Silently watching at the truck which was going away, Chester took a deep breathe and walked back to the mansion. He said to someone nearby, "Inform all team leaders to come to the meeting room. I have something important to say."
Ten minutes later, the meeting room was full of people. There were twelve men in the room. When everyone took their seat, Chester said, "We have a bad news here."
Everyone's heart was raised instantly. They didn't dare to relax because it was rarely considered as bad news by Chester. No one didn't speak and the room fell into silent. When he saw that no one was asking question, Chester leaned back on the chair and asked, "Do you remember about yesterday's explosion?"
Everyone nodded. Of course, they couldn't forget it and they also calculated and guessed boldly that explosion was probably done by Christ who opened the only weapon shop of their town. As for why he did that, everyone wondered. Some thought he met a great enemy and some felt that he was besieged by large number of monsters.
Chester told them, "Let me talk about the bad news first which was informed by the officer Peter. Yes, he was one of them who came to rescue us just now. They were defending against three giant monsters and several hundreds wolves during this morning. After paying a great price, they were able to eliminate them all. That another loud explosion sound you heard before was their work. And I guess that Christ in your mouth might also meet that kind of big guy yesterday. He probably took that monster with him too. Of course, that is just my guess. But it is highly possible. According to intel, only 20mm and above can cause damage to that kind of giant monster. Our officer Peter wanted us to prepare a way out. Currently, our SWAT team has one AMR rifle we brought. Officer Peter gave their Vulcan Gatling to us. But in my opinion, these things aren't enough to deal with several giant monsters. We might be able to take down one but we can't fight against three. I want you to gather available vehicles and prepare a back road to retreat. What you guys think about my plan?"
After saying everything in one breathe, Chester took the water bottle on the table and drank over half in one go. He understood that things could be more serious than he said. After all, Peter told him about their magical artifact. Although they have large amount of people and guns, the ones who can really cause damage to giant monsters are limited. Many people will be killed. Chester thought about it and felt headaches. But after considering about the plan officer Peter said, he felt that there could still be a turn around. They would have to take a big risk if they wanna execute that plan.
The meeting room was still in silent even after they listened to Chester's bad news. It was not because they weren't afraid. But they were silently thinking and making plans. However, they all became extremely mature after experiencing these two days. They felt that rootless argument would be meaningless.
After a while, someone started to talk about his opinion. It was a good looking white man in cowboy suit. He said, "After thinking about it, we are taking things passive. This greatly hindered us in collecting various resources. Although we were able to take the opportunity last night, we all know that is surely not a good thing. Right? So, we have to plan to clean up the monsters actively before they united to besiege us again. According to what you said, officer Peter and their survivors group are probably very strong.
