Chapter 43: The First Level.

Panting heavily, Dawn sprinted and flipped along the narrow path, dodging the lunging Nightmare Fishes one after another. Unlike his previous encounters, where fear overwhelmed him, a nervous smile now spread across his face.

'I can see it... I can feel their movements... their positioning' he thought as he closed his eyes.

His movements were far more agile and sharper than before. Having already traversed the course allowed him to navigate through the darkness with ease.

"To think I've improved this much in just a day... Is it the power of the shadow essence and the prototype's fragment? It feels incredible..." Dawn mused.

Unable to contain his exhilaration, Dawn leapt again, spinning between two attacking Nightmare Fish. Upon landing, he used the momentum to roll forward and break into another dash toward his goal.
