Claude

In the manor, currently a beautiful maid with a perfect bosom was feeding a small child. 

The child was unusually beautiful. He has pure white hair which has a strange glow or luster to it. He has bushy and thick eye lashes. Which were also of pure white colour just like his hair. He has sapphire blue eyes clean and pure like the ocean. Along with his more feminine face he looked the embodiment of beauty itself.

" Who is the sweetest baby~, of course it's our little baby claude~"

The woman tried her best to feed the little baby named Claude but the little one simply pulled his mouth away from the nightmare the maid was calling baby food.

After the baby refused to eat the food the maid gave up as if she was already used to this behaviour of the baby in front of her. She went to do her other work after putting the baby in his cradle.

'It has been three years since the day I was born in this world.'

'Many things happened but let's take it slowly and steadily. First things first my name is Claude and I am a reincarnated person.'

'Even though I know that I reincarnated after death in my original world. I don't know much about my past life. It's hard you can say my memories are fussy but I remember everything about my past except my personal life.'

'Though I don't care anyways because I am a reincarnated person. If I was a transmigrater then the story would have been different as I would have tried to find a way back to my world. Instead I am reincarnated so I am reborn. I died and then I was born in this different world.'

'I have many goals and ambitions in this life including the purpose behind my reincarnation or the person who reincarnated me. Well, if this would have been a novel then the MC would have already forgotten or simply tried to ignore the purpose behind his reincarnation. But this is not a novel so I want to find the reason behind my reincarnation. See, I personally think that everything and anything in life has a limit or a price to pay. So I don't expect a second chance without any price and I want to pay it.'

'But first let's talk about this world and my life in it. My family is really, really complicated.'

'According to the information I got from the maid Layla, I live in a village called as venia. This village is located in the Viscounty of Greenleaf. This viscounty is present in the north side of the Buratti continent.'

'North is the place of eternal snow or so Layla said. Well because it is just the truth, the northern part of Buratti is snow cold more than three fourth times of the year. The remaining time it's rainy or humid. '

'Due to the village being in the northern part farming is hardly possible but this village produces fruits which are very important to the economy of Greenleaf. That's why this village is given more priority than other villages in the viscounty.'

 I am the second son of the appointed head knight of this village. But the truth is a little bit different. When I was two years old I heard Layla asking my mother what my origin was. My mother agreed to tell her because it was better than spreading unwanted rumours.'

'My mother is a tier 4 healer. That means she is a mage and a noble at that. Her life was already set on stone by her father but my mother fell in love with my biological father. I don't know what clearly happened as my mother skipped that part but my father left my pregnant mother and suddenly disappeared. Her father, my grandfather refused to take her in with the 'so-called' filthy blood in her womb. At that time my mother's childhood friend and son of my grandfather's trusted knight, Ares asked her to be his second wife. Ares is a talented swordsman who is at the rank of a Sword saint.'

'He loved my mother from childhood and wanted to marry her but due to the difference in status he didn't perceive her and married a daughter of a merchant. Afterwards when he heard my mother's condition he asked her to be his second wife after declaring his love towards him. My mother agreed as he was the best choice at that time. Ares decided to accept me as his own son.'

' So my condition in this house is like this :- My mother hates  me or should I say resents me because I remind her of my father and she feels shameful for her past deeds. Ares, my step father might be the person who accepts me the most and cares about me like his own son. He at least comes to visit me once a day and also brings snacks or fruits for me. If Layla brought me any of these things it would mean stealing. She is only allowed to give me food required to keep me healthy and my stomach full.'

' I also have an elder step brother and a stepmother but they never came to visit me. It seems like Layla has strict orders to not bring me in front of both of them. That's why whenever we go for a walk in the lawn she is always worried and checks her surroundings.'

' Do this is the mess I call my second life.'

Even though he thought that his voice didn't carry a single hint of anger or sadness.

Claude didn't blame his hateful mother or his mysterious father. 

Claude thinks that everything and anything that happens to him is neither good nor bad. If you think about this situation from his point of view then this condition is actually good for him. So that when he grows up into an adult and becomes independent he doesn't have to care about his parents because they were the one who abandoned him.

Claude is indifferent to anything and everything because he thinks that no matter how much he tries he will never be able to avoid problems. So rather than thinking about what ifs he would rather think about how to find the solution of the problems in front of him.

' And then there's this weird body.'

Claude has noticed something weird about his body. He doesn't require much to eat and doesn't even feel or get hungry. After a little investigation he noticed that while breathing he is also drawing some sort of special energy which doesn't allow him to get hungry easily and fills him with energy 24/7.
