The hell, Jason?"

"Selene?" Pérez and Gina rushed forward.

"What's the big deal? You almost shot me"

Jason just stared like a mute.

"Say something, you almost shot me"

A lone finger touched the tip of my nose, it traced a path to my ear and then I was squeezed into a tight hug that expelled all the breath from my lungs.

"Hey! You're..."

Jason released shaky breaths.

"Jason..."

"You're alive. I've been dead worried, worried that you could be somewhere needing me and I wasn't there to help, that you could be lost or cold or hungry..."

I really made him worry.

"I'm sorry. I shouldn't have left, I made you worry, I'm so sorry"

I thread my hand through his hair.

"Don't leave my side again, if you're angry with me, take my gun and shoot me in the leg, I'd rather feel pain than what I felt today"

"Are you hurt?"

"No, I'm fine, just a little stiff"
