Green-eyed Princess Mermaid

In a majestic kingdom, Queen Jade gave birth to a lovely baby whom they (she and her husband, King Garnet) named Emerald because of her lovely green eyes. She is a peculiar baby because she has a twin fish. When she reached that special day, emerald turned into a mermaid and was carried into the sea by a huge wave. There, she meets the handsomest merman, Carlos. They fell for each other, but the question is-- will Emerald's longing for her family lead her to find the magical cure she needs to be human again or will she choose to just stay with her merman lover Carlos?

Chapter 2: The Fish is the Princess's Sister!

The king has forgotten about the fish that came from his wife and is the sister of Emerald. Emerald is indeed a charmer and everyone dotes on her that's why it's no wonder that Garnet and Jade would spend the whole day just doting on their daughter. The queen would always sing lullabies to her and the king would carry her while dancing.

Fortunately, for the fish, the midwife has transferred it into the large aquarium in the living room. She told the maids in the palace to take care of it. She said that she saw it in the bathroom when she cleaned the baby princess.

The maids were dumbfounded and their amazement was so evident on their faces so the midwife stated, "I have no idea how it got there also, but we believe that this fish is a symbol of good fortune, so take care of it." The maids happily obliged. Another lucky thing was that the aquarium was so large that it occupies almost half of the living room and can house an 8-feet water creature. It only contained two small goldfish before Emerald's sister fish was put into.

As Princess Emerald continued to grow and be a pretty lady, so did her sister fish which she takes care of once she reached the age of six.

Emerald grew to be a nice woman and all, but she had her secrets-- which some would consider to be her flaws or quirks. She has a red birthmark shaped like a fish on the calf of her leg and she has to wet it with saltwater every six hours for it not to be itchy. She can also talk to her sister fish in the large aquarium (of course, she talks to all the fish and she does not know about her sister) and not tire watching it swimming for more than ten minutes after she wets her birthmark with saltwater.
