Light in the Sky & What’s going on

Soon after the count down had finished a bright light consumed me and soon enough I appeared standing in a field of grass under bright sunlight with a clear blue sky above us.

"Senpai, looks like we Rayshifted just fine, though it appears we ended up in an unknown location although." She says looking around.

"Mmm…. Though where are the others at?" I say looking around that none of the servants were with us.

"Fou! Fou!" Then I hear the sound of that rabbit dog thing vipping and barking.

"Fou! How did you get here?" Mash says as she grabs pets Fou after bringing it into her hands.

"Hmmm…. I guess it snuck into your coffin and came along with us." After being around Chaldea for awhile it isn't afraid of me anymore but not super friendly with me like with Mash.

"Well will just bring him back when we leave here I guess." Mash says as she keeps petting Fou in her hands.

I then look around to see any nearby areas and then looked up to check the time, although something seemed off as I stared up into the sky.

It was a giant massive ring of light, and I both felt that it was wrong and that it shouldn't be there as well as that whatever it is, its very dangerous.

"Senpai what are you…." She says before she looks up and also stares up into the sky and sees the massive ring of light in the sky above us.

"Yes, we're connected! Not the best quality, but I've got video feed now too! Wait, what's wrong with you two? Both of you staring at the sky like that." Roman says as the call connects between us before he sees us both looking up at the sky.

"Doctor, I'll send you visuals. What is that?" She says as she takes a picture of the sky with the giant ring of light and sends it back to Chaldea.

"This is— A ring of light… No, some form of magecraft cast over the satellite orbit?" But then he's cut off as Olga takes over after seeing it herself as well.

"This isn't any known form of advanced Astromancy that I have ever heard of, but this would require a massive amount of energy to generate, its roughly the size of North America from the looks of it, whatever it is, it's most likely related to the incineration of humanity as a whole, for now we continue with our original plans, when the time comes will deal with it, but for now we should find out what happened here in France and fix it first and foremost, find a Leyline and make a physical connection to Chaldea to bring the servants over to your side." Olga says while giving her orders as what should be done.

"Understood, we will look for a Leyline location before continuing with our work and fixing history as it should." She says with confirmation before cutting the connection with Chaldea.

Though Mash seems to naturally be attuned to Leylines now as after a bit of walking towards the wooded area nearby where a Leyline was in place, so after a quick set up soon enough the rest showed up as well.

"Well, that was something…." Chulainn says as he steps out of the summoning circle as he cracks his neck as the rest come along as well.

"What?"

"It felt like I was constantly falling until I was summoned here, it just feels weird, but whatever, so what are we doing?"

"Well since everyone is here now we need to figure out what's going on and where is the closest area where people are living at so we can head there a figure things out from the locals, oh and that thing in the sky? Yeah it's probably one of the reasons humanity has ceased to exist." I pointed up into the sky which everyone looked up and saw the giant circle of light in the sky.

"Yeah…. That doesn't look good…." Chulainn being the caster of the group can tell whatever that is, it's very bad news, but everyone else looking at it also could tell it was bad news as well.

"Master, mind if I search to see if there's any villages or cities nearby, my eyesight allows me to see far distances because I'm a Archer." Archer suggested to me.

"Do you need a height advantage?"

"Well, the higher the better."

"Can you handle an extremely high fall?"

"Well I could fall from say a skyscraper and be fine."

"Good enough for me." I then squat as I cup my hands as the lines on my body began to glow orange as I power myself up.

Him seeing what I was gonna do backed up to get a running start before running at me with a swift burst of speed before jumping onto my hands which in return using all my strength sent him straight up into the sky above making him turn into a small dot in the sky.

*Whistle* "There he goes…." Chulainn says looking up in the sky at the small dot in the sky that is Archer.

And not long later, 'Master, I can see a walled city nearby, and in the distance I think I can make out Orleans, or at least what's left of it, and several other small towns, but I think I can see the monsters that are messing with history….'

'What kind are they?'

'They look like dragons, or at least dragon like from what I can tell, based on how there arms and wings are merged together I would say there Wyverns to be specific.'

"Wyverns, those seem to be the monster effecting this time period from what Archer said." I tell the rest and shortly after Archer made a crater into the ground when he came back.

"Fast, strong, but not to bright, Master I might be best at taking down these beasts with them being none the wiser." Hassan decided to chime in.

(A/N since Wyverns are considered to be Riders which Assassins excel at killing)

"Well if it was just these monsters messing with things then all we would need to do is hunt them down to fix all this, but from what I saw, these things were clearly being controlled by something, and whoever that is, is in Orleans since that's where most of those Wyverns from what I saw were at." Archer chimes in.

"Well we have a game plan I guess, but I think we should go to that walled town nearby here and get more info, though we should make our stances known with the locals that we're here to help, and if not well…. We can be more heavy handed then…." Aurthuria says as she clenches her gauntleted fist.

"My king, I'll follow your lead, though I hope we can keep the bloodshed low…." Gareth says lifting up her visor as Mash, holding Fou, nodded in agreement.

"Well any that are determine to kill us or are monsters we can't show mercy to them, but any soldiers we end up fighting but decide to retreat then will let them go." I say giving my piece which everyone seemed to agree with.

"Alright, let's get a move on." I say as I nod to Archer who takes the lead, and Hassan nodded at me as he began to run ahead of us in the direction of the town as he began to fade away from us as he used his presence concealment.

It's time we get to work.
