Francis POV-

"Isn't it a Xenos?" spoke Alex.

"Yes, it is, well at least from her description," I responded. After a bit of crying, Uriel told us her story.

She used to live in a small village near the elven forest along with her mom and dad. Everything was fine until one day they came, the titans-*cough* *cough* sorry, wrong story.

Their village was attacked by a pack of wyverns, killing everyone, including her parents.

She herself only managed to survive thanks to being buried under rubble.

After the attack, she managed to unbury herself only to be met with the sight of her burned-down village and her parents' corpses.

I feel bad for her, to be burying her own parents at the age of 16.

Anyway, after that whole thing happened, she didn't know what to do. But Uriel remembered stories that her father told her. Apparently, her father was an ex-adventurer who retired to the countryside.

And the reason?

It was Uriel; he had gotten the woman he fell in love with pregnant and decided to live in the countryside.

Because of that, Uriel decided to go to Orario and become an adventurer like her dad. I'm surprised that she's made it this far if I'm being honest.

If she really lived in a village near the level forest, then she would have needed to get across the Alf Mountains and the Beol Mountains that separate the elf forest from Orario.

Oh yeah, we're in the Danmachi universe, by the way. I figured it out after she said Orario.

Thank God I like reading wiki lore and visual maps. If not, I would not have known where we were.

Uriel said that she had already passed the Alf Mountains, so that meant that we were in the Seolo Forest, just east of Orario. Well, that's all according to the Danmachi world maps I saw online.

Anyways, her whole story is interesting and all, but it doesn't compare with the detail she gave me of the Wyvern or, more especially, the wyvern that led an attack on her village.

The thing talked and was giving out orders to the other wyverns. That by itself already proves that what attacked her village wasn't a normal pack of wyverns but one that was led by a Xenos. I thought that they could only be born in the dungeon, but talking and intelligent monsters in this universe are a mind-breaker already.

Or at least for the people of the Danmachi universe. I couldn't care less if they talked or did backflips.

"Hey, Uriel, we're heading towards Orario ourselves. If you want to, you could come with us," I offered the girl that was snuggled between my arms.

Even after crying, she hadn't left the position she was in. I'm guessing that she's trying to hide her embarrassed face from me.

Heh, those red ears of hers gave her away. "Really?" She asked, her eyes still seemed to be puffy from all the crying.

"Mhm!" I nodded, signaling a yes. A bright smile dawned upon her face, greatly showcasing her beautiful face.

Ugh, she's too cute!

"Alright, that's enough flirting, let's get going," said Angel, his comment made Uriel blush even harder.

"Do we even know where to go to begin with? We're literally lost in here without supplies or a map," said Alex grimly.

"Actually, we do. There's moss growing on the tree over there, meaning that," I spoke as I waited for someone to finish my sentence.

"It's facing east, so we need to go... Wait, where is Orario?" asked Alex.

"It's west from here; we're currently in the Seolo Forest, so we just need to go towards the left."

"How do you know where Orario is? I've never seen you with a map," Asked Angel.

"As a veteran weeb, I know all kinds of information, including world maps of different anime," said Francis.

"Soooo... Wiki?"

"Yup," replied Francis.

"That's good; I never thought that your weebness would come in handy," said Angel with a happy sigh.

Me neither, buddy, but it did in the end.

"Wiki?, weeb?, anime?, what is that?" asked Uriel.

Shit, I forgot she was here; I shouldn't be talking about this stuff in front of her.

"Weeb is a sort of title for a person that knows lots of stuff in multiple fields," I answered, trying to bullshit.

Angel snorted in amusement but was quickly shot down by my murderous glare.

"I see! Is that how you knew where Orario was without having a map?" she said in realization, her eyes sparkling in admiration.

"Hm, it is, but only a few bear such a title. My brother here is only interested in guns, and the other one... He's just here and breathing," I answered; this time it was both Angel and Alex who gave a death glare.

"Brothers? Oh, since when were they here?!" she said as she looked at my brothers in surprise.

...Ha-hahaha!!!, she didn't even notice them this whole time!!!

My brothers stared at her with their mouths wide open; I can only guess that they were left speechless at her comment. Heh, they were talking this whole time, but she never acknowledged their presence until now.

"You!-" before Angel could start saying some of the world's most offensive words, Quinella came out of me and spoke. {Francis, remember the canyon we were going towards earlier?}

"Yes, why are you asking?"

{Well, it seems like the group of wyverns she was talking about earlier are passing through that canyon. If we move now, we will be able to intercept them.}

Oho?, it seems like we will be getting revenge for our sweet Uriel.

Hm?

Uriel suddenly gripped my shirt and looked at me. "

Please don't go! You will die and and... I don't-" before she could finish her sentence, I shushed her with my finger.

"I know you're worried, but we will be fine; you will find that we're stronger than the average person. Plus, don't you want vengeance for your family? I don't mind helping you with it, and if we are right, now is the chance to do so. I don't know when we will ever come by them again." She gripped my shirt harder as she went into deep thought, seemingly conflicted between asking us for help or keeping us safe from harm.

After a few minutes, she spoke up in a shaky voice, "please... Help me."

"Well, it seems like we're going wyvern hunting," spoke Angel with a grin; I could already see his finger on the trigger of his gun. Geez, I think he's enjoying shooting stuff too much.
