A Ruthless Entity
(Jef's Pov)
The robot completely destroyed my car. While I was making attempts to stand up properly, I watched the fake subordinate and Amelia going into Dusk Wood. I was just going to follow them but-
"....!"
The robot kicked me hardly as I sent back flying by the powerful force of that attack. I took out my sword and took my position.
"Surrender....It's for your own safety sir.... I repeat, Surrender....It's for your own safety sir." said CSO Guard Robot.
"Then come and try to stop me, you mere piece of junk..." I refused.
The robots blue glowing eyes turned red immediately just after the refusal. This means, it is....
"Initiating Combat Mode- Normal Mode."
There are various difficulty levels of these robots. Normal Mode for average threats, Power Mode for above average, Expert Mode for strongest opponents, and at last Master Mode for the those opponents who are likely to be undefeatable by anyone.
Robots can't use magic skills but their physical abilities along with advanced weapons makes them go against anyone, in other words we humans.
I wonder if this robot has Master or Expert Mode features. If so, I will not stand a chance. Should I really give up? If I do, that fake subordinate and Amelia will easily escape. They might still be at Dusk Wood and probably want to go from different entrance of Rex City.
If I still refuse, I may only be wasting my time...
"You can't handle a robot, huh? Hahaha." said Jason.
"It's good you called us but if this robot has higher difficulty feature then we can't stand a chance." said Danny.
"You both are here, all I want is to hold this robot back for a while for me until CSO members comes here. You can explain everything to CSO about our organisations and top leaders who died." I said.
"You plan to reveal three organisations's weakness? That Weiss is what we fear or else it would have-"
"Shut up Jason. He is right. His decisions are accurate or atleast nearly accurate to defend or launch assaults. If he calculated that it might be us who will get in trouble then it means he took that decision." said Danny.
"Besides, we can do something to suppress Weiss and other people who would go against us. We will take CSOs help and other police or official agencies." he continued.
"Tut, okay okay. Mr Judge." Agreed Jason.
"Then it's decided, I am going in the Dusk Wood. Make sure not to die." I said.
"Hmph! Who do you think we are huh? We can easily defeat that shit piece of junk." said Jason.
I immediately ran toward the Disk Wood entrance as the robot started to follow me but was stopped by Jason and Danny.
While walking down the path in this forest, I keep thinking about Weiss. A monster more capable of ruling the whole world if he gains every kind of power. He is ruthless and much more cruel than three criminal leaders who are dead now. He will even kill those to wipe out every single evidence.
Weiss was born as the complete evil. He is even dangerous than this culprit who killed three leaders. Weiss doesn't have any feelings towards anyone. He is just like us but also different and dangerous than us.
People who oppose him, are crushed completely by him. People also gave him the title of 'Death Bringer'. A suitable title that fits him. His network all over the kingdom is extremely high. Meaning, he have many subordinates who work under him. He doesn't fear death, death fears him.
However, three criminal organisations, including Zenin Organisation, made a deal that they will not allow Weiss to do as he please and that's why three leaders made a contract to help each other to defend or suppress Weiss. That's why three organisations have good connections as they freely rule the kingdom behind the scenes.
If Weiss know about this then he will make his move quickly to destroy us. In this world of corruption, corrupted ones even fight other corrupted ones to gain absolute power. We made sure to suppress the media informations and made it fake news. Weiss, fortunately, believed that it was fake news about the deaths of three leaders.
However, he might be trying to locate three leaders and if he fail, he will understand that something is wrong. It would take time for him to realise this all and we can easily suppress him by that time but.... CSO Guard Robot messed it up. We have no choice but to publicly announce it. CSO can't keep any potential public informations secret and if they do, they will be considered as criminals as well. They will be punished by King himself.
That's right, we don't have full control on this kingdom, actually no one have full control over this kingdom. The king is not corrupted one and therefore, he destroyed most of the criminals.
The culprit who killed our leaders is more like that Weiss who would clear evidence by any means necessary. He also killed two targets by ordering his men. Now, he will kill Amelia as well. If she is dead then it will only limit our approach to the real culprit. I have to hurry up.
After one hour of searching in forest, I reached the another entrance of Rex City by leaving the Dusk Wood.
"I will have to find them in this city I guess. This is troubling." I muttered.
There is one robot stationed as well. If it is the only one robot here on this entrance then it probably has Expert or Master Mode features. Normally, three to four robots are stationed sometimes due to their lack of high level mode features.
"What should I do now?" I muttered.
A call came in and I picked it.
"Hello, are you still alive Jef?" asked Jason on the device.
"Talk about nonsense..." I mumbled.
"Why did you called me?" I asked.
"We told CSO members that we are the ruthless ones who not only belong to one of the three dangerous criminal organisations but also Co Founders. They said, they will also help us secretly to capture the real culprit. They also removed you from the list so now you can easily go inside the entrance." said Jason.
"That troublesome piece of junk won't interfere anymore." he continued and then cut the call.
