageyama immediately ran to cover for the ball
Hinata right as he landed ran to do a quick approach in front of Shou and Kuroo but when he was about to jump, he quickly change his direction and ran to the other side and jump
'This position, this timing, this angle... dead on!' Kageyama thought as he absorbed the ball and toss the ball at high speed towards Hinata's hand
And it was at that moment, Kageyama unconsciously gasped as he notice a figure chasing Hinata at breakneck speed radiating intense pressure
Hinata with his eyes still closed spiked the ball with all his might
[Mind Block - Guess Blocking]
Hinata immediately open his eyes and in his vision was a tall wall and figure smirking, but there was no ball in sight...
The ball collided with Kuroo's hand before advancing straight down at high speed
Nishinoya tried to dive for it but it was too fast
*Thud*
At that moment, the whole team of Karasuno shook at they watched the scene with their eyes widened to the limit
"Oi... Daichi-san he shutdown Hinata just like that..." Tanaka spoke
"Not even a chance...?" Asahi muttered in shock
"..." Tsukishima looked at the scene while getting goosebumps
"Heh?... So you guys can do that weirdo quick like Tsumu-chan and Samu-chan too, huh?.." Kuroo said while cracking his neck with a smile, "But it'll take more than that ya know~"
Hinata, who was still shocked as this was the first time someone block his quick that easily, looked at the place that the ball landed as he clenched his teeth as he said to Kageyama, "One more"
The ball is then served, Nishinoya receives, Kageyama jumped up and set another quick towards Hinata's hand
*Thud*
And the same thing happened again...
"One mo-"
But before Hinata could finish Shou interrupted with a sigh, "Haizz c'mon Shrimpy, use your head a bit and give up, this guy is known as one of Top Blocker of this country, he shut you down easily not once, but twice in a row on your first meeting, unless you find another way to fight, you're not going to get past him even once, and not to mention surpassing someone like Ushijima in your region would be impossible if you continue like this"
"OI WHA-"
When Tanaka was about to start shouting, Kazuto suddenly released his suffocating pressure as he spoke, "Don't interrupt... this is important, not only for him, but for your team as well..."
Shou then turn to Kageyama and spoke, "And same to you emo-boy, I'll be honest right now, if you aren't even able to work with this shrimpy here and the rest of the Karasuno team to find new different and effective ways to fight against the Monsters of this Generation, there's no way in hell you're going to surpass or even get on the level of Oikawa nor Atsumu, the process of you bringing 120% potential out of your team starts with you bringing 100% out of them first, engrave those words into your mind..."
'As I thought this quick isn't going to work against strong opponents like them' Hinata thought as he started sweating anxiously he then looks at Shou, Kazuto, Kuroo, and Bokuto, 'but... isn't this just too a bit too much..? They're too strong...'
'Find the solution or else there's no...way...in hell...?' Kageyama thought as he engrave Shou's words into his mind
"Ahh c'mon let's continue, and stop with the gloominess!" Bokuto shouted as he threw the ball to Kazuto who then proceed to walk to the service line
'Training them is going to be a lot harder than I expected' Shou sighed
"Alright! Serving!" Kazuto shouted before throwing the ball up
Kazuto ran, did his approach, and kicked off the ground with a thunderous boom, he then slammed his hand into the ball with all his might
The ball immediately vanish into thin air before materializing right in front of
Nishinoya
'Isn't he a Libero? What kind of shit did we get into...?' Daichi thought
"Hu" Nishinoya exhaled as he let the impact of the ball absorbed into his platform and and received it high up for Kageyama
"Setter guy! Send it!!" Bokuto shouted as he got ready to do his approach
"Ah yes!" Kageyama said before jumping up and set a ball with perfect height but it was a bit too close to the net to Bokuto
"Not bad! Now... Hinata watch and learn!" Bokuto said as he did his approach, kicked off the ground into the air and smashed the ball with all his might
"Ugh god... the humiliation..." Kuroo sighed as he jumped up and reached his hand and cover the path of the ball, "Say that after getting a better set, dumbass!"
"Tch.." Bokuto clicked his tongue as he predicted this and rebounded the ball off of Kuroo's hand and back to himself
"One more one more!" Bokuto shouted as he volley the ball back to Kageyama
Kageyama who was a bit annoyed from Kuroo's previous comment jumped up and set the ball back to Bokuto with perfect height and position
"There we go!" Bokuto shouted as he started sprinting for his approach and leaped off the ground and met with Kuroo once more
"UUUOOORA!!" Bokuto shouted as he slammed the ball pass Kuroo's arms with his Super Line Shot
"Woah!!" Hinata shouted in admiration
"Tch.. lucky bastard.." Kuroo clicked his tongue as he looked at the ball zooming pass him, "KAZUTO!!"
"Yeah yeah I got It, I got it" Kazuto spoke as he dived for the ball and received it perfectly to Akaashi
"Akaashi!" Kuroo shouted as he did his approach
"Kuroo-san!" Akaashi toss the ball with medium height and a bit away from the net
'A first tempo?!' Bokuto thought as he quickly jumped up to block
Kuroo instead smirked as he stopped his approach right under the ball as he looked at Bokuto
"Geh! A delay?!?" Bokuto shouted in surprise
"Dumbass..." Kuroo spoke as he jumped up and watched Bokuto descending down before smashing the ball with all his might
"Grr!" Nishinoya clenched his teeth as dived for it and slid his hand right under the ball before it hits the ground
"Nice save Noya! Setter-kun send it again!" Bokuto shouted
"Oi Kuroo... You smell that?" Shou asked
"Yeh... smell like scheme.." Kuroo smiled as his years of experience is telling him Shou is about to do something

"Mark that shrimpy... I'll deal with this this lil shit..." Shou whispered
"Akaashi fall back!" Shou shouted
"Ah yes" Akaashi responded before falling back like instructed
"Kazu!!"
"Alright I gotchu!" Kazuto shouted back as he moved forward fully knowing their intention
Kageyama quickly observed the situation to see which is the best course of action
And it was at that moment, chills ran down Kageyama's spine and his breathing became unstable as he felt the suffocating aura of the two blockers behind him devouring the entire court
[Try and set it to the shrimpy, I dare you... I'll show you what a true Unbreakable Wall looks like... ]
[Do it.... step into my domain....Then, I shall allow you to witness the true might of the Absolute Monarch...]
"what suffocating pressure..." Tsukishima muttered as he felt the goosebump rising on his body
'They'll be shut down...my guts are telling me that'll be the fate of whoever I'm setting it to...' Kageyama thought in a panic as he bit his lip in annoyance
Kageyama jumped up as he was still contemplating on who to set it to 'To who?!?! To who?!?!? Hinata? Bokuto-san? Hinata? Bokuto-san??.....huh...?', Kageyama thought in confusion as he suddenly saw the two blocker split up at breakneck speed and dash towards the two spikers
'there are no more options left... they're both ready to shut down anyone of them' Kageyama thought in despair, but that despair soon turned into hope as he noticed, 'Ah... wait...the front is open...'
Kageyama as he reached the ball he immediately dump the ball into the opponent's court
But soon Kageyama realized that was just False Hope, a trap.
"Hahaha! Thanks for the free ball....Kageyama..." Kazuto said with smile as he took a step forward and receive the ball with ease
'It was a trap...' Kageyama thought as he clenched his teeth and blamed himself for falling for that
"Shou! end it!" Kazuto shouted
"Shou-san!" Akaashi called out before setting the ball high and close to the net
"I feel kind of bad for pushing you into a corner like that so I'll compensate for that" As Shou ended his speech, he released his entire suffocating aura that he have been containing, and as his aura oozed out, the entire gym trembles and shivers ran down the players' spines
"Still scary as ever huh?" Katsuki muttered with a smile
"Shou-chan truly is an Asura on the court.." Hisoka smiled before going back to chasing Kenma on all fours, "keuk keuk keuk kekkekekek"
"..." Kaneki looked at the white-haired player known as the Monarch before his lip curled up into a smile
"One-Hundred Percent..." Shou muttered as he kicked off the ground with a thunderous boom and ascended beyond the Blockers
'Oh fuck...' Bokuto cursed internally
Shou then slammed his hand into the ball with all his might causing it to dissipate without a trace
Then silence remains
"W-where is the b-"
*KABOOM*
It was at that moment the ball that was flying at a speed that almost surpass the sound barrier finally materialized with itself embedded into the ground and the sound of thunder reverberated throughout the gym
"Karasuno the Fallen Crows... after the matches meet us for training in the 3rd gymnasium... if you don't want to be left in the dust by the other Monsters" Shou spoke before walking off the court along with Kazuto
"Ah shit Coach is gonna kill me! SHUU STOP BREAKING FUKURODANI'S BALLS DAMN IT!!" Bokuto shouted as he picked up the deflated ball from the ground
"My bad, my bad" Shou said with a shrug
"Kekeke let me see that shit" Kuroo said as he walked over the other court and took the deflated ball from Bokuto's hand, "Jeez... if you don't train enough, you could probably crack a bone or two trying to block or receive this..."
Nishinoya looked at the area that the ball landed before clenching his teeth as he finally understand the gap between him and Kazuto, 'What was that...? I couldn't even see it... And you're telling me Sensei can go against that...?'
'Truly... Its suffocating... the might of the Absolute Monarch... ah what is this...? I'm shaking...?' Kageyama was lost in his thought and didn't even realized his hand was shaking violently
'I need.... to get stronger... much... much stronger... then one day... I swear... I'll be able to endure against their aura devouring me...' Kageyama declared in his mind
'Such overwhelming power and presence...' Hinata thought as he looked at Shou's back, 'Its... exciting...'
But then Hinata suddenly remembered a more suffocating pressure and aura that he felt a while back when he first witness the silver and gold electricity dancing around the Monarch during the Monster Generation Gathering, 'He didn't use the full extent of his power yet... ah god... stronger... stronger... I need to get stronger... I need... Power... '
It was at that moment, although it was faint, the Hungry Beast that was sleeping within Hinata and Kageyama definitely and undoubtedly twitched
"Well... let's get started shall we.." Shou said as he gestured for Kuroo to hand him the inflated ball, who then proceed to toss it to him
Then suddenly the door to the gymnasium slammed open violently and the loud voice resounded throughout the gym
"GOOD MORNI-" Before Oikawa could finish an deflated ball was thrown at his face leading him to fall onto his back
"Stop slamming the damn door open like that! Learn some proper manner, idiot" Shou sighed
"OIKA!! STOP TRYNA BREAKING THE FUCKING DOOR!!" Bokuto shouted as pounced on Oikawa and put him in a headlock
"T-Thanks..for.. having u-us!!" Iwaizumi spoke with a tired expression along with his teammate as they arrived in front of the door
"AHH IWAI-KUN... eh? why do you look so tired?" Bokuto suddenly asked noticing the state that he was in
"I don't know, maybe some piece of shit barged into my house at and 2 in the fucking morning, woke me up, called me Daddy, meowed at me and I had to take care of him" Iwaizumi said as he glared at Oikawa, who was purposefully adverting his gaze somewhere else
"Man! What an imagination you have there, Iwai-kun AHHAHAHAHAHAH" Bokuto said as he patted Iwaizumi's back not really believing his words
"Excuse us..." a voice suddenly resounded out from behind Aoba Johsai team
"Tch Ushiwaka-bastard..." Oikawa muttered in annoyance as he stood up while tossing the deflated ball back to Shou, "Alright! Let's warm up"
"THANK YOU FOR HAVING US!" Shiratorizawa shouted as Aoba Johsai moved out of the way to do their warm up
"Uwah... it seems that the two Kings in our prefecture are here..." Daichi spoke to his team and get their attention, "Alright guys, it seems that the matches are about to start, let's warm up!"
"Fufufu it seems the teams are here" Nekomata said while walking out to the court with the coaches, It seems that we can start"
"Kuroo! Do your thing!" Shou shouted across the court as he walked over to Bokuto
"Alright I got it!" Kuroo shouted back as he walked into the equipment room
"Bokuto... I want you work on your control, accuracy, observation, and instinct... use only 50%-60% of your power, you are only allowed to avoid blockers which means no block-out, and you can only use your Straights (Line Shot) and Cross (Inner Shot), but as I said before keep your power to only 50%-60%" Shou said
"Eh?!? But I wanna smash through all of those blockers with my full strength!!"
"The success rate of your Straights (Line Shot) and Cross (Inner Shot) at max power currently is around 67%, and that's disgustingly low.."
"Geh!" Bokuto unconsciously spat as he twitched from Shou's last comment
"This camp is the perfect time for you to work on getting that success rate up to at least 75% and if you're hopeful and working hard enough maybe even 80%, got it?"
"Haizz Alright... but when can I increase my power" Bokuto sighed and asked
"Don't worry about that, I'll tell you when it's the time" Shou spoke before he walked over to Oikawa who was warming up
"Oikawa, I would say that your setting technique are perfect now, but you're too simple and too easy to read.."Shou said as he crouched down
"What do you mean?" Oikawa asked back in confusion
"Your style currently is all about giving the spiker the best set possible for them and leaving it up to them, it's just too simple and you know damn well that's not gonna work if you're gonna be going up against a blocker like Kuro, who's every spikers' worst nightmare"
"Hmm, I see where you're coming from, but what should I do?" Oikawa questioned
"Find more ways to fight as a setter..."
"Like what?"
"That's for you find out in this camp, dumbass" Shou said as he smacked Oikawa's head before moving on to his next target
"Tch! What was that for!" Oikawa shouted in annoyance before his mouth curled up into a smile
"Ushijima" Shou called out
"What is it?" Ushijima asked as he turned around meeting Shou
"Alright I'll get straight to the point, your spiking technique right now are great, but your straights and cross are weak, your blocking skills overall are kind of ass" Shou said with no hesitation which made Ushijima's eyes twitched
"S-So what should I do?" Uahijima said as he forced a smile through his gritted teeth
"For blocking technique you should train them with someone that could teach you a thing or two about what to do to improve that, for your spiking, you have to remember physical capabilities aren't the only ways to increase your strength, technique are also important. That's all I'm gonna tell you, you have to find the answer for yourselves" Shous said before walking away
"Hehhh~ Wakatoshi-kun it's really interesting, I always see him just straight up shit on your skills, but you never retaliate back, you just continue to listen" Tendo commented
"Although I have to admit that I have a large pride and ego, but it's not enough to the point where I would miss out on the opportunity and knowledge to get stronger, because I have to get stronger...and truly... his... no, their advice and skills had never cease to amaze me, and I could proudly say that the reason I am as strong as I am today was because of them, Asata Shou and Hiroshi Kazuto" Ushijima said with grateful smile
"Alright everyone!!!" Kuroo who was standing next to a covered white board shouted catching the attention of all of the players on the court, "Welcome to our Golden Week Training Camp, On behalf of Nekoma High and Fukurodani Academy I would like to thank everyone for coming to this camp. Let's have fun playing volleyball"
It was then a round applause resounded throughout the gymnasium after Kuroo completed his speech
Then Kuroo proceed to reveal the white board content "As we have the required amount of team here, we'll proceed with the rotation matches, the matches will only be a one set game and these will be the first two match that will start off our camp with"
Matches:
Karasuno vs Fukurodani
Shiratorizawa vs Aoba Johsai
"Fucking great... I was looking forward to this.." Oikawa said with a bloodthirst smile as veins started bulging out of his forehead
"And let me remind everyone of the punishment for losing" Kuroo lip suddenly curled into an evil smile, "1 lap around Fukurodani's campus that's so huge that its even bigger than your mom's fine a- I mean it's pretty huge... and you have to be in Full Sprint..."
"Any question? Nope? Alright great let's start everyone!" Kuroo spoke before moving back to Nekoma
The team all went to the court where their match would take place, did their warm up, and got ready to play against each other
"Alright! Karasuno!" Shou said as he slip onto the bench next to Coach Ukai while Karasuno was having their discussion before the match
"What are doing here, brat?" Ukai asked, "and also during the talk with the old shitty cat over there, he said that this camp was mostly meant for us, what does that mean?"
"It means exactly what it means... this camp was meant for you to get stronger, for the reason? You don't have to worry about it, just know we're helping you to be stronger.."
"Now Karasuno" Shou spoke as he looked at all of the players of Karasuno with a vicious smile that sent chills down their spines, "I'll give you a heads up that the training that you will go through in this camp would be so difficult that it will even make the thought of dying much more pleasurable..."
It was a that moment that shivers ran down the players' spine as they began to sweat violently at the thought
"Great, it seems that you guys a ready" Shou said with light smile, "now.... the first Level of Hell that you will be going through in this camp is: [Stamina Training]"
Shou then proceed to raise his hands up and point at Fukurodani, "Your objective is to try and survive against the weakened Bokuto, while trying to score at least 10 points.... while Kazu on the court that is..."
The team immediately turned their head over to Kazuto who returned with smile while slowly releasing his suffocating pressure which got the Karasuno to sweat even harder
"Asata-san does the opponent's s-"
"Ah right, now that reminded me, no, opponent serve misses does not count..."
"Anyways, Welcome to Hell..." Shou said with a smile
