Beeps!

Jessica turned reluctantly towards the sound of her cell phone. The girl's smile widened when she saw Alex's name on the screen.

Without much thought, she immediately picked up the phone from the man.

"Yes, Al?" said the girl as soon as the phone was connected.

"Your voice is so hoarse, after crying huh?"

It was very strange indeed, they had known each other not long ago, but for some reason, Jessica felt so comfortable and open to the man, as if they had known each other for a long time.

"How do you know? A psychic, huh?" the girl joked.

She knew her joke was really bad. But, never mind.

"Yes, I am! Now, I'm near your share house. Let's go! I want to eat meatballs!"

"Alright, I want to confide in all of you. I'll be waiting at the gate!"

"Okay." After saying that, Alex immediately ended the call.

Jessica threw the cellphone she was holding, rushed to curse the jacket, then left her room.

As she passed the living room, William called her and asked where she was going. And when the girl saw that Rey and Lusi were also there, she just answered as long as she wanted to go for a walk.

"Wait! I want to join!" exclaims Kevin excitedly.

"Singles can't come, you won't be strong mentally!"

Jessica stuck out her tongue before finally sauntering out.

She had seen the look on Rey's face before she left earlier. Rey looked quite surprised. He just wondered what she meant to Kevin.

When the girl was outside the house, Alex's car pulled up near the gate. The man waved his hand, after lowering the windshield.

Jessica immediately ran out of the gate and got into the man's car.

"I know a super-duper delicious meatball stall! You have to try it!" Alex said as soon as Jessica sat next to him.

"Spicy isn't it?" the girl asked doubtfully.

"You can request a level. Don't worry!"

Jessica nodded quickly, and just gave up when Alex drove his car away from the gate.

As Alex said, the man invited her to eat at a small but crowded shop.

"Just sit down, I'll order. What level do you want?"

"I don't like spicy ones. Don't be too spicy, okay?!"

Alex nodded slowly, and approached the seller to order, while Jessica chose a seat that was slightly away from the crowd.

Not long after, Alex came back with a bottle of tea and gave one to Jessica.

"Originally, your face is so ugly! How many buckets of tears did you get?!"

"What the hell, Al?"

Alex smiled faintly, then drank his drink.

"I've decided our engagement," said Jessica in the end.

Alex only glanced at the girl, then smiled faintly.

"That's good, it's a shame if a girl was as beautiful as you is played by that bastard!" said Alex casually.

Jessica nodded slowly.

"You know, after I broke up, Rey looks so relaxed! He's still with Lusi as usual. It's annoying, isn't it?!"

This time, Alex chuckled softly.

"I told you before! Rey doesn't love you! That's why he just relaxes and leaves you alone!"

Why is it that every time he says that Rey doesn't love her, the girl's heartthrobs in pain?

"And I've decided on one more thing, Al!"

"What?"

Jessica immediately closed her mouth tightly when the meatball seller came to deliver their order.

"Continue the story!" Alex exclaimed while stirring the meatball sauce.

Jessica took a deep breath, she then looked at Alex very seriously.

"I hate Rey! He has wasted so much of my time! He has also played with my feelings. So, I want to take revenge on him! I want him to feel what I have been feeling."

Alex listened in silence. He looked at the girl with a deep gaze. To be honest, he couldn't understand what Jessica's gaze meant.

"Are you serious, do you want revenge? Have you prepared any plans for revenge?"

Alex's question immediately flicked Jessica's kidney.

Well, she had already decided to take revenge, but she hadn't thought about how.

"As I thought, you must not have thought of away!" Alex mocked while holding back a laugh.

Jessica immediately scowled in annoyance. She ignored the man's taunt and began to season the meatballs in front of her.

"What are you doing with meatballs? How come there are meatballs in the meatballs?" cried Jessica in amazement.

When the girl cut the large meatball that was served in the bowl, small meatballs came out from inside, along with the chili sauce with pieces of red chili in it.

"Gosh, you're such a country bumpkin! Where have you been? You don't even know about the lava meatballs?"

"I rarely eat meatballs. Especially in a small shop like this. Rey doesn't like it, so we've never been to a place like this, and ate food like this!"

"Why am I so resentful, with your ex?" Alex joked while shaking his head slowly.

Come on, what kind of guy doesn't like meatballs?

Jessica just chuckled softly and began to enjoy the meatballs in front of her.

She didn't know that meatballs could taste so good like this. This is amazing.

"Back to the problem earlier! What kind of revenge do you want?" asked Alex with a serious face.

"Em, when I think about it, revenge is like a Korean drama, how good is that?!"

Alex frowned and looked at the girl sharply.

"What drama?"

"Korean drama!"

"That's crazy, you're weird!" cursed Alex.

Jessica just chuckled amused at the look on the man's face. She then took a sip of her drink and held her breath as long as she could.

"How about this, I will make him fall in love with me, and when he loves me, I will leave him!" said Jessica.

Alex was silent, then laughed so hard.

"Why are you laughing?"

"Hey! You say that it seems so easy! Here, let me tell you, making someone fall in love is not as easy as you think! Do you understand?"

Alex's words again disturbed Jessica's conscience.

"So, how can I make Rey fall in love with me?" asked the girl stupidly.

Alex put his spoon and fork on the bowl, then looked at Jessica sharply.

"Change! You have to change! I was stalking Lusi's Instagram yesterday, and I thought, I know why Rey betrayed you!"

"What?" cried Jessica with great enthusiasm.

"Your appearance! You have to change! Prove that you are much prettier, better, than Lusi!"

Now!

Regarding beauty, Jessica fully admits that Lusi is indeed very beautiful.

"Change your appearance! I'm not asking you to change Lusi's style, but at least, change your make-up a little bit. You look like a high school girl!" Alex pouted.

Once again, Jessica lost her reason to argue with Alex. Yes, again the man was right. She really can't dress up.

"Don't worry, I will help you!"

The girl immediately smiled broadly at Alex's words.

After that, they only focused on the meatballs in front of them, because to be honest, the meatballs were delicious. These are the most delicious meatballs Jessica has ever eaten.
