bikes and base

Keith was seen sitting on a couch drinking a beer and watching the news, apparently a nice villa in Vinewood hills was dragged down a couple days ago, destroying the building entirely. It has been a week since his arrival and today he finished his renovations.

Keith had moved the bar, deciding not to throw it out completely. The upper floor had a wall in the middle dividing the space in two, the one on the back having your room with a double bed and some nice furnishing. The laptop and desk where also moved leaving the room downstairs only with the gun locker.

The room in the front had the meeting table that was originally on the base floor, now moved upstairs with the bullet board and safe coming with it.

With the empty space created on the base floor by moving the stuff one level up. Keith removed the wall where the meeting room originally was and let the bar in its place right next to the entrance. Putting the couches in the open so that he would have all the leg room in the world. The tv in the corner right next to the bar hanging from the ceiling.

The room next to the stares remained, housing the gun lockers that was expanded to a armoury. The only problem being that it was empty of guns and bullets.

Keith liked the open floor design of the place, the left over space would be enough to house around four cars and a couple of bikes, however that would be tight resulting in all the vehicles needing to move if you wanted to take the one at the back. He would probably do one cars and his twelve bikes all spaced apart to have the opportunity to leave with any vehicle.

As today was the day that he finished he was relaxing on the couch watching some tv, thinking about what to do. When the news switched to a live broadcast of Jay Norris Founder and CEO of LifeInvader presenting his new prototype.

[Ladies and gentleman]

[please welcome Mr. Jay Norris to the stage!]

Keith watches Jay walk on stage wave awkwardly to the people present at the announcement. Behind him where the words; social self resect.

[hey.]

"What a dickwipe." Keith says aloud not changing the channel because the remote was out of reach.

[This company has come a long way, since we started it in my parents' pool house in East Carraway]

[today, you're about to witness a new phase..]

[Full on, weapons grade, red alert, world domination!]

"weapon grade?.. he really is a dickwipe."

The camara pans out to the people cheering him on

[Wooo!]

[We have put a billion people's private data in the public domain and we have milked every penny we could in the process.]

[We have one of the youngest work forces in the world!]

[An average age of only fourteen point four years. That's not just impressive. It's revolutionary]

Sighing for the final time Keith says;

"Ok, that's enough tv for the day." Searching for the remote while the crowd cheers on

[Wooo!]

[Today. Right here. We are about to make the next step!]

[prepare to witness.. The future.]

"Where did I leave that dam remote?"

[Dock! Dock!]

[The LifeInvader mobile device.]

[Yes, we've invented something no one else has ever thought of, a small personal computerized device]

"I have enough of this." Keith stands up approaching the tv to turn it of manually.

[Hold on a second, I think someone is trying to call me.]

Standing before the tv you feel for a button, still not finding it

[Hello….bought]

"fucking hell, he deserved it but right next to my ears dam it."

Turning of the tv just as the white noise begins you are relieved that it finally shut up.

Moving to the bar and getting another beer Keith contemplates what to do

'surly that Lester Crest knows something about this, even if he doesn't he can help me by passing me thru to someone.'

-

Keith was calling Lester on the phone, the ringtone went on longer than expected but eventually it connected.

"Am I calling with Lester Crest?"

[How did you get this number Mr Keith with no last name?]

"One of my contacts back in NY said you where one of the best, although you aren't active anymore."

[Mhh interesting, so why did you call?]

"Well I was watching the news and the death of the LiveInvader CEO reminded me to call you."

[That didn't answer the question now did it?]

"No, not particularly. But why would anyone call you if it isn't for what you do best?"

[And what do I do best?]

"A fence that I can trust."

[But can I trust you?]

"Lets make a deal, I will discount my usual percentage for the first job that comes up over it to the guy who requested the job if he accepts than I am in?"

[I will over it to them.]

Lester hung up the phone

'So there is a job coming up, nice.'

-

Michael entered the factory building

"The hell is this place?

"A garment factory. I needed a job that didn't require me to do anything apart from, uh, paying Taxes."

Entering the office Michael begins

"Hey, Listen."

"Shh-Shh-Shh."

Closing the door at Lesters shoeing Michael asks

"What have you got?"

"The Holy grail… The Union Depository. Now, they say it cannot be hit. Hasn't been yet but there was a job in NY that tried and where partly successful."

"Listen, I just owe some Mexican hood a couple of million bucks, cause I wrecked his girlfriend's house. I don't need to go crazy here."

"Which Mexican?"

"Martin Madrazo."

"He's not supposed to be very nice."

"Oh, when I met him he was charming."

Lester stifled a laugh while Michael continued

"So what do you think?"

"Oh, erm, let's see, either we hit a bank in the sticks, or we do a store. Which do you like?"

"Well, a store's usually easier, but I gotta make a big take."

"Well gems it is, then. Let's go to Vangelico, buy ourselves an engagement ring."

"And we're gonna need a crew. I can round up some of the old guys?"

"There are no old guys. Moses, ironically, he found Jesus. All those Irish crazies, they mostly just disappeared. That crew from the south, they all went down. There was a guy in Liberty City, but he went quiet. I got a call from a guy from New York, about possible work but I don't know much about him."

Moving outside toward Michael car to head to Vangelico Michael asks a final time;

"Well we are gonna need a crew. You got any contacts in LS or not?"

"I've been working with someone but they're too unpredictable. I'll have to reach out to some other guys."

-

Coming back to the factory after the scope of the jewel store. Lesters receives the printed photo's that Michael took while there and heads into the office.

"My workers have their uses. Okey, let me set this up."

"Haha. nice to see the methods haven't changed."

"Well we have to figure out what we are doing someway. All the crews, the roles, prep work. Don't leave evidence behind on a hard drive. So yea the methods don't change."

"Right, not for a pro."

"Well, mapping out the options and showing you all the angels. That's my area of professional expertise. But making decisions that is your domain, my friend. Here."

"There's two ways of doing this – we go in smart or we go in loud and dumb. Remember the vents? If we're gonna be smart, we pump a little knockout gas through the air system then hit the cabinets while everyone is out. You'll have to source the gas, of course, but crowd control wont slow you down, and that might improve the take. The cover is pest control, so no one will look twice when you're wearing gas masks. That means getting a pest control van, though."

"You go in dumb and you'll need your famous way with people and four carbine rifles. We can't buy them, and risk getting traced. No,no,no, we've got to find some in circulation. It's awkward, it's real awkward, but this is the gun favoured by LSPD tactical teams, so one of their vans is probably a good place to look."

"A Hacker can disable the camara's. The length of the time depends on their ability. The alarm will be operating on the same window. The exit strategy is more or less the same for both options. The driver you pick will, of course, source some bikes."

"You come out the store, and make your way through the new subway tunnel they're digging off the Del Perro freeway. You lose the cops in there, and meet a Truck in the LS river."

"Alright, I want my guy, Franklin, on the getaway. He can handle a bike."

"Alright, if you vouch for him, I'll take the risk."

-

So, how do you wanna do this? Run in through the front door, or try to play it smart?

"Lets go with smart."

"You've grown wise and cautious in your old age. Okey. Select personnel with that in mind. As ever the better they are, the bigger the cut… Now the driver, they will source the bikes, lead you out through the tunnels."

"Tell me about the Guy with 7,5% cut he doesn't have anything but a name and Face."

"Yes, that's the guy I talked to you about, the person that called me. He seems to be a pro but recently moved to San Andreas, I haven't been able to confirm his skill but he did over a discount for the first job I was setting up."

"What's his normal rate?"

"15%, he is giving us 50% of for not knowing his skill."

"Ill give him a shot, just check if you can find something about him."

"You sure?"

"Yes."

-

Keith walks to is phone, he was receiving a call from a unregistered number.

Picking the phone up all he heard was [You are in. I will sent u the details, don't mess up.]

"Hahaha, certainly direct."

Looking at his phone he got the details of how they would arrive and escape.

'Well time to get to work.'

Walking to his bike Keith picked up his helmet and said "sorry girl but we got a job." Revering to the Pagassi Esskey in the garage.

Getting on the bike Keith headed to the LS river scoping out there escape route

-

Having gone both from the LS river all the way to the entrance and back Keith was done with the route. It ad nothing to do with the scenery in the tunnels it was just his Pagassi Esskey wasn't holding up to well with al the water and dirt. Heading back to the Clubhouse he called home Keith thought about the bikes that they would be using.

'A dirt bike would be great in the tunnels' As Keith thought about it he remembered a new dirt bike coming out this summer. 'some members of the lost could have information on the new Nagasaki BF-400.'

Having made a plan Keith called Malcom.

"Malcom I need your help with something."

[Do you want to start a motor club like we talked about?]

"No I wanted you to locate some bikes, more specifically the Nagasaki Bf-400."

[They aren't even out on de market.]

"Exactly perfect for a robbery, am I right?"

[They wouldn't have a trace on them yet, but it would be obvious that they where stolen.]

"It doesn't matter, they will be out next summer so if I were to steal a couple that aren't registered jet, I would make bank."

[let me look into it for you, if I find something I'll pas it trough]

"Thank you, Malcom."

-

"Finally!"

Getting the message that four Nagasaki BF-400 where heading to Sandy Shores for a promo shoot before the bikes are publicly available. The four bikes would be moved in a Container to the filming site, where they would be opened up and begin the advertisement.

The Bikes will be moved tomorrow morning so the only thing needed was to stop the truck before it reaches its destination.
