554 554. The Real TRUTH

Alexander was sitting inside the train when he received Olivia's call. It was a private train and he didn't have to worry about anything. He just told them to continue on while he sent the guards to another bogie.

When only he and Dobby were left. He decided to do human transmutation. "Let's meet this truth guy. He's gotta be an A grade bastard to even make Olivia angry."

Dobby chuckled, "Hehe, let's just hope he's not dumb enough to do anything stupid with you."

"Okay, see you later. I don't know how time flows there. If I don't come back soon then continue on following Bradley." Alexander instructed him and activated the transmutation matrix.

After a while, little long black hands came out of the circle on the floor and grabbed Alexander. The next thing Alexander knew, he was standing in front of a bodiless humanoid being who only had a transparent outline as a body.

Alexander looked at the being straight in the eye. Or where he guessed his eyes were.

"So, you are the so-called truth," Alexander said.

The bodiless being smiled widely. Surprisingly, the smile was visible.

"Welcome, I'm an existence that you folks like to call the 'world'. In other words, the universe. In other words, God, Ishvala, I am the truth, I am all, I am one and I am also you." The Truth pointed towards Alexander.

But Alexander was only amused. "Oh, never knew I had a twin. Continue."

"Human. I see you have mutated a lot. But, can you still face the truth? At what cost?" The truth asked.

"You have dared to knock on the door. Now, the door is open."

Behind Alexander was a huge marble door. But it was blank and had nothing on it. The gate was supposed to look identical to any and all who pass through it, the engravings on the stone door were supposed to appear different to each person as a reflection of their true self and alchemist's understanding of "The Truth" (all the engravings, in one way or another, are representations of the Universe and the Cosmos).

The reason behind there being nothing on Alexander's gate could be because of many things that would soon be answered.

The door opened and hands similar to what pulled him into this dimension pulled him back to into the gate.

Inside it was a dark empty space. In the beginning, he felt like he was falling but then it turned into drifting in nothingness.

Like a movie reel, the universe's knowledge was being poured into Alexander's mind. But, he was not at all uncomfortable. Instead, he was enjoying it.

*YAWN*

~Million times comprehension is indeed very helpful. I also know most of these already. But these tidbits about Alchemy are indeed interesting.~

He didn't even speak and just looked at the changing scenes. After a short while, he was pulled out of there.

"How was it?" The Truth asked.

"Boring. Not much new stuff." Alexander replied, shocking the Truth.

Alexander then continued. "Tell me, doesn't this work with the law of equivalent exchange? So, what will you take from me?"

The Truth was silent for a while. Then it tried taking Alexander's body but couldn't.

"Haha, that won't work. You can't take anything physical, nor astral. But what I can give you is also knowledge. Just like what you did." Alexander offered.

The Truth smiled, "What can a human teach me that I already don't know."

"A human from this world surely can't. But for someone like me, I can show you the real TRUTH." Alexander announced.

*BAM*

Out of nowhere, a giant black door appeared behind the Truth. It then opened and white arms pulled it in. It was just like what he used to do to others.

The constant smile from the Truths' face had vanished and what was left was a frown.

The Truth felt like he fell inside a white hole. In front of him, instead of the movielike reel, scenes passed by him as if he was sitting in a giant display cylinder.

At first, it was just simple knowledge. But this being was an ordinary deity, made from human emotions and laws of the world. It didn't know that there existed the multiverse and higher gods.

It saw the vast knowledge about the multiverse. Then, when it came to Omniverse, it started overwhelming him. The knowledge of the Omniverse didn't just consist of the knowledge about different worlds, but also the knowledge that the 5th-dimensional beings had given Alexander, which took him more than a million years to understand.

"NOOO... STOP IT... STOP IT NOWW..." It shouted.

But nothing stopped and the scenes kept on passing by. When finally, it was on the brink of getting its mind destroyed. Alexander pulled him out.

"What you saw was not even the tip of the iceberg that I call my personal knowledge. That was the real truth." Alexander revealed to him.

"What are you? Who are you?" It asked. It was also heavily twitching as if it was mentally disturbed.

Alexander took out his ID and gave it to the Truth. "I am Alexander Maxim Universe aka God's Advocate or the wandering god. Also, a proud Grandpa."

"So, what I want to ask you now is, which side do you serve? Because, till now, from your actions, I can tell that you are neutral in your own twisted way. However, I must disagree with your methods. Because what you just did was wrong and also my wife is angry at you." Alexander said.

"I never broke the rule. The law of equivalent exchange was always followed. What is there that you disagree with?" The Truth asked him.

...

Central City,

Alexander had transferred Colonel Mustang to his office complex. Because he wanted to get another loyal man to his bandwagon.

But first. Mustang needed to open his eyes to everything that was happening. Until now, he was trying to solve Hughes' murder.

His investigation led him to meet one of the officers under Alexander. This officer was supposed to be the person who knew about what transpired at the 5th laboratory.

From there, Hughes found out that General Universe had left behind a package for him with some coordinates on them. He quickly burned the paper after remembering them.

Then, as described. He went to the right coordinate and entered the building after a long string of passwords.

Inside, he found the perfect people who could answer all his questions. Barry the butcher and the Slicer brothers. All of them had their souls tied to the suit of armor.

Following this event. Mustang learned the truth about the main ingredient of a philosopher's stone and that the government is involved in some shady stuff.

"It seems my decision to come to Central was right. Hawkeye, we can't trust anyone here except our inner circles. Make sure Barry and Slicer brothers are kept hidden." Mustang ordered.
