Talon remembered clearly that he hadn't introduced himself to Zhang Mei during their earlier encounter, yet here she was mentioning his name correctly, even his last name, as if they were old acquaintances.
"Hi, Mei. So your destination was this area too? And I'm quite surprised you knew my name," he said.
"It's nice to meet you again. How about we chat for a while? I have something to talk about, especially because I don't think I've thanked you properly yet," Mei responded warmly.
Deciding they could take some time to chat given their unexpected meeting, they walked over to a cozy corner where comfortable seating invited a relaxed conversation.
"At first, I was unsure, but I became certain when I saw you with Emily. That's when I knew you were Talon Starborn, the musician I discovered online and at your concerts. I didn't expect to meet you, especially someone so talented," Mei said, trying to mask her excitement with a touch of awkward politeness.
