Chapter 2 : I Hate Losing

"So you should practices kanji on these given phrases, that will be your assignment for today" Takada said looking at students while some students nodded 

*bell ring

"All right everyone get the assignment done by tomorrow and your history classes will be held in library today you should go there" as takada declared his notice he looked at Izumi 

"Izumi, meet me when recess starts in staffroom alright" To that izumi nodded and held his history books from his bag

"Hey, looks like Mr. Stern-faced is in trouble" some kid from last bench said while he chucked

"Hey is izumi a trouble maker he looks so cute like a model i didn't expect that"

"Don't jump to conclusions now that can't be the only reason"

As girls started their gossips everyone left the class for history classes

Takada was sorting some documents in staffroom as he heard a knock as he allowed and saw izumi

"Come in and take a seat here" Takada said while pointing at a chair next to him as they faced each other

"You know I'm happy that you chose to start high school and at karasuno at that" said with a smile

"I will be blunt, you know coach ukai right?" Izumi nodded

"Well another question why are you not in volleyball club?"

"I'm h-haven't decided yet" Izumi said while looking down which caught takada off guard as he didn't show any emotion up until now

"Here take this address it's the hospital where Ukai-san is at right because of his back pain, You should pay him a visit" Takada said with a bright smile

Izumi took the card from takada and left staffroom

Next Day

Takada had a smile on his as he saw a application form of Izumi Saburo for Volleyball Team he immediately called Ex-Coach of Karasuno

"Did he visit you?" Ukai chucked as it was the first time when takada skipped formalities

"Guess he joined the club yeah?" 

"Yes he did, he said wasn't sure yesterday how did you convince him?" Asked takada as he was curious

"I Didn't" Ukai said bluntly

"Huh?  Then what?" Takada was confuse

"Enough with that just take care of him for me" 

"Yes i will" said takada happily

"I hope karasuno grow strong you should find a new coach you know I'm not gonna be back"

"Any Suggestion?" Takada asked as he knew Ukai's health issue

"Stop playing, you are already pestering my son for that matter just keep it up, and if it doesn't work just inform me" 

"O-ohk" takada said as he felt chills for sec. there

At the Gymnasium

"Stop with that face tanaka" Daichi yelled at him as he was staring at izumi as he entered gym

"hey what're you doing her  " as tanaka was getting closer to izumi he got a elbow on his gut by sugawara

"So Izumi have you decided to join yet?" Asked daichi though he already knew since he went through application form before coming here

"Yes"

"That's good so which position do you play" 

"I play middle-blocker position"

"Well that's good so let's see you pl  " as was about to finish he notice hinata peeking through door 

"Hinata, Where is Kageyama" Hinata flinched as he realized he was caught

"He is practicing alone over there" Hinata said with frown pointing towards kageyama to which daichi just sighs

"Well anyway as for your 3v3 match after 4 days he will be your teammate" Daichi said pointing towards izumi

"wha? ..... Hey wasn't i suppose to be keeping them in line daichi?" Tanaka asked daichi in disagreement

"you will be playing with other 2 first-years against them" Daichi said as he made himself clear 

"Am i missing something?" Izumi looked towards sugawara as expecting a explanation and he got filled in about there situation

"You can train with them if you want but they can't enter court but you can so choice is yours" Daichi said as he fill him in about it

"Alright" Said izumi as he walked towards hinata 

"I'm Izumi Saburo, Where have you been training since your detention?" Izumi wanted asked as he looked down towards hinata

"I'm Shoyo Hinata, We should head towards there i will fill you in with others arrangements" Hinata said while giving tanaka and sugawara a look 

as those two have been opening gymnasium at 5 AM daily to help them practice as those two left towards kageyama to practice daichi turned towards Suga and Tanaka as they gulped

'Did he catch-on to it? Stupid Hinata' Suga thought while staring at the window

'I'm not afraid! I'm not afraid! I'm not afraid! I'm not afr....' Tanaka chanted those over and over in his head while whistling towards net as he was sweating

"so you practice in this garden in night and at 5 AM in gymnasium" Izumi asked as Hinata filled him on it

"Yes, though it's hard to practice at night as there is less lights he .." Hinata was as ball hit his face 

"Less talking we don't have whole day you know" Kageyama said with annoyed look

"I know stop hitting me in the face all the time"

"Then keep your eyes open"

"Yeah yeah" as hinata went to get the ball it got picked by a tall kid wearing glasses who had blonde hair and behind him was green haired with average height kid with small smile

"Are you the first years who caused trouble on the first day?" said the blonde kid with a mocking grin 

"G-Give that back" Hinata yelled as he tried to get the ball from giant in front

"Hey Yamaguchhi, aren't elementary schoolers like this one should be at home at this late" Blonde kid said looking at hinata as it irritated hinata

"You are right, tsukki" Yamaguchhi said as he nodded

"WHO THE HELL ARE YOU" Hinata yelled at those two in front

"The others first years we are supposed to have match with" Izumi cut as he guessed

"I didn't expect to see two elites to attend karasuno" Tsukki stated as he shift he gazes from hinata to Kageyama and Izumi

"Huh?.." Kageyama was about to argue

"H-Hey We won't lose on Saturday" Hinata stated to tsukki as they stared at each other while 

"Ah right, Well it might be important to you, to us it's just 'ah whatever' feeling we aren't gunning on winning so if you want us to we will throw the game for you?" Tsukki said with a poker smile

"HUh?.." Kageyama as was 'bout get annoyed

"... Whether you throw the or work yourself to death we're still gonna win on Saturday" As izumi stated with cold tone and looked in his eyes

"Oh as much as i know you got in this mess coz of these two right, so why are you so pumped up about it" tsukki keeping his poker smile as he asked as he was curious so hinata and kageyama as well

"It's simple actually, I HATE LOSING  . . . . . "
