Elijah followed the trio out the office door, he wore a face of confusion, (Where exactly is he taking them?) Elijah asked himself.
The trio took a path that Elijah was unfamiliar with "so where are we going exactly?" Elijah inquired, Bargi turned his head towards Elijah with his emerald blue eyes and then answered "let me give you a simple run down, where we are going is a dungeon we store ….monsters from the spirit world".
Bargi answered, Elijah wore a face of confusion in the spirit world. Elijah asked himself, Bargi continued "Don't worry like i said before Miss Daley will explain it in more detail " Bargi wore a grin on his face while Elliot and Amala wore grim expressions.
the trio reached the end of the journey they faced a large rusted metal gate, beyond the rusted metal get movement could be heard it was a heavy crisp sound there was also a low growl bargi faced the others then added "we stop here".
Elliot and Amala walked to the gate, their steps were slow but steady it was like they were trying to not disturb whatever was beyond the gate. Bargi cleared his throat and then walked back from where they came.
Elijah looked back to Elliot and Amala the two had just went through the gate there figures disappeared into an illusory blue mist.
"you coming?" Elijah wore a face of cursorn, "they just disappeared, what happened to them?" the two walked through the long halls of the church.
"they got sent beyond the seal is all, i can't tell you much about it but that's all you need to know " Bargi answered.
(in this world knowing to much gets you killed) Elijah taught back to the journal entry.
i really need to decide on an oath, i could choose the guardian…no i should seek out an oath that suits me more rather than copying Bargi…
"i will be heading to the library" Elijah stated Bargi shurged, the two walked on a separate path Bargi walked the path to his office while Elijah walked the path to the church's library.
The library had lots of people inside a tall bishop walked past him the bishop had a tall white vile covering his face.
Elijah walked to one of the tall bookshelves he wanted to pick out a book about the history of Solara but the number of books overwhelmed him.
"Those are a lot of books, i remember the first time when I came to this library, I was scared that all of those books would just fall on top of me, crushing me to death" a voice of a young male reached Elijah, he turned to face this young male.
He had tall black hair and green eyes he had a mole on the left side of his lip "Who are you?" Elijah asked the young male answer was straightforward.
"my name is Edmund Tollere but people call me Ed " Edmund answered,
"i'm Elijah,i have a weird question, are you familiar with an oath?" Edmunds's eyes lit up with excitement.
"of course i do but my knowledge about them are very limited" he answered.
"that's fine just tell me all of which you are allowed to know about" Edmund's girn faded.
he walked to a bookshelf that was across them then picked out three books.
"follow me" he whispered Elijah followed, and they walked to a garden outside, the two walked to a white garden table.
Edmund laid out the three books on the table each with its title Edmund picked up a white-covered book it was named priestess.
"this is the priestess oath commonly known as the apothecary oath, this oath deals with potion making.
"this oath is controlled by the great mother she is currently one of the ten gods of Solara there is more to this oath if you want to learn more about it read this book."
Edmund placed the white book back on the table and then picked up a brown-covered book it was called Justice.
"this is the investigator oath this oath allows you to see the truth behind every lie this oath is currently ruled by Themis he is currently one of the ten gods like I said before take this book if you want to know more about this oath."
Edmund placed the brown book on the table then he picked up the last book it was black in color, the book was called Lunatic.
(the other books had such calm names but this one sounds insane in a way) Elijah thought to himself.
"This is the chained oath, this oath allows you to sacrifice part of your sanity in exchange for power, this oath is not controlled by anyone as of now if you want to know more about it then pick up this book".
After the last book was placed back on the table Elijah was trapped in thought (none of these oaths fit me … Maybe I need to think more on it, i know for sure that i'm not choosing chained because of the cost of my sanity.
if there are ten gods and some of the oaths are connected to them does that mean that there are more oaths out there that i could choose from?, maybe there is a right one for me?).
Edmund snapped Elijah out of his train of thought.
"don't worry to much there are other oaths that will suit you perfectly so i wouldn't think to much of it " Elijah let out a dry chuckle and then spoke.
"You right, sorry for wasting your time" Edmund shook his head "it's fine, i find learning about the secrets of the world to be very interesting that's why i chose the investigator oath "
Edmund picked up all the books from the table then went back into the library Elijah stayed outside he slowly walked around the garden enjoying the view.
(i wonder what would happen if i got all of my memories would i be happy or would i be sad?, what if the world i want to go back to is worse than this?) Elijah asked himself.
he saw a ruby red rose in front of him, he touched the flower petal it felt like touching a soft blanket of snow.
(why do i have memories of the church class system or even how a flower should feel in my hand? I don't think I truly lost my memories I think that they are tied to this world somehow, but why is it connected to this world? or maybe it isn't and I'm just thinking way too much about it).
Elijah rained in his thoughts he looked up at the sky it was getting dark.
Elijah walked back to the library Edmund wasn't there, Elijah looked around the library for a bit he found out that there were sections that he is not allowed to enter.
He looked around some more, and he took in some of the small details like the cobweb on one of the corner walls, the librarian having a small gape in her teeth.
after being in the library for a few minutes he went to his room, the red hue of the moon met his gaze he stared for a few minutes and then said.
"why is the moon red?" no one was around to answer the question he then went to the kitchen to try and cook up something to eat but he realized that he had just moved in which meant he had not bought anything.
(i have about 8 thousand pounds so I think food shouldn't be a problem …., it is late maybe I could go and buy some ingredients ?.., but that monster is still out there, or the monster has already been taken care of).
Elijah rained in his thoughts then strode to his bedroom he took out 2 thousand pounds from a bag he had brought with him.
