Chapter 12

Hadrian was busy with hunting nightmares from time to time,so his visits to the Locke family was not as often as it was before.Also some of the rogue nightmares caused a lot of issues in the humans world like serial killings to creating national issues.Each of them had a monster like form and special ability of their own and they are not easy to track down.

The Nightmare Hadrian was facing now as huge humanoid creature whom have many human-like features except having a bull-like head and muscular legs that more like bull's.This particular Nightmare managed to fool an entire village into giving it human sacrifices.

Hadrian had tried using lighting spell,but the blue-white lightning only seemed to make it slightly bruised at the best.But the fact he couldn't use his high end spells because of chance of people noticing was the other problem.

The Nightmare now named Minotaur was able to lift a tree trunk lift over its head and throw it across a small field.

Hadrian saw the creature bearing down on him.Minotaur had black eyes glowing with hatred and he reeked of rotten meat.The he lowered his head and charged, those razor-sharp horns aimed straight at Hadrian's chest.

Hadrian held his ground, and at the last moment,jumped to the side.The Minotaur stormed past like a freight train, then bellowed with frustration.Then it turned to Hadrian again this time more angry.

The Minotaur grunted, pawing the ground.Then kept his eyes on Hadrian, who was now retreating slowly away from the Minotaur making some distance between them.

As the monster charged at him,quickly jumped and did roll,he was able to quickly recover and get on his feet.

The Sword of Gryffindor materialized in Hadrian's hand,it was made of pure silver, and its hilt was set with egg-sized rubies — the gemstone that was used to symbolise the House of Gryffindor at Hogwarts. The full name of Godric Gryffindor was also engraved just beneath the hilt.The sword was blessed by both Dream and Death making it very powerful.

Hadrian then with a lunge slammed the sword on to the Minotaur's back,the beast could only roar in pain as it started turn into nothing,but dust.

Hadrian sighed as thought"Atleast I made it in time for Jean and Mary's birthday."

Hadrian walked towards the village who was influenced by the nightmare as he simply held his hand out as the sand started swirling then flows out covering every inch of the town,the Sand of Dream acts as long rang memory modifying spell.Hadrian also made sure eliminate those that took part in this sacrificing for their own agenda's,he didn't do anything to those that were to scared to rebel.But he did notice death had marked each of them,so they are dead so punishing them doesn't make any difference.

After making sure everything was in order,he disapparated away from the spot.

Hadrian now reached back in his Mansion as he saw Dream sitting in study reading a book and without looking away asked"So your job is finished?"

Hadrian nodded and replied"Yes,the rogue Nightmare was take care off."

Dream with a wave as images of different artifact appeared infront of Hadrian who studied each on of them carefully as Dream explained"These pictures are of artifacts created by each one of the Endless they are present in every university as copy,through out time some of them have changed owners from one person to another,during the past few years I felt as if somone was looking for them.So I need you to find them."
