The man eater

Hagetaka shifted his gaze away from Sora and started to look at new found body.

"One thousand slashes,huh?You must be their predecessors"he than looked towards the two brothers who had gone back to their original positions.

He looked at the spear and sword in their hands and quickly realized they were the same as thousands of years ago.

"This is gonna be interesting"he slowly muttered to himself and turned to look towards where the brothers were.

"Huh?"

Before he knew it,Shu had appeared right before him with his sword about to decapitate him while he sensed the other brother aiming towards his chest from the front which he nearly dodged while the other brother almost decapitated him

"Don't you get cocky,brats"he jumped midair while avoidin the two and released the nein which he had been absorbing for past few minutes throwin the two brothers towards the wall.

"What the fu-"Shu was thrown against the barrier and was groaning hard in pain.

"Bastard....ughh"he suddently felt in his abdomen and looked down to see it had been pierced by his own sword and fell on his knees.

Meanwhile,Shao lifted himself up looking at the incoming figure which had startd to walk towards him.

That boy was no longer what they had seen moments ago....this person was entirely different.

"This isn't gonna be easy it seems"

"Easy?"the cold and remorseless voice once again echoed through the building.

"I haven't even started yet.Just it'd imagine what'd happen if i start getting serious".

"Who the fuck do you think you are,huh?"Shu lifted himself up from the ground and pointed his sword towards Hagetaka"I,upon honour of the Yuans pledge to kill you over here".

For a moment,it seemed like Hagetaka was interested but instead chose to keep walking towards Shao leaving Shu confused.

"Hey!"Shu shouted at him"Iam talking to-"

"Shut up!I've got no interest in dirtbags like you or do you wanna die?"these cold words came out of his voice and Shu couldn't admit but felt scared after looking at those eyes which clearly showed he wasnt kidding.

Still he took a deep breath and prepared himself for the attack.

"Hopefully,Shao will get the signal and we can deal with this menace once and for all".

Shu moved his hand over his sword and instantly it began to give off a yellow aura.He bended over one knee and instanly had disappeared.

Meanwhile,Hagetaka took his hands out of his pockets knowing it was gonna get serious from now on.

"His speed has increased...is this the lightning form of nein?"he sended his presence suddenly"found ya!".

Hagetaka turned to his left to grab his leg but the sword was about to pierce his head.

"Dammit"he bent down to dodge it and grab him by his leg but he had already been sent flying towards one end of the barrier with one hit in the stomach.

It took him a moment to realize what had happened.He was sure he had dodged his Shu's strike and was about to get him unless-

He looked up to see Shao standing there waving his hand towards his spear with yellow flames appearing over it too and turning towards him.

"Weren't you going to go easy with us?Seems like its quite the opposite"Shu said with a sarcastic tone"Anyways its time to finish this"

"Yes,we dont have much time left"Shao looked over to Sora who nodded givin him a go-ahead.

Meanwhile,contrary to the brother's expectations Hagetaka was brimming with excitement.

They got into fighting stance until they started to hear a laugh which was coming from where Hagetaka was.

"AHAHAHAH"Hagetaka's maniacal laugh started to grow louder and louder until he stopped a minute later

"This is getting interesting and interesting...i thought u two might not be enough for entertainment but this is better..way better than before"

He lifted his himself up and pointed his right hand at them.

"Come towards me if you think you can kill me!"

As if they were waitin for his word,both disappeared instanly and next thing he knew was Shu had cut both his arms off and Shao had cut both his legs off.

He tried to touch the barrier to absorb any nein but both of em dealt their final blow by the sword piercing the heart and him been kicked hard against the wall.

Hagetaka vomited blood on the ground while cursing before Shu once again striked at his heart and finished him.

Next thing everyone knew was there was a lifeless body down on the ground.

"You idiots!"the brothers heard a shout coming from the other side of the barrier"You weren't supposed to kill him,only were supposed to capture him!Look at what you've done"

Ignoring Sora,both of them turned towards the body inspecting if he was dead or alive.

"Yeah,he is dead for sure.No doubt about that"Shu bend down and picked up the body.

"Now what about that-"there was a slashing voice and next thing he knew was he couldn't feel both pf his arms.

"UGHHHHH!!!"Shu fell down on the ground and started to look for his arms which he were infront of him both of them cut down with utmost perfection.

"Took you long enough,Kusanagi".

Shu turned around to look at the figure which was a moment ago a lifeless figure.

He was standing on one of his legs which had apparently regenerated and in his one arm which had regenerated he was caressing a straight sword which he was referring to as 'Kusanagi'.

"You....how the fuck are you even alive?"Shu tried to say what he could between all his crying.

Hagetaka who's other leg had also apparently regenerated,bend down to whisper something in his head.

"What made you think I was even dead?"he asked in a high-pitched voice full of excitement.

"Shu!"Shao attempted to strike at Hagetaka to rescue Shu but his belly had been pierced by a sword and was kicked towards one end of the barrier.

"You wait there for a moment,I'll deal with you too"Hagetaka than shifted his attention towards the person who was infront of him.

"What you did before really hurt,you know?Regeneration doesn't make it any easier on the contrary it hurts like hell so now what should i do with you?"

Meanwhile,Shu was scared to death seeing that smile on the devil's face...how could one possibly enjoy something like this..multiple thoughts were running through his head.

"If i can just do something...something to get out of here"he then looked towards where his other comrades were,at Sora wondering if he would help but from the look on Sora's face that didnt seem the case.

"I've decided...I've decided what to do with you.."he looked towards the devil infront of him brimming with excitement and suddenly Hagetaka grabbed his face by his right hand.

"What are you-"after a moment Hagetaka left him go and started to move towards where he had thrown the other brother at.

"What was th-"in an instant his head began to fill with dozens of memories,past traumas,moments which he had no recollection of and next thing he knew was he was seeing hallucinations.

"Father??"his late father was standing before him looking at him with apparent disgust..?

"You are a shame..to everyone..to the family..to us..to yourself"the last word was said with pure disappointment,he could sense it.

"Shu!!What's happened??"Shao got into position to run towards his brother who had started throwin himself on the floor like a madman and had started to cry frantically.

"Forgive me!Forgive me!"was the only thing he was shouting while cryhing like a madman.

"Now its your turn"he striked to his left from where he heard the whisper to cut Hagetaka but instead his right hand had come off.

"What-"grabbing hold of himself he mustered all strength to swing the spear again at Hagetaka but next thing he felt was a blade piercing his heart.

"Has the Yuan clan fallen so low?This is utter disappointment..there's no way they were your ancestors"Hagetaka complained with a disappointing tone.

Pulling his sword from Shao's body,Hagetaka started to move towards the third and only person who was there.

"Now who might you be?"Hagetaka asked with a bored voice licking off the blood from his sword.

"Have you forgotten about me'Hagetaka the man-eater'?"

Sora who had been observing the battle from afar,flinched at the name.

"What's the matter?"Ahihito inquired as soon as he saw the look on Sora's face

"Don't tell me..we've awakened one of the deadliest devils in history"
