The Lumire mines are not among the best mines that have continued to operate in the past. However, because many Elves live in Lumire, the autonomous region has attracted a lot of attention from the world. Including the Empire. 

In the historical records that Prince Hector had read, there was no definite explanation of the Lumire District other than as one of the last residences of the Elves. At least the records were believable until Prince Hector saw the Mineral Mines himself. 

In front of a hill no more than 500 meters high, with a stretch of meadow all around. Then jutting out onto the coast of Ceron and a bit of the border area of the Colonial desert, was a huge hole that gleamed from within. 

"Where is the mining gate?" Prince Hector was very curious about the lack of proper safeguards for a mine.
