* BANG BANG * "Arr two more minutes" a young man Said. * BANG BANG * The door was banged again. "Arrrgg fuck this" the man stood and hobbled to the door. "WHAT" he said in a gruff voice. "Cut the shit Eric, where is my rent?" followed the voice of an old man.

'Fuck it's old man Bob who owns this place' Eric suddenly woke up completely as if a bucket of cold water had poured on his head. He had no way of paying the man, he was hoping to get an advance from his boss.

"Old man I'll pay you tonight alright" Eric said depressed about the fact he would be eating instant noodles for rest of the month.

"You better pay or John and Lou will be coming to see you" old man Bob said with a threatening expression.

John and Lou are Bob's sons and they don't mess around, once a man living above Eric had his legs broke because he was late 1 week.

Eric was sweating, he was 2 weeks late 'Shit they're going to take my legs and arms'. "I'm sorry Bob err I mean, I'm sorry Sir I'll get the rent tonight I promise, no need to bring your boys into this" Eric said nervously.

With a sinister smile old man Bob said "Right there isn't a need yet, but if I don't get my rent tonight, they will be coming to collect"

After threatening Eric the old man left, Eric had a coffee, got his best work clothes on and headed to work. Eric worked at a grocery store and made minimum wage, it was barely enough for him to live, he only worked there because a girl he liked did as well.

Arriving at work he went to the back room Elaine was there sat down, she looked beautiful with long blonde hair, petite body and the most dazzling eyes. She was the perfect woman Eric thought.

"Eric.. how are you today" said Elaine smiling.

Erics heart almost stopped, she was so beautiful. "cough cough, I'm doing fine, how are you"

"I'm good thanks for asking Eric, have you seen the local news it's awful? "

"Has it happened again, where do you think they go? "

"Aliens" said Elaine with straight face.

"What!! Haha have you taken your meds today" said Eric playfully

"haha I'm serious it the only explaination" said Elaine smiling.

There was reports of missing people the last few weeks, the people had no connection with each other and just vanished, all relatives never heard from them again. Eric thought that if he could just vanish then it everything would be good, no more John and Lou coming to break all his bones. Thinking of John and Lou Eric's face was pale and he felt a spell of dizziness come over him.

"Are you OK it's probably not aliens alright, you don't need to be scared" Elaine said with a touch of concern and ridicule in her voice.

"ahhh no its not that, have you seen Joe around I need to speak to him" said Eric calming himself down.

Joe was his boss and friend, he was a good guy. Eric had known Joe for years they met on a mmorpg and played pretty much every day together since.

"Yea he's having a smoke outside back" siad Elaine

Eric walked outside to see Joe smoking leaning against a wall, he was an average looking guy with no distinct features. Eric walked up to him smiling.

"Joe my friend, you know I'm always your friend right, and do anything for you when asked right, well..."

"Not again Eric I cant keep doing this, Elaine won't like it if I keep giving my love to you and not her" Joe said full of regret

"Wtf you talking about 'give your love to me'" Eric said quizzically

"Oh I mean the same love I gave to your mum last night" said Joe looking at Eric with a sense of achievement.

"hahaha very good you werido, anyway I need some help"

"Sure thing buddy what do you need"

"I need some money like an advance on my pay check maybe... Please..." said Eric with desperation in his eyes.

"hmmm shit I can't bro, the higher ups won't let me do shit like that. What you so desperate for anyway?"

"Old man Bob woke me up this morning saying he wants the rent or... John and Lou coming around to see me" .

"Fuck dude, I told you not mess around with them. Shit hmmmm" Joe thought for a minute "Ok come downtown after work ill lend you the money"

Eric smiled and said "Do you want me to love you or something?? Because I don't think i can"

"Nahhh loving your mum is fine" said Joe smiling so bright the sun seemed to be dimming.

"Mum thing again really? You need to get your self check out" said eric

"I think I do after being with your...."

"Alright stop..." said Eric as he walked back to start his job.

Eric was on his way downtown to meet Joe it was already night. Eric was walking down the road to the meeting spot he noticed a woman being dragged into an alleyway he dicided to have a little look maybe it was the 'aliens' that have been abducting people he thought. As he reached the corner of the alleyway he saw the woman held up against the wall with a man holding her by the throat. Eric reached for his phone to call the police but then he heard a loud scream, he dropped his phone in shock and worry. He looked around the corner and noticed the man had disappeared and there was just a woman sat on a step crying and shaking.

"Hey.. Hey are you OK" said Eric as he approached the woman. She was beautiful wearing a long black dress, black hair and eyes that seemed bright and full of energy.

"I'm fine now" she said while looking him up and down, like she wanted to eat him.

'No she just wants to make sure I done have those intentions right?? She doesn't want to eat me right??' thought Eric.

The woman risen from her seat on the cold step and approached Eric with quizical eyes. "Thanks for your help sir" she said with gratitude

"I didn't do much, I was going to call the police when I looked back the man who grabbed you was gone" Eric suddenly remembered his phone "Oh shit my phone, I dropped it back there I'll be right back"

Eric turned and went to get his phone, as he turned he saw the woman standing in front of him.

"Forget your phone handsome, stay and talk with me" she said with a seductive whisper in his ear. Eric was at a lost he didn't know why this woman wanted him to stay he thought maybe she wanted to 'repay' him or something.

"Am I not pretty enough... Don't you like me..." she said while pushing her breasts up invitingly.

Seeing this Eric was bewildered he walked towards the woman as if he was in a trance "No...no..noo.. Your amazing" he said trying to catch his breath.

"That's enough Cia bag him up already" a cold male voice sounded from the darkness.

"ohh.. Your no fun Vandel, its going to be our last one let's have some fun at least"

"No we need to go back now or we will be stuck here" said Vandel

Eric snapped out of his trance like state. 'what do they mean "the last one" and "be stuck here" holy shit are these the aliens that have been taking people' he wondered.

"Who are you?... Aliens?" said Eric

"Aliens" said Vandel in a questioning tone.

"Beings they believe live in the sky" Cia responded.

"Whatever.. Just do your thing so we can go before its too late" Vandel said impatiently.

Eric watched as the woman called Cia approached him doing some kind of sign language while muttering some words he didn't understand. "Hey.. Hey you what are you doing" Eric said scared that he would be probed by something later, then wake up in a random field a week later.

Cia continued her 'sign language' ignoring Eric's complaints. Eric felt a rush of cold hit him hard like a hammer and his vision narrowed untill it become black.
