"What nonsense are you spouting?" Ye Liu questioned and in response to his offended tone, Yu Dong was even more offended. She dropped her head and looked at the mer looking more than affronted.
She said, "I am speaking nonsense? You are the one who is speaking nonsense! I just asked whether the mer was pretty because I could not understand why so many women would willingly hand over grains to him."
The situation was not as good as it was in the past. What were these women doing handing grains to a mer who sold his body? Was he that good-looking or skilled in bed that these women were willing to die in his bed?
Like they could starve but they couldn't live without solving the itch?
