A Hint Of Normality

As soon as his superiors give him their approval, Zhao ask for the warrant, to search the suspect house and detain him for questioning. Once he had it in his hands, he mobilize the local police along with most of his team, (minus Shen Wei, Guo and Zhu Hong, which were still at the office) to the suspect home address. Lu Yan had reported himself sick the morning when the last victim had been kill, so his whereabouts were unknown so far.

Still, they went to his house and brake in, after following the proper protocol in case like the one they were dealing with. As expected, the house was empty, but they had go there, more in search for more evidence than to find the murder. Zhao make sure that every corner of the house was properly searched and not a single corner was left unchecked.

Chu end up finding a fake wall in the bedroom just behind a huge mirror that lead to a hidden small room. If not because the mirror looked out of place, the hidden room would had been overlooked. After unlocking it, what they found make Zhao angry, because it was Lu Yan's huge collection of photos, mostly of Shen Wei in different places, some red marked, while others mutilated.

There were probably hundreds of photos took in both day and night. Zhao could see that at least half of them were a few years old, because he had photos of Wei's old apartment, of him running in the near park, of him in the University, or in some gatherings. He even saw a few in which Zhao was beside Shen, drinking in some near the street restaurant and some photos of the other victims in which they crossed path with Shen Wei.

The last victim for example, was sat in a bench and Shen Wei was passing by her, probably back to his office after a class. The young woman, was looking at the professor pass, obviously with admiration and he wonder if Lu Yan chose the victims not only because they resemble Shen Wei, but also because they had respect him as a professor or as a psychologist.

They took photos of the wall and confiscate all that could be used as evidence, like laptops, files and all the expedients at his University office, then issue another warrant for arrest on sight to all police stations in Dragon City. Even though they didn't catch him right away, Lu Yan was not going to leave the city easily, not to mention the country, as all airports were informed of the suspect detention.

In all, it was a matter of time for someone to spot him, as the media showed his photo in all channels and so the anonymous confidences begin to overload their team in no time. Shen Wei was relieved, as now that pretty much everyone in the country knew of Lu Yan's madness, there would be no more victims and soon, all those who were so viciously murder, will have their deserved justice.

At the end of that day, the evidence against Lu Yan was overwhelming. Lin found in his confiscated personal laptop, recovered threatening letters directed to professor Shen that were deleted, with dates as far as five years ago and two short videos of the murderers. Then, an anonymous confidence they receive from the mental institute in which Lu Yan sister was interned, also give them a better insight of the fragile mental state of the family.

Lu Yan sister had a traumatic experience when she was in high school, as their parents were in a car accident along with her. She was the only survivor and that mark her forever, however, with the help of her brother, who was studying phycology at that time, she more or less recover and eventually married with a divorced man, which had a nineteen years old son from his previous marriage.

One night, the son in law, Chuan Li, was drunk and came to complain to his father about his lack of fatherly duties because of his new marriage and had a fight with him outside the house. Lu Yan's sister intervened and Chuan Li grabbed her arm in anger and push her to the street in front of the house at the exact moment a car was passing by, who almost hit her. Seen herself back to almost been killed by another car, sent her back to her old dormant trauma, awakening it, more severely than before until she finally lose it completely.

Chuan Li was apparently full of guilt after almost killing her step mother and was pretty much manipulated by the enraged Lu Yan, who end up introducing him to kill for him when he was unable to do it himself, then erasing his memories so the guilt will not get in the way of the next murder or be accused to the police. Both men were mess up and Lu Yan's grudges were abnormally intense, even in childhood and end up in obsession and murders.

Shen Wei believed that the reason he killed the women was not only because they resemble him, but because at some point Lu Yan was going to confess his crimes made in Shen's name to try manipulate Wei as well making a video in which he stated it was because of him he killed, to make his life a living hell. Zhao found quite ridiculous Lu Yan's weak reasoning, because Shen Wei had face his own hell as a child and had overcome all obstacles with dignity and bravery. No matter what, Shen will never submit to a sick murder, thinking otherwise was definitely deluded.

In all, Lu Yan misdirected his repressed rage toward Shen Wei and his chosen victims and Chuan Li was paying for the sin he committed against Lu Yan's sister, literary with his hands full of blood, thus the difference in the intensity of the wounds found in the victims. So the case was basically already solved, the only thing left was catching him for good.

Once at home, Zhao double the vigilance of their house and after some small dinner and a needed bath, they went to bed after Yunlan changed Wei's bandage. Zhao held Shen Wei close, lamenting that hot sex was still out of the picture, but kissing or teasing him was more than alright.

"Humm, my Wei... it will end soon." Zhao said between kisses.

"I know..." Shen whisper back, as he let Yunlan kiss and tease him all he wanted. He loved the man, so feeling his warmth and curios hands all over him was welcoming.

"You are okay, right?" Zhao asked, as he lower his hand, making Shen moan.

"With you touching me like this? How can I not? Ah Lan..." Wei whisper to Zhao's ear as he shiver under his lover hands.

"Good... then I will make you forget even more..." Zhao kissed his neck, which make Shen arch his back a little, sending a wave of pain from his lower back.

"Be careful my Wei, don't bend like that..."

"I wonder who is the one that make me arch like this." Shen whisper, as Zhao pull up his shirt.

"I'm guilty of that charge... I admit." He kissed Wei more passionately, as Shen flushed red in the face and his heart raced like hell inside his chest.

"Thank you... Yunlan... for loving me...protect me... and support me this much..." He moaned more as Zhao trapped a nipple on his mouth.

"You are welcome babe..." He keep playing.

"You most know that... I love you too..." Shen murmur.

"Of course... you had been hard ever since I changed your bandage." Shen blushed more as Zhao looked at him.

"So you notice..." Shen whisper a bit embarrassed.

"It was hard not to..." Zhao whisper before winking at him and Shen pull him up to claim his tempting lips.

"Yunlan..."

"Ah, my Wei... I wish you a very fast recovery... this wait will kill me slowly..." Shen smiled against Zhao's lips.

"I will make it up to you..." Shen kiss him more.

"I hope so... but I'm quite demanding..."

"I can manage..."

"I hope so my Wei, because my need of you is not small..."

"Neither is mine Yunlan, I assure you..." Zhao laughed before gently embraced his hot professor in his arm, then kiss him more.

"Ah Lan..." Shen whisper and grabbed Yunlan's hair, as Zhao traced a warm path with his hand over the naked skin bellow his shirt all the way down his spine, avoiding his wound, yet coming back under the fiber of his dark sweet pants to grasp his behind, pulling him even closer.

"What to do my Wei... you are already hard..." Shen was honestly in want of more, so to hell with precautions.

"Apparently I'm not the only one..." Shen, moaned, as that same hand, moved from the bottom, to the front part of his pants, softly rubbing his arousal.

"You are ready for more... a shame..." Zhao said, kissing him more.

"The bath Yunlan... take me there... to hell with all, I need you now." And so Zhao smiled, quite pleased. Full sex was still out of the question, but there were other pleasurable ways, that could make any man scream for more, even when releasing.

"My pleasure, babe... off we go." He said as he gently took him on his arms bridal style, to give his lover what he wanted.

However, as they played with one another, something else was taking place. Wang Zang was beyond scare as she looked around the dark room in which she wake up, all tied up and as she looked to the one who capture her just when she was going to open her car to go home, her heart almost stopped, seen the professor Lu Yan smiling evilly at her. She had allow herself to become the mad man hostage. Shen Wei had already warn her to be careful, but because the police was already after Lu Yan, she had let her guard down.

"Forgive me, Shen Wei..." She whisper to herself, as she fought back the coming tears, she was sure Lu Yan wasn't going to kill her just yet, but he was going to use her to bring Shen and then, everything was possible.
